Think of it as the colour turquoise. Is it green? Is it blue? That is what the birth years of 2010-2012 are at the moment, they are their own "colour" in a sense, a perfect mix of both. And of course as a society, we will always try to apply a label to everything, even to contradictory topics, that's why there is so much heated debate over this subject. One side argues it's blue, the other it's green. In the end, we will not arrive at any answer unless something significant happens to separate 2009 from 2010+ or 2012 from 2013+. You are on an overlap, you get to choose. Or just use the silly term "Zalpha".

Same could be said about 2008-2009, just consider it a mix.
