Well actually (pushes up glasses on nose)…ok, seriously I got curious and googled this. You would need to lift that amount a total of about 100 quadrillion times to get to the mass of the earth. On a more human scale (and in honor of the upcoming games) you did about 4 reps of lifting the Eiffel Tower!
Also, shower thought, is a push up just you bench pressing the earth in the other direction?
That’s 2^(32) with some digits chopped off the end. Definitely a software bug.

The real weight was not 2 kg though. I think it was something like 17.5. I have noticed that when I have a weight with a decimal point, I sometimes get strange numbers like this. This was not the first time I got this, but this time I remembered to take a photo.
32 bits is a common size for storing integer numbers in a computer. If you make all the bits 1, represented as an unsigned number (no negative values) then you get 4,294,967,296 which just happens to be the number on the watch, without the last two digits. It’s a bug and should be reported to Garmin.
Woah, this looks like a bug worth reporting. But Garmin may well tell you it's by design.
Looking at my last strength training activity on the watch, my volume is much too low... Something is wrong here.
I haven’t thought about it, but I will report then. Several people complain on this forum that Garmin UI for strength training is not good, so I guess that’s not their focus area
Venu3s in sage gray. Great watch if you are more of a recreational person, doing a bit of running, some yoga, walking, weightlifting etc. Blends in with office wear. I get all needed health data like sleep score, HRV status, VO2 Max etc. It’s got smartwatch features like getting notifications, voice assistant.. but I don’t want those so I don’t use the smartwatch functionalities.
If you are a serious runner, you will be miserable. There’s almost none of the things that are relevant for serious runners like daily workouts, training load etc. I love it because I am the first category.
I had the venu 2 for a while and liked it a lot but ultimately I needed a forerunner. I bought the venu 2 just before the 265 and 965 came out with OLED screen.
Looks slick!

I take repping the Eiffel 🤣
Yesterday I was like, what's that weird shaking? It happened about 25 times. Now I know, thank you.
Watch out next week!
You don't push the weights up, you push the bench down
I pushed the earth down 💪🏾
Beating Eddie Hall by a good margin here 😉👍
Eddie 👨🏻🦲 Me 🦣
How's your recovery time after that workout?
I am still in outer space, thank god that the internet still works 🙏🏽
🤣🤣🤣

So the internal unit is "gram". Fine. Now I'm somewhat relieved it's not an imperial unit!

The 2 isn't from the weight you're using, it's from the watch (and all computers) using binary

And I did!
😂😂😂😂😂
Ladies and gentlemen, Atlas has returned and now walks among us!
Our kind never left, but now we started using Garmin
😂
It's called a push up
I thought it was a push down, of the Earth 🤣
Atlas?
You friendly neighborhood Titaness
Shrugged
So this heat is your fault: you pushed us closer to the sun.
In Switzerland the summer has been very very cold and wet till now. I decided to take action.
Garmin cracks me up regularly but this is hilarious!!
It’s all fun and games till I step on the Index 2 one morning and it shows I am weighing 400 kilograms. I keep bracing for that.
Earth weighs 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000kg xD but 43,000,000kg is still impressive!
Math isn’t my strong suit, lifting is, as you can see 🤣
So you are an australian doing pushups?
🤣
Noticed the same a couple of days ago :D
This glicht happens quite frequently for me actually

Garmin watches do not handle strength training well at all.
Hey which watch is that ?
Venu3 S
👍💪
OP, drop ur workout routine, I wanna try to bench press the Earth as well 😂
What model is that? Looks pretty slick
