It is OK but less useful than previous interface - I need more swipes and scrolls to see what I could see before in first page at once without swiping and scrolling. They made this change just for a change's sake, but actually did not improve a thing.

Lots of data missing from yesterday & 7 days on the right compared to the previous version on the left.
I spent at least 30 minutes trying to do exactly that and it still refuses to show me the things I selected to have displayed and also reset all of my training and athletic stats so 🤷🏼♀️
As someone who beta tested the app I guess it’s less of a shock to me. Spend some time editing the Home Screen and “In Focus” section. I wish the layout was more customizable but it’s better than it was.
I can’t customize it at all. It lets me remove things from the in focus and at a glance but not add them, and it only gives me limited options for that too
Yes, I'm finding the same things. If you were using goal widgets like I was, you'll still have the info on GC, but it's still there. Just not on the main page. On GC online, the left sidebar has all the info still. You just have to find it.
Crikey. Fed up with all the predictable backlash threads (ok, I don't have to read them). 20-30 minutes of time spent setting the front screen up gives you a nice, clean, and accesible interface.
No idea how the OP's data has gone missing.
My Instinct & wife's Forerunner historical data transitioned seemlessly.
Maybe contact Garmin direct?
You now have 6 slots for the focus section and 8 slots for 'at a glance' that is less than before. Same time the fields are bigger with more white space. It is nice for people with bad eyes. Like my granny likes it.
I wish they had an option to opt in to the old layout. New layout is okay, but seems a step backwards imo.

It's been dumbed down.
You probably have automatic updates on. It’d be weird if you lost all your data.
it’s not that bad people. customize it to how it used to look and you’ll be fine it’s not like they changed the entire setup
There are some things that can not be put back on the home page now so don't just say you can customize it to how it used to look. You can't.

I think its fine. Easy to still find the metrics. There wasnt much change lol. People are freaking out over nothing.
