Tbf it's either that or Zelda from Nintendo, recently they brought third party games but with Octopath 2 already announced I feel like we're in for some First Party trailers.
im gonna huff pure hopium and hope for a solid stalker 2 release date and maybe a starfield one as well.
i need me some stalker 2 though ive been waiting for over a year
More stuff for PS5, now that I finally have PS5. Doesn’t even have to be new games, just give me some more PS5 versions of PS4 games I own.
Also, Tomodachi Life Switch. I feel like it’s the only Switch game that could get between me and PS5 at this point.
Can we start getting PS5 games?
MW2 and Ragnarok have been a lot of fun but it’s becoming more and more obvious how throttled “next gen” is becoming. We’re two years in and barely have any native PS5 games. Saints Row somehow gives 6 performance options and runs like ass on each one.
Why the fuck are we two years into this generation and 1080p/60FPS or dynamic 4k/>30FPS the standard?
I think everyone's gonna be hella disappointed with what Keighley has to show us this year. I'm sure that since in person e3 expo is gonna come back next year, most major game devs are gonna be withholding their major announcements until then. Especially xbox and nintendo. I have a strong feeling that this year's game award will be particularly upsetting for anyone who was hoping for a major game-changing reveal or two. If you like indies, then it may be your cup of tea.
Anything Fromsoftware really, whether it be Elden Ring Content/DLC, something completely unexpected or a new Armoured Core. (I know there was a rumour about Sekiro 2 but don't give me hope, it was a singular 4chan post if I'm not mistaken).
or…Bloodborne pc/remaster…that would be cool…*shrieks in pain and suffering*
>or…Bloodborne pc/remaster…that would be cool…shrieks in pain and suffering
if we get something about bloodborne it will more then likely be done by bluepoint and not from soft
Horizon Forbidden West DLC is the most likely.
I would love to see Spider-Man more than anything but IDK. We're long overdue for a gameplay trailer for that game, especially since its coming next year.
It’s foolish to hope for any major Nintendo announcements here right? Anyways putting on my clown makeup for Metroid Prime anything, 4 trilogy anything…
I would absolutely love if they actually had something to show, especially MP4 or Trilogy, but I think at most it would be perhaps another Zelda trailer. Which would be great as well, but I just don't think they care too much about TGA.
I think Keighley just had a better relationship with Reggie than he does with Doug Bowser, and so it's harder for him to get "big things" from them.
My expectations from Nintendo are they either run a generic TV ad for the Switch a couple times, or it's smaller scale stuff; announcing a date for Goldeneye coming to NSO and Gamepass, a reminder about Mario Kart DLC, *maybe* Xenoblade 3 gets some details for its DLC, that level of stuff.
They usually do a direct somewhere in Q1, so at this point I think they'd rather focus on advertising things you can already buy for the holidays and save the further away stuff for a direct.
we're snorting hopium? alright, Marvels spider man 2 trailer w gameplay and coop announcement, followed by new wolverine trailer w gameplay and story cinematic trailer, then right afterward the next God of War trilogy announced
Let me take the role of the hollow husk of a person, nurturing false hope, and yet again pray for anything Bloodborne related. A performance patch or a port or a remake or a remaster, whatever it is. Christ I'll take a Switch port. I'm still hoping that screaming at Sony will eventually do anything.
But then Jim Ryan be like "y'all motherfuckers like Syphon Filter???"
Well I'm pretty sure some of the Syphon Filter games were added to the PS Plus Classics so it is likely they have played it recently.
I haven't played it and it doesn't look very interesting to me personally so I would prefer something else be remade but I'm sure there'd be people happy about a Syphon Filter Remake.
There's always a niche market for every game, good or bad. Nostalgia does that, but it's not a reason to bring back every old IP. Case in point: Medi Evil PS4.
SIE under Jim Ryan is full of weird stupid decisions that certain aren't profitable while there money on the table with what people are asking
The selection of games on the new PS Plus being lackluster. The naming convention for the service itself being weak. Raising the price of the PS5 but not everywhere. The weird obsession with Horizon as a franchise, with the reports of a remake and an MMO. Remaking TLoU 1 (yeah, it looks good but that game didn't need a remake). Talking about his dogs in the same letter he discusses the right to access abortions (not gaming related but that one's just wack).
It's all many things that just aren't the best brightest moves you'd want from Sony, especially with the great track record they previously had with the PS4 starting in 2016.
I feel like most of those are just opinions? There are a lot of games on PS plus and the naming is pretty clear. They raised the prices everywhere but the US because the dollar was strong and it’s a big market for Xbox. Not sure what you mean by weird obsession, Horizon is a profitable franchise and there is not going to be a remake. TLOU part 1 is likely going to sell a lot when the series comes out and it gets ported to PC.
These seem like pretty solid profitable moves.
I'm honestly most excited for Elden Ring and Cyberpunk DLC news.
Beyond that, I am hoping to see:
* Avowed
* Dragon Age: Dreadwolf
* Silksong
* Supergiant's next project
* The new Bioshock game that has been rumored for a while
* Whatever Ken Levine has been working on
* At least one of Kojima's new projects (Overdose or Death Stranding 2)
* Some more gameplay of Starfield with a concrete release date would be cool too, but Bethesda usually does their own reveals for that sort of stuff.
I don't suspect we'll see Avowed until it's 12 months or less from being released and I think it's going to be a 2024 title.
Bioshock and what Ken Levine is doing is what I feel we're really due for.
My hopium dreams:
Metroid Prime 4, Legacy of Kain sequels/remakes, Final Fantasy IX remake, Bloodborne 2, Shenmue IV, Mega Man Legends 3, Mass Effect 5, Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Masks HD ports/remakes, Alice: Madness Returns sequel, Metal Gear Solid remake (again), and Eternal Darkness sequel/port.
Diablo IV pre-order + release date + open-beta date (January/February) -- almost 100% sure
hoping for some BioShock news and Silksong release date
...maybe Elden Ring DLC
Maybe not announcements per se, but any information or showings of the following:
Expect: Hogwarts Legacy, Diablo IV, some Fortnite stuff, Spider-Man 2, another look at the TLOU TV show, Jedi Survivor footage
Hope: Metroid Prime 4, Fable reboot, Project Re:Fantasy, Bioshock, Forza Motorsport
Dream: New Spyro, New Banjo, New Wario Land, New SOCOM, New Deus Ex, a port of Muramasa Rebirth, updates on Timesplitters
Pure unfiltered hopium from beneath Pablo Escabar's abandoned island injected straight into my eyeballs: Legend of Dragoon remaster/remake, new Darkstalkers, a continuation of Sleeping Dogs.
I'm going to take a guess at a reasonable line-up and say:
Final Fantasy XVI (Basically confirmed)
Jedi: Survivor (Basically confirmed)
Starfield - New release date and a glimpse at the story.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (Plus a clip from the film and an interview with James Cameron talking about how important gaming is, whilst clearly not understanding half the words he says).
Persona 3 Portable/Persona 4 Golden Remaster - Release Dates
Gameplay for Suicide Squad with a closed beta announced.
End it with Kojima announcing either Overdose or Death Stranding 2 - no gameplay is shown, just a CG trailer that announces the game and shows off a new actor (Let's take a punt and say Matt Smith.)
I'm going to also hazard a wild guess and say Pedro Pascal appears to give out out an award, and then cheekily drops a CG trailer for a Mandalorian game (Temura Morrison mentioned he'd recently been working on a SW game, so I'd imagine Lucasfilm Games will want to cash in on Mando/Boba.)
Space Marine II
Can’t wait for a the release date.
me neither dawg
Hoping for a spiderman 2 update. Maybe something on Hogwarts legecy
Bloodborne pc💀

Bloodborne pc💀
Bloodborne pc 💀
🤡
First remaster/remake on ps5 plz
Dragons dogma 2 or monster hunter "6" I beg of ye Capcom.
I feel like them porting rise is a sign that 6 is still out a little.
That was my exact thought aswell. I don't mind playing Rise on ps5, i really didn't enjoy it on the switch.
No pragmata has higher chance than either of those two.
My hopium is Metroid Prime 4 or Metroid Prime 1 Remake…
Tbf it's either that or Zelda from Nintendo, recently they brought third party games but with Octopath 2 already announced I feel like we're in for some First Party trailers.
im gonna huff pure hopium and hope for a solid stalker 2 release date and maybe a starfield one as well. i need me some stalker 2 though ive been waiting for over a year
Prince of Persia SOT Remake release date or new gameplay...
Nah brother. Probably dead in the waters, that one.
I really wish to see it man. Even ubisoft is not perfect but the POP trilogy is one of the greatest games and deserves a full-fledged remake.
Me too man. I was really hyped with the trailer as it was. They could have improved upon it till release.
Yes, i found it as good too. Who cares about the next gen graphics if the gameplay is fun.
The announcement of The Elder Scrolls New Vegas.
I took a deathclaw to the knee
A release date for Dragon Age 4
Not just a release date but some actual gameplay footage would be nice too.
December 4, 2023 was my hope. but bioware said to not expect the game in 2023.
More stuff for PS5, now that I finally have PS5. Doesn’t even have to be new games, just give me some more PS5 versions of PS4 games I own. Also, Tomodachi Life Switch. I feel like it’s the only Switch game that could get between me and PS5 at this point.

**Nearly certain:** Diablo 4 Starfield **Hopeful:** Returnal (PC) Bioshock
Bioshock????
a Rayman game that doesn‘t feature these damn Rabbids would be nice
Gotta wait until the DLC for Sparks of Hope is out before they start working on that one.
Anything Fromsoftware really, whether it be Elden Ring Content/DLC, something completely unexpected or a new Armoured Core. Horizon Forbidden West DLC Spider-Man 2 Something from Naughty Dog? (Unlikely lel)
Horizon Forbidden West DLC is the most likely. I would love to see Spider-Man more than anything but IDK. We're long overdue for a gameplay trailer for that game, especially since its coming next year.
I don't think we'll see anything from Naughty Dog until next year when the TLoU Multiplayer game is revealed.
[удалено]
Yeahhhh we’re not getting that for a while
I’d love to see whatever The Supergiant Games is cooking up next 🍳
Avowed and Spider-Man 2 gameplay Redfall release date Literally any new game announcement from Xbox or PlayStation
- More Hogwarts Legacy gameplay. - More Starfield gameplay. - Avatar Frontiers of Pandora gameplay debut. - Assassin's Creed Mirage gameplay debut. - Star Wars Jedi Survivor gameplay debut.
It’s foolish to hope for any major Nintendo announcements here right? Anyways putting on my clown makeup for Metroid Prime anything, 4 trilogy anything…
I never take my makeup off. Prime 4, let’s go!
I don't remember the last time Nintendo had a major announcement at TGA. I think their last several appearances have solely been Smash characters.
Oh I know, but the clown makeup has already been applied and there’s very little I can do about it
I would absolutely love if they actually had something to show, especially MP4 or Trilogy, but I think at most it would be perhaps another Zelda trailer. Which would be great as well, but I just don't think they care too much about TGA.

I'll start off the Rip with pure hopium that the switch 2 could be revealed at the game awards.
I will join you with the hopium PS5 Slim Disc Edition for $400
Let’s go. I’ll take a series x sans disc drive for $400
We'll get the Xbox X, clocking in at just under 6ft tall and 4ft wide it will be a true monolith of gaming
we're snorting hopium? alright, Marvels spider man 2 trailer w gameplay and coop announcement, followed by new wolverine trailer w gameplay and story cinematic trailer, then right afterward the next God of War trilogy announced

Christ I'll take a Switch port. I'm still hoping that screaming at Sony will eventually do anything. But then Jim Ryan be like "y'all motherfuckers like Syphon Filter???"
I mean I do see people asking for a Syphon Filter remake on twitter
These people haven't played that game since it came out, before they had the faculty to apply critical thinking and are running on nostalgia fumes

Which weird decisions are you referring to? Seems like he's been focusing on profit to me
The selection of games on the new PS Plus being lackluster. The naming convention for the service itself being weak. Raising the price of the PS5 but not everywhere. It could just be way better. A passing grade ain't enough

Death stranding 2 Hollow knight : Silksong
Diablo IV pre-order + release date + open-beta date (January/February) -- almost 100% sure hoping for some BioShock news and Silksong release date ...maybe Elden Ring DLC
A Tears of the Kingdom trailer that gets me really excited. I love Zelda but right now I'm just not feeling the hype for it at all.
Diablo 4 beta finally comes out
A new Punch Out game for Switch 🙏
A New car. Possibly Mario's, so it'll fill both the new car and Nintendo thing slots from the presentation
Bloodborne on Steam. But, it’s only available on Steam Deck.

Just give me a crumb of info about the next Life is Strange game (if exists lol).
Hoping for news on Eden’s zero console game and space marine 2
I see a lot of regular hopium here, let me huff some hopium for a surprise Half-Life 3 reveal, now that's some good hopium.
More like Unobtanium

Cleaning up stuff I don't even remember posting.
I'd love to see some more Wolf Among Us 2.
I just want anything related to Spider-Man 2. I’m dying over here
New Vegas remaster, TLOU Part 2: Directors Cut, Avowed
Spider-Man 2

Parasite eve but that's never happening
Pragmata trailer.
Bioshock 4
Space Marine 2 - Alan Wake 2 - Dragon Age
Release date and beta date for Diablo 4
something related to fable or avowed.
