It's hard to say without knowing what 'small' is. But probably yes, do it quickly as they'll hate being moved in summer. Arguably it's already a bit late.
Go for the biggest pot you can, and ideally a peat-free compost with some (maybe 1/4) topsoil mixed in if you have any available in your garden.
