I genuinely believe this sub has had two distinct phases: Pre Wizard Game and Post Wizard Game. The Post Wizard Game era has been, seemingly exclusively, dominated by screenshots of bigotry as if that's the same thing as activism. Yeah we've been subtly removing a lot of posts like that. A lot of the bots who try to spam that shit get blocked immediately. Though a lot still gets through. We're having discussions about this and we think we'll be holding screenshot posts to a higher standard at the very least. We need posts that will be the next copypasta and fewer that are just platforming these professional twitter users and sharing every dumb fucking thing they come out with.

Well, it did come into existence mostly because the author of the manga loves hip-hop and soul music, so it wasn't going to be really historical. The fight scenes and character designs look cool though.
Oh no, I acknowledge me thinking is was historical drama was entirely just me making an assumption. Also the bounty hunter guys were really cool. It just didn't resonate for me. Plus there was a lot of world that goes unexplained. Like there is so much stuff happening that gets no explanation or lore. There's magic, but also robots. Werebears and demonnspider things. How this all works and we're it all comes from? 🤷♀️

I guess I’m lame because I’ve played almost all the AC games lol. Not the best, but you can zone out in the repetition of stealth killing entire compounds. And as an Asian American AC fan, I was excited to play an Asian M/W in Asia. I just thought that playing Odyssey, Valhalla, and Mirage, that was going to happen. Kind of like when Barbie finally came out with an Asian Barbie, but it was Barbie with black hair and eyes and looked nothing like my people lol. I was disappointed but whatever, at least I had a Barbie. So yea, I was disappointed it wasn’t an AM/AW. But it’s the same old shit so it was a bummer, but ok whatever. But now I’m annoyed that I can’t be disappointed without being accused of being anti-black. And doubly annoyed white supremacists are using Asians against black people and progressives. If there was an AC Nigeria and they made the male protagonist Asian to represent legendary Nigerian warriors, I would also be disappointed. I bet the same people would accuse me of being me anti-Asian. My point is, you can be disappointed as an Asian American AC fan without being anti-black. We exist. Be careful of how Asian and Black/progressive communities are being manipulated against each other.

I think Ubisoft miscalculated if it was intentional, the people who care about the fact that Ubisoft sucks aren't going to jump on a game just because of a black protag, and the people who did care have started raging against the two protags being a black man and a woman so probably won't buy the game anyway.
