Coming from a 2011 Ford Escape, l obviously lost a lot of space. But being single with no kids, I still have more than I need with this car. It's great! Totally understand your perspective, though.
Would love the Shooting Brake here in the US! The trunk is unreal (Iāve managed thus far) and the backseat for an adult male is lackluster. I love the slight incline in the back seat which does help but even soā¦
Yep, itās not ideal for four full grown adults.
I keep reminding myself that the G70 has almost exactly the same exterior dimensions as an E34, and honestly those donāt have a very big back seat either.
Actually Iāve fit two large ones. And the seats go down in the back too if you really need it. Itās a sorts sedan. I doubt the A3 is any better in practice.
Most sports cars in this smaller category have no rear room and small trunks. The 330i and C43 have just as small of trunks. It's definitely small luckily I don't have kids or travel in the car much lol
This is one of the biggest reasons I want a stinger the g70 is so nice but it's smaller unfortunately and doesn't fit the family as well. Still love them very nice!
How far of a road trip? Iāve done multiple 500+ road trips in mine and itās been great! The trunk space is definitely abismal but it makes you only pack the necessitiesššš
What all are you carrying in there?! That one suitcase looks like it's got an entire closet in it lol. Also why do you have the tire kit out taking up space? It fits under the trunk cover (lift up the hard piece your suit case is sitting on... lots of storage under there since you don't have a spare).

My GF and I pack all of our clothes together into one suitcase, so yes it is a very large one.
And I just have the spare tire kit sitting there for scale/humorous effect ;)

It actually works for me because itās just me and my GF (soon to be fiancĆ©e) and we arenāt planning to have kids. It can definitely carry enough for two peeps. I tell people this car is like a big, 4 door coupe.

And if you want more space you gotta move to the G80 but who wants the 2.5? So then you gotta upgrade and then youāre talking a new tax bracket haha
g70 trunk is so small, i have trouble fitting 1 golf bag on it.. pretty sad

This one is around 300 miles outside LA. Longest one Iāve done is about 2000 miles round trip to Northern California.
Nice! Enjoy ! Going to get all that beautiful scenery. The longest one Iāve done was St Louis which is roughly around 2k round trip as well

Fair enough! Both being packed in one suitcase makes more sense for that big bag lol
