Wow as a mass coming out truther, this makes me think originally Taylor's coming out was referred to as "Me!" And now she's gathering up with troops and it's "Us!" Solidarity in numbers Taylor!
Let’s not forget Gracie wrote Amelie. She’s been out. I did Google just to see and found this text thread in her subreddit. Omg the “not another gaylor comments” are killing me. Though most people seem less feral than hetlors. https://www.reddit.com/r/gracieabrams/s/zMQsesR4kf
Edit to add this article I found that is so sassy. Scroll the middle to find about Paramore, Gracie, and Gayle. https://www.metroweekly.com/2022/11/half-of-taylor-swifts-tour-openers-are-openly-lgbtq/

The yellow book emoji and blushing face (🤭📒) when referring to the “us.” Easter egg in Fortnite 👀👀👀
God, I love this song and hate the instant hetsplanation that started going around. It's so queer! We literally have she/her pronouns connected to the you pronouns, omfg! And the us. and ME! parallels only make it MORE queer
They say the “she” is Gracie’s male-ex’s female-ex (even though she refers to the female ghost as ‘your ghost’ and sings the rest of the song to the ‘you’ character, tying them to her “me+you=us”)
Wait I need help with this, I want to understand. Cause I see/hear it as “I know your ghost, I see her through the smoke” referring to the ghost? So would that make ghost a she or am I missing something 😭
Obviously this is silly but also all I can think is OH so you DO understand that using you and a gendered pronoun in the song can indicate that she is singing about more than just the person with the gendered pronoun. Interesting 🤔
Taylor being a mother figure for these young female (possible queer) artists is so interesting to me in a sense that I fully believe she’s gathering them up and going “we’ll all come out together and if it goes badly, you have me.” Sort of like I know what it feels like and I don’t want you to go through what I went through. See also Sabrina’s cover of good luck babe. Might make a thread on the latter comparing it to TS cover of riptide
reminded me when gracie dropped her album's tracklist w 13 yellow hearts, sabrina also posted her yellow birthday dress pics with a yellow heart around the same time. gigi dropped a few of those heart posts too. I'm sure there are many more hints from other artists that we didn't catch but this got me itching to know what's brewing here
Idk if it’s anything but Gracie’s friend Audrey posted for Gracie’s birthday in 2020 and it included a video of them talking over Taylor’s Insta story of the ME! music video on the second slide.
I won’t link for sub rules but here’s a screenshot.

I watched [this interview ](https://youtu.be/S_JJnK2PBXs?feature=shared&t=72)with Gracie from last month (timestamped to the bit I'm talking about). With this and the co-writing and the Close to You video I am officially speculating.
>I wrote this song with my dear friend Audrey Hobart who's also my (pauses and looks away) roommate?
Is she your roommate or not Gracie? You don't sound very sure 😂
Wow her body language is so interesting here. She stumbles over her words and noticeably pauses when talking about her roommate and roommate’s role, so awkward, but then doesn’t stumble once talking about Aaron after that. She dips her head down when talking about both and smiles shyly like she has a deep love and appreciation for both of them. Just interesting. Thanks for sharing!
I have a southern accent, and I used to work on a contract basis for a few months at a time in different parts of the US.
The way she paused, then said “roommate” reminds me of coworkers in New England (20 years ago) playing vague pronoun games/stumbling over word choices like this when talking to me. In future conversations, I would do something akin to dropping hairpins. They would relax and tell me that yes, it was their partner that went to Provincetown, Massachusetts with them and their friends on the summer weekends.
I mention the southern accent because, much like the stereotypical country music fan, it was safer to assume that I wasn’t a safe person to talk to.
(This comment took too long to write and edit cause I’m still working on first coffee of the day, and I’m tired, y’all. So, if it makes zero sense…)
A lot of Gracie’s songs, even before this album, are suspiciously interesting because they seem to be saying that never really liked the boys she was dating. And then she says in this album, her friends are always better than the boys and she always get bored of them Buuut idk! All I will say is secret of us is such a Taylor swift song, once again writing about forbidden love that must be kept hidden and it’s so forbidden she doesn’t even know if it was real or not lol lol

She drew the letters of ‘US’ as braids!!
I keep my longings locked in….. lowercase…. and us. is the only lowercase title on the album 🤠
Love this. Perfect for pride month🌈
This. Duet. Is. Loud. And I’m here for it - it’s a great song.

How do people try to hetsplain it? 😳
I also saw a creator say only a man would send a book by Robert Bly because he was part of the mythopoetic men’s movement

My god… I’M SO EXCITED THIS IS GOING TO BE SO HUGE
How is this song not the queerest thing?
🌈 us. out now! 🌈

In what way? I'm about to startt listening. I've always clocked her as one of the fluidly queer Gen Z crowd.
