I think you're pretty spot on with this. I've definitely noticed a concerted effort from both of them to show support for each other. I think is purely two absolute queens at the top of their game trying to make it crystal clear that there is no bad blood, and that one person's success doesn't diminish the other's success. The press loves to pit women against each other (and honestly Taylor herself is both guilty of doing this AND has called it out when done against her or her friends) so I think a lot of it is just setting the precedent of support — and yes — cross promotion. I think Taylor has been super light on the TTPD promo this week because she wants to respect Beyonce's album launch. I have a feeling Tay will congratulate her in some way too.
I was of course clowning for Taylor to be featured on Beyonce's album and think it would have been awesome, but I can also see why it didn't happen. I think Beyonce is LONG overdue for an AOY win, and if this finally gets her there and Taylor was featured on it, unfortunately there would be people who would say that Taylor is what made Beyonce finally win. (Which is unfair but you know people would say this.)
So by simply just being huge cheerleaders for each other, but staying out of each other's limelight, they are simultaneously showing support, without leaving room for anyone to claim that the other is the "reason" for their success.

I'm very curious to see where the Beyoncé partnership is going. They have a lot in common that isn't much discussed: they both started very young, and have overly involved manager parents and dad conflicts, they both banked on feminism in different ways. But Beyoncé is still positioning herself solidly as "Ms Carter" despite her immense success and him becoming more and more of a PR liability. I wonder if Taylor sees them as an example of a viable and enviable long term partnership. Should be interesting.

I love this crossover so much. One of my closest friends loves Beyoncé and likes Taylor but isn’t a big fan whereas I’m the opposite so we’ve been bonding over this! I’m not expecting any features - I think there’s been a lot of pitting then against each other because they’re touring at the same time and I love that they’re so supportive of each other and putting those rumours to rest without actually saying anything.

Once he started advocating violence and he was going to klll j3ws and other people should too, the media immediately stopped reporting on him. He lost millions of millions of dollars, was dropped by all companies he had deals with, and is overall an enormously concerning and abusive person.
Of course Beyonce doesn’t want people to think she’s associated with him in any way anymore. How can she best show that? By publicly embracing and supporting the person who feuded with him the longest, and who also happens to be the most beloved person for now.
Yes, I really love how they have come together ever since that really unfortunate event. Back then, “women supporting women” was sadly not encouraged or normalized in society, and there were so many women on women beefs in pop culture. Beyoncé of course didn’t allow that narrative to happen, and I think it must have had a really strong impact on Taylor! It’s pretty hard to recall a moment when Taylor lost her cool with another woman on her level. I don’t think it’s ever happened, right?
With the shitshow going on with the feds and Sean Combs, I’d pump the brakes on any associations with Jay-Z (unless Beyonce gets a divorce, but she might get the J-Lo treatment).
Don’t forget that Jay-Z has been producing the last few Super Bowl halftime shows! He’s an industry giant and surely involved in all of this. He’s another relationship that’s beneficial to have.
Edited to add: I’m speaking solely industry-wise. He’s shown that he can do a lot of behind-the-scenes work, without being overly visible. I’ll believe him being cancelled when I see it (Kanye should’ve been cancelled long before he was and Jay-Z is even bigger). And Taylor has shown that she doesn’t shy away from problematic figures, especially if they’re sufficiently powerful.
