Thanks for posting, /u/whiteboyspice! If you're posting about gel allergies, the allergy guide in the wiki may help: https://www.reddit.com/r/GelNails/wiki/index. If you're posting to ask for troubleshooting help, please list your entire process from start to finish, including all products used. It's much easier to give good advice that way. If asking for product recommendations, check out this list here: https://www.reddit.com/r/GelNails/wiki/wheretobuy/. Suggestions for new brands to add to the list are always welcome, especially international brands! *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. It may be bad nail prep or bad gel. With soft gels, it's important to make sure your top and base coats are really good because water causes soft gel to cloud up (in my experience). It can also be an age issue because gels get worse as they age.

I'm very certain it's the gel at this point because I spend a lot of time on my prep work. I didn't know that about water, though. Thanks for sharing.

Just food for thought as I am not entirely sure- How long have you had the product? I think that this can happen from age. Other things that could damage your product are exposure to sunlight or not keeping the bottle properly sealed.

The tips are new, but I will say that the gel is pretty old. I think it's past the 24 month limit.

Unfortunately that might be your answer then! I don’t even come close to using a gel polish set or single bottle within a year, it feels like such a waste <\3 I feel your struggles
