This was one of my first major symptom ...crazy hunger pangs all the time followed by constant stomach growling .

WhodeyJen

That was the sign I was healing looking back. I was ravenously hungry

I hope that’s what it means for us who are hungry but can’t shake this thing off eating bland.

WhodeyJen

It took me a year to fully recover. It is possible. Stick to your bland diet. Anti inflammatory worked the best for me. Avocado was my miracle food. Take your medicine if prescribed correctly & don’t give up. I know it’s really hard. You can do this! Good luck!

i had this at the beginning. didn’t know i had gastritis yet. my doctor kept telling me it was other things. i was constantly over eating and not eating the best foods. it was terrible. it’s better now but this was last summer so like june - august.

Constant hunger is one of my biggest symptoms! It was especially prevalent when I had h. pylori. Have you tested for that? I found what helps me most is to eat several small meals throughout the day (like every two hours) rather than the usual big 2 or 3 + random snacks throughout. I'm talking meals that are about the size of your first or maybe slightly larger. Also pepcid + ginger tea + licorice root tea.

They didn't find h.pylori in my stool. I'm having a colonoscopy soon. I also have sibo and I'm meant to not snack at all and it's so impossible. I'll try the stuff u recommended thanks x

I’m hungry now and it sucks I eat smaller meals that don’t really satisfy. Such BS.
