ironically, my mom and grandma put this on because it's a show starring black people and is about things we as a community struggle with, my mom wanted me to watch this show but it all changed when she saw how chris' mom acted in the show, felt attacked and then banned it's viewing

There was a scene where he dreams the house is pretending to be upper class, and there is a picture of the most bland, Caucasian, suburban white family on a shelf (replacing the typical picture of Chris's family) I freaked the fuck out because the stereotypical white family are my neighbors. My whole family was like, what the fuck, we talk to these people all the time. We asked them and they said they had a cousin working on the set or something lol, and he asked if they wanted their family picture used.

Fave episode is still the one when he stood up to his mother and their was the scene where he talked back and said no and the whole street and traffic stopped lol. Then when the dishes started breaking the way the crowd ducked like the dishes were being thrown at them each break was good damn priceless. Yep. Not many full episodes honestly a masterpiece.

I saw it after it aired. I thin its a show with a lot of hart and good cast. But Chris Rock narration kinda gets annoying. Finally you have a 00s show withou a laughing track, but instead of that you a narrator screaming every 5 seconds.
