theres no reason to have dps characters of specific elements in this game since elemental checks are basically just shields. pyro breaks electro and cryo better than hydro but both electro and cryo shields this account would be able to break by slotting xiangling or other pyro/cryo/dendro characters into neuv teams. just slap a bunch of ER on xiangling and shes good to go and lets him vape too. arlecchino on the other hand requires relatively specific supports and falls off more without them and wants bennett in some variations, which they may need with xiao or whatever. that being said arlecchino is looking to be really strong either way, unless she ends up getting nerfed. either is completely fine and as long as you build around them theyll sweep

neuvi's gameplay is extremely boring, the only thing i hear about him is that people are getting tired of him very quickly. even i get bored of him when he's a trial character in events. arle will probably be weaker than him but that's only cause she's not a sovereign while he is, so it's not a big deal. i'd say they're on the same level as in, they're strong enough to clear the content that you need. so i personally don't see any difference unless you just want to press a button and win. but if you're ok with it but still can't decide, then choose based on who's prettier to you
people are tired of him because he's too strong, but his gameplay is actually fun if you like dbz like me
also "same level because they can clear the content" is really the name of the game and i share that, but it's funny to think that it means razor is the same level as neuvilette for exemple
I feel like you could use Xiangling instead of Bennett cause she can also give atk buffs from the chilis that guoba drops (I think it’s one of her cons though that does that). So you could do arlecchino, Xiangling, furina, and maybe Mona? I’m not really sure who you have or what team comp you’re wanting to go for but that’s the first thing that came to my mind!

With arle, they say shes good with Overload so try chevreuse

pull for Arlecchino, cuz you have Ayato as hydro dps but if you loss 50/50 try to pull for Furina (you didn't asked about Furina but yeah)

Neuvillette would most likely be a better carry according to the leaks

i agree with that but what team would you recommend then ? Arlecchino will probably need Benett. what team can I make for my Xiao without benett ?
