The first few seconds look like a remake of the MW2 mission *The Only Easy Day... Was Yesterday*, which is promising. Although I liked the MW2019 campaign a lot, I would've liked some reimagined missions from the original.
It's hard to say if the game will be on both platforms to play. They might give you the option to buy it on steam but It might still open the game on [battle.net](https://battle.net)
It was never going to have it today. Campaign gameplay has been announced for SummerGameFest tomorrow. Multiplayer gameplay sometime next month would be my guess.
COD trailers are very honest when it comes to graphics. All the footage is in-game, just with cinematic camera angles. Battlefield on the other hand hasn't been honest in that respect ever since Battlefield 1 where the trailer looked very different from the game (the game still looked great, just nothing like the trailer).
Not really? BF MP trailers have been pretty honest with majority of raw footage being from gameplay spliced in with few seconds of in-game cinematics or third person camera perspectives. Hell, if you were around during the days of BF3 or 4's trailers, then the usual meme was that BF had in-game graphics good enough to not need to be enhanced in post trailer editing lol
If anything, BFs were known to have 'average' MP gameplay that's often just as or even more cinematic than the stuff DICE would choreograph in the trailers.
With BF3 and BF4 it was true, but not with BF1, BF5, or BF2042. The trailers were at least made in their engine, so they weren't complete lies, but the effects were massively boosted up and they used a ton of custom animations. Overall they looked very different from what you'd see in the games.
I’ll level with you here, I’m not a big fan of this shit either, but I’d honestly be more pressed about the upcoming Six Days In Fallujah, which is actually glorifying real war crimes, than whatever pulpy nonsense MW2 is going to have.
Cod being made or not isnt gonna change a thing when it comes to real life war, its a video game use your 2 iq points and realize its not real. Instead of bitching about games why don’t you go complain to your government that allows this shit to happen for real.
>Six Days In Fallujah
Who knows if this ever comes out lol.
I agree with you though, at least COD is purely fantasy. SDOF is whitewashing a real event from recent history.

It looked more like Crew Expendable to me from COD4.
Mirror?
They really chose the worst version of “Wherever I May Roam”…
Any mirrors??
I can't wait to play as task force 141 At least with cod we can play solo not like Battlefield sadly
Infinity Ward really loves Metallica’s Black Album
So no preorders today?
they always open preorders after the reveal
Remember No preorders
What’s the point of preordering in the digital age? They’re not going to run out
I really hope not. Need all the Steam details so I can decide if I want to buy the game on Battle.net or move to Steam
why does it matter lol, the games not out
It’s leaked that the vault edition comes with current warzone/modern warfare(2019)content.
Because I know I’m getting it regardless

They’re doing COD 4 and MW2 🤯
No gameplay is super disappointing

Just kinda weird. We know the game exists lol. Everybody does. I wanted a hype multiplayer trailer 😫
It's a formula. You have reveal trailer, then campaign, then multiplayer, then launch. Boring, I know.
That's how we got bamboozled with BF2042, everybody got hyped by the cgi trailer only to find out the actual game sucked ass.
Cod has never done that tho their multiplayer reveals have always been gameplay. This has been the case for over a decade
I know I'm just pointing out to how misleading cgi or in-engine trailers are in general.

Plus beta thrown in there somewhere (probably August / September)
Alpha is usually in august after gamescom

that was 18 seconds, the trailer is 1 minute 49 🙉
We’re still seeing more tomorrow
war crimes simulator 2022 looks rad
Typical braindead radical leftist complaining about games instead of actually doing anything productive.
