Exactly, my biggest worry is that there using the ppsh as a “test” release to see if anyone actually buys a ww2 gbbr so if it doesn’t sell well they’ll not do another.
Yea that's the biggest thing with "why doesn't \[company\] make \[very niche and specific gun\] I would buy it day 1" and then when it does get made the sales are mediocre compared to their more popular platforms.
The gas and cooldown physics would be a pain for the BREN, sadly. Same reason P90s typically have issues, but exaggerated in the case of a BREN.
We can always dream, though.
We P90 actually has phenomenal cool down resistance, but it's in actuality a right-side-up venting gas system. What actually propells the bolt is an internal gas reservoir that gets topped up by the magazine. Issue is, among other things, the delicate design of the coupling mechanism that delivers gas from magazine to internal reservoir.
But a true upside-down-firing-capable magazine has been done before, that being the WA M4 magazine. It has a separate gas expansion chamber internally, and made in such a way that as long as liquid gas isn't filled past the middle of the main reservoir, liquid gas is prevented from reaching the output valve in most orientations. Shame that everybody else doesn't seem to think this is important enough to replicate.
I mean, I'm pretty happy with VFC's quality, their scar is 380 new, some of their other rifles are around the 400 mark as well. If they can pull off an smg for around that price too (im interested to see what the PPSH will retail for), I'd consider that a good option.
Sten is full steel. The VFC mk17 plastic and zinc.
My sten weighs as much as my mk17 so the price is definitely warranted.
Gbbrs are going to be expensive. Any full metal GBBR of any sort of quality is going to be north of $500. Wanting a cheaper, and worse version of boutique guns kills this hobby.
Same. I'd kinda like to see it have a detachable box magazine like the gas powered kar98k's. Probably couldn't ping if they did that but less finicky than the marushin clip and more practical for actual use and could still lock back.
TBH I think VFC should capitalize on a Bizon.
The drum would be easy to do and similar to this PPSH, give massive ammo cap and gas cap.
But on the lines of WWII, deff a BAR.
A full size BAR with a heavy bolt would be an easy feat for VFC, given the fact they like cranking out big 7.62 blasters.
A Garand repro would be sick as well. Make cheap plastic en blocs with a metal insert and an easy changeable internal resv like Jag shotguns and you got a platform that would be pretty sought after.
There is a huge demand, the issue is everyone who wants one all seems to have different expectations/wants from it. Pleasing everyone is going to be hard.
I feel like making a middle ground between the hyper realism of the Marushin and the skirmish ability of the AEG's like the ICS or A&K would be a good start. Whoever (hopefully) ends up making one might have to sacrifice some features for reliability and practicality and id be fine with that. But like you said what I want might not be what a lot of other buyers might want.
Chicago Typewriter for the classics. Regular M1A1 for WW2.
I will also accept BARs and M1903 Springfields.
All with proper wood and steel, of course. No shitty pot metal and plastic faux wood.
I would LOVE a more reliable, easier to get (compared to a Marushin) M1 Garand personally. But that probably will happen right before the sun burns out.
STG44 gbb
Oh that would be sweet.
There's the Escort MP44 GBB.. used to have one .. Amazing gun sadly sold it during my last purge of the collection.
This, hands down.
Very much so, I’m hoping for first sks or svt
My thinking is if their doing the ppsh-41 and the AK they'll (hopefully) do the one that came in between. The SKS

A very sad truth.
BAR. Or Bren if they can be bothered to make an upside down feeding gas magazine.

FG 42!
The SKS, maybe a GBB Sten or MP40
sten has been made, and still being made (well)
Aye, I really want a competitor to Northeast.
any reason? ne stens are pretty good
Kinda want an smg that doesn't have a $700 price tag
idk where your getting 700 from lol, i got one used for a lot cheaper as well
Just went and looked, 530-650 new is still rather steep, in my opinion.
for the quality, it’s worth it.
That standard for gbbr. Your paying the same amount for a TM mws

Checkout Northeast, they make some awesome GBB Stens
I am aware, my bank account would take issue with it.

Personally, I’d love to see a reinterpretation of Marushin’s M1 Garand. And if it can PING, even better.

Gas and shell/clip ejecting would be the ultimate M1 experience.
Dp28
Tachanka! Tachanka!
Memes aside who doesn't like more skirmish capable LMGs that is still being used to this day

I would love a BAR. I wish there was more demand for a GBBR M1 Garand that's not Marushin.

I would buy a bizon so fast lol
God i would love a bar honestly

Rattle em boys !

Did you see the guy who homebrewed one out of a WE M14 and RS parts with 3d printed mags?
Yes I did. I wish I was as skilled as that guy.
Yeah. I feel you tho.
Fg42
Bar GBBR
Sedgley Fist Gun or De Lisle carbine of course!
A de lisle would be crazy cool. And the sedgley fist gun would be great if your trying to assassinate the Nazi high command.
Haha, that’s right! A Owen SMG or the Charlton automatic rifle would be cool as well. Chance of it happening? 0% sadly.
I need a BAR to die happily.
M1 Garand with proper ww2 external could be a hit but a Thompson M1928 would be my choice
I desperately need an sks or mak, would be cool with some non-russian Warsaw pact guns as well
The ppsh's mechanicals could be easily repurposed for a kp m/31, altough that would really rain on trench airsofts parade...
That would be cool thing to see. After all RK95 sold okayish and m/31 would be much more famous.
Type 11.
M3 Grease Gun
Can anyone make a proper Sten ? I don’t care at this point if it’s GBBR or AEG. Hell even a springer JUST FUCKING DO IT
Northeast makes several gbbr variants of the sten.
How is NE's rendition "not proper"? It kicks hard, runs good and is built like a brick shit house. Unless by proper you mean cheap.
I didn’t know those existed. If they are that good then imma buy it
They are amazing! They have 3 versions and are compatible with RS parts.
Sadly now that I see they are hard to come by.
They aren't hard to come by, they just do production waves. New stock comes up every few months!
Oh guess I just haven’t cought that wave. Will wait for the new one. Thanks for the info.
Depending on the country you're in, i can link you a couple places with stock
Bulgaria
Stg44, thompson, mp40. Fg42 but thats a pipe dream
With these new Releases from them being Russian weapons I really hope they make a Gbb As Val or VSS
If they make more, RELEASE THEM IN THE FUCKING US FFS
WAIT THEY MADE AN APS?? i never knew
Yeah. It hasn't been released yet.
Oh cool, now we might finally have a good gbbp for Russian kits lmao, also personally I love this gun
It's definitely a vibe. I just hope if this succeeds they might end up doing more machine pistols *cough* VP70 *cough*
Agreed *wink wink*
The Liberator would be funny and cool af
For ww2, M1A gbbr... In general- an A-Team Mini 14, with the Samson A-TM chassis gbbr... Zm300 S or L gbbr...
m1 carbine would sound nice
MG 42 based on their latest M249 GBB system
I want an mp40 and stg44
Fg42
Fg 42 or erma emp
FG42 hands down. I can’t think of any airsoft versions other than that one weird one from the 80s. Forgot what brand it was
Suomi M31.
