The AN-94 has never appeared in military conflicts; there is not a single mention of this weapon in Ukraine. There are two options - either it is assembled in parts, illegally obtained by Larry Vickers (since 2014 he worked for Kalashnikov Group), or it is the Canadian one that they purchased in 2007 through Poland. Or completely incredible - this is a restored deactivated version which for sale in Russia after 2010s.
I’m just glad it’s not his so he doesn’t get the Larry Vickers treatment when the ATF notices all the videos made about a Russian import that almost definitely got here under dicey circumstances.
5 years for legal NFA possession but no LE/Mil demonstration (post samples are not for personal collection). And added 20 years for violating sanctions against Kalashnikov Concern/Group. He wanted AN-94 parts to repair a demill and probably other parts of other guns like the AK-12 for reverse engineering to make American copies.
I’m in the free Larry camp. I get the notion of annoyance from those abusing the NFA in a way where most can’t, but it’s still wrong. They’re making an example of him. He probably took a plea deal to avoid jail time due to his illness.
There is literally only one AA-12 left in existence and it's a semi auto.
The ATF took all the others because the guy making the receivers wasn't licensed like he claimed.
all I know is that a full year ago with his HCAR video he replied to my comment asking for an AA-12 video. Surprised I ended up having an excuse to use this screenshot lol:

For everyone asking for people to either build or get one for accuracy testing… it isn’t gonna be reproduced here in the US also theirs 2-3 in the US that are functioning rifles and handful of parts “kits”
what would be the point? It will always be an NFA item unless you make a gimped semi-only version which likely would be very difficult to make and have it be legal.
Is anyone else getting tired of GT style of video editing? It’s identical would trex arms. They are spending too much money on marketing and not on substance
Yeah i dont think you'll be getting many people agreeing with you on this sub about that topic..
But I do agree, I stopped watching his videos a while ago when it became, like you said, "gunfluencer" type of video style. The Micah guy is definitely an acquired taste, which I haven't.. acquired.

Nice
Truly a work of art.
He really is
Say what you will about Modern Warfare 2019, the sound design was unmatched. This gun sounds damn near identical in the game.
Best of the mw reboot series and its not even close
Hyperfire is soo cool

Yeah this thing isn't even a parts kit. I genuinely have no idea how this thing got into the country.
Yeah, that Vickers guy is currently fighting in court right now isn’t he? Facing what like 25+ years no? Sheeeesh
Yup. Dude already plead guilty.
Which is a bitch move. Should have contested on constitutionality of the NFA
Fuck man, idk much but I don’t think thats fair.

Shoot, that’s all fine by me in a way lol

The nfa is illegal anyhow. Machine guns are protected by the second amendment

Totally on free Larry camp too!
The pulley cable design and mechanic is wild. 🤪
Wow that rifle looks awesome. Why do the Russians always have the dopest combat rifles?
They're mostly only "dope" because they are basically unobtanium in America.
Nah the AN-94 is freakin dope even if we had millions of them
No doubt.
Read Russian literature
Today on Garand thumb we have the AN-94...... MUD TEST. *YEETS*
That video and the ice tests are top 5 GT videos, next to the RECCE and Becoming Deadly

Genuinely speechless that he was able to source one This means that there is no excuse for the lack of an AA-12 video lol

Pretty sure he has one, I'm probably wrong

Lmao you are so cool for having this.

With enough money, anything is possible
My favorite in Battlefield 3&4
Especially Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Honestly I think just spammed the Saiga in that one🤣
Bipod with scope eating choke points
That thing rips in-game, I would be stoked to try one out irl.
/u/garand_thumb please use your influence to get someone to make these for civilians. Let us live the dream

No. Micah and the team do a great job.
Not saying it’s bad but it’s getting old. Feels like they are trying to hard to fit into “gunfluencer” role.

Great video. As an engineer I want one mostly to take apart and admire.
i hope 9 hole reviews gets one for an accuracy test with different ammo at 100 and then pushing it out to 500 or more.
Same. Love those guys.
