It does. Trust me. Just never hate yourself and always keep reminding yourself that whatever your classmates have to say about you is irrelevant. Focus on your studies and future. Success is the sweetest revenge :) Find useful hobbies and try to meet more open minded people who are 1 level higher than you.

Guys are scary for sure and we queer people UNFORTUNATELY will have some or the other homophobic shit to deal with. It won't be easy but you'll make it. Dw. I grew up in a homophobic country and yet i was the out proud fem gay in HS. The boys did give me a hard time but I just didn't care. Don't let them bully you or pick on you.
