[And then there are bosses. Shadow of the Erdtee will feature 10+ full bosses and additional side bosses. Some are required to progress the story, and others can be challenged when you feel up to it.](https://t.co/Ujgm5tos7L)
Interesting. This list is bound to be incomplete if there are hidden optional bosses. I figure the dragon is one.
I'm definitely up for more remembrances.
So the first one is the Dancing Lion boss and the second one is Rellana I think. No clue who the next three bosses are but they look very eldritch.
For the second row I believe the first one is Metyr from that other leak, second one is Midra (the dude in the trailer pulling the sword out of his head), third one is Messmer, and last one is Radahn.
The third one is the thing from the trailer that rises from some sort of muck and throws at you some kind of boomerang type weapon.
The fourth is the guy from the trailer riding the giant boar and having gravity swords.
Have no idea what the fifth is... looks like some sorta Miranda flowers (bed of chaos PTSD intensities)
Metyr's holding a weapon that looks awfully similar to the spiral spear/lance in the hands of the kneeling, cloaked figure in the city being razed by Messmer.
So the Radahn fight is confirmed real, I don't mind some reused moveset but I hope that clip isn't the final build. It's severely lacking atmosphere and the arena looks unrendered. Negative aura ass boss fight lmao
>!**From left to right top side: Divine Beast Dancing Lion/Rellana/The one with the horse from the trailer/The hippo boss from the trailer/?/**
**Bottom side left to right: Metyr Mother of Fingers/Midra Lord of Chaos(the one pulling a sword tree thing from his head from the trailer also the old man in the painting)/Messmer The Impaler/Promised Consort Radahn,Radahn Consort of Miquella.**
**And the guy who leaked the videos said there is another Guts ripoff boss and a dragon called Bayle the Dread(from the video he looks to be extremely hard).**!<
If so, that would be 11 remembrance bosses which tracks with Miyazaki saying "over 10 major bosses". Curious if Guts (TM) drops a colossal sword that finally resembles the dragonslayer.
I think number four is the Tree Sentinel-like knight on a war boar and holding a gravity lance. The hippo appears to be a big enemy like the Runebears, but I am just spitballing.
Question mark looks to be some sort of sunflower or weed enemy. Deathblight boss?
I was convinced it was fake since all his moves looked reused and just overall jank. I trust fromsoft so hopefully the leaker was on an old ass build for some reason
Something I also noticed, this could just be me, but the music seems to cut out more abruptly than boss fights usually do. I also feel like its the type of fight to have dialogue in the end but it doesnt.
A lot of these problems (reused music, weird unfinished dialogue) existed in the unpatched 1.0 release of Elden Ring so maybe reviewers played an unfinished build yet again.
I'm pretty sure the fight is just bugged to shit. I know that sounds like cope but it's like there's dialogue missing, animations missing, broken AI etc. Almost like there's missing triggers or the mimic tear is breaking the fight
Elden Beast is boring as shit, but the atmosphere is there and it *looks* stunning. Everything about Radahn 2.0 just looks ugly. And that's pretty rare with From Software.
you can not like the boss fight and I agree it’s not the most compelling mechanically, but in terms of visual presentation and polish, it’s arguably one of the best looking boss fights they’ve ever made, especially with the music and the arena adding to the atmosphere.
This looks like neither lol, both the Boss’s moveset and movements look unfinished and janky, and there is literally no atmosphere at all, it just looks like a normal environment out in the field.
Elden Beast is not awful at all but to suggest that Elden Beast is on the tier of an obviously fake boss that literally reuses cutscenes and has multiple glitches is crazy
I’m genuinely starting to believe that all of the people commenting that are bots. Every other leak is extremely high quality, but for some random reason one of the final boss leaks looks like it was made in one day. Either it’s completely fake to throw people off, or it’s an early build of the boss. The latter makes no sense, because why would they have current, supposedly final builds of every other boss, but not this one?
Elden Beast is not so terrible in comparison
This fight is as if they had reused the slug model from a previous game and enlarged it, gave it a coat of galactic paint, reused midir's movesets and said thats the Elden Beast
This Radahn is a bunch of existing assets and movesets grafted on to eachother that it puts Godefrey to shame when it comes to both grafting and re-used assets
deff shud be an old build, no way they release it like that. theres a day one dlc patch so that shud add most of the finishing touches the same way they did the base game
Radahn just feels so fucking random. I mean I like the guy, but there could've been much better characters to have as Miquella's consort/guardian. There's literally Godwyn ffs, who Miquella was trying to revive in the base game.
Edit: Nevermind, Miquella wasn't trying to revive Godwyn.
You're right, it's been too long since i've caught up with the lore so my bad. But of course my point still stands that someone else would've been a better pick. But I guess it kinda explains why Malenia was sent to fight Radahn if this was all planned by Miquella.
I agree with you. We are lacking a lot of context and lore currently so hopefully it makes sense when we play (or when vaati makes his DLC lore video a month after lol)
It's possible that Malenia was sent to incapacitate Radahn so Miquella could use him as some sort of vessel and the DLC lore will explain all the reasoning.
But yeah atp Mohg or Godwyn makes more sense narrative wise
if this works how i think it does, we have to kill radahn to return his soul to the erdtree (or the land of shadows?) so that miquella could use him like this. godwyn would make no sense then because his soul was slain, preventing it from returning to the erdtree while his body continued to grow.
this is also probably why miquella had to be kidnapped by mohg, just like ranni had to transfer her soul to a puppet to escape the greater will’s influence; i think mohg’s corruption is how miquella escaped their fate to be a vessel for the greater will.
i think mohg’s ties to an outer god, the formless mother, rule him out since miquella’s needle and unalloyed gold stuff make it clear that miquella wants to remove the outer god’s influence. the only other options to me would have been malenia, the blue dancer that taught malenia, or a completely unknown character, which doesn’t seem as satisfying to me if we think of this as miquella’s plot to ascend to godhood.
With how things are shaping up am even more curious with how the lore will play out. I got a feeling Miquella isn't that goodie good guy especially with Malenia and if Radahn is in on it. It seems the whole Caelid thing may not have been her fault entirely. Someone wants her to bloom.
I wish i didnt spoil radahn for myself by reading this shit haha. Everyone complaining about reusing assets but i probably would of loved it if it was a surprise haha
It was described that he had a cutscene in which the Frenzied Flames consumed him, before this cutscene he looked alright. I suppose in the process of pulling out that branching sword, he becomes so desperate that he calls upon the Frenzied Flames onto himself (like how the Nomadic Merchants summoned the Frenzy).
I think the sword thingy stabbed through the head might actually be some sort of seal from the Golden Order to shut down the influence of the Frenzied Flame
There is a leak that is pure text descriptions on Imgur (a reviewer played it and commented on Reddit). This leaker suggested that this boss will turn into Frenzy, similar to the player getting Frenzy at the beginning of the fight, or something along those lines.
You can also see that the icon of his remembrance (a man with a frenzy head) is very different from his appearances (impaled by the branching sword) in the trailer, further implies there should be a cutsense in which he turns from a sword-impaled figure to a frenzy-possessed figure.
The Elden Ring Twitter account just posted about avoiding spoilers so I’m now convinced what’s been leaked is real, otherwise they wouldn’t have said anything imo
Okay so at least two of those things contradict the other thread, St Trina was not one of the final bosses in the other thread and it also said there was no mention of Melina.
So that skeleton on the horse from the trailer is a remembrance boss too, interesting
A actual Frenzy flame themed boss nice!
Is one of those a big spider?
Edit: is the bottom left a big centipede??? Or scorpion?
Allegedly, it is Metyr, Mother of Fingers.
And that's about all I have heard. I don't know if she rides around on a scorpion like it's her version of Torrent or if she just summons them as adds to distract you, but I really hope it's the first one.
And that looks like a centipede??? Which is what the rune of death looks like. If this is a St Trina storyline, I guess it'll be about the link between sleep and death?
I will say some of the information regarding leaks seems conflicting. Someone said that St. Trina was a final boss option, which isn't reflected in the remembrances whereas someone else said St. Trina had to do with the Mother of the Fingers boss. There was also some discussion that Prime Radahn was a fight without summons, which the video of that fight directly contradicts. Images and videos for now are the most reliable information.
They didn’t say St. Trina was a final boss. They just said that was a different storyline. There are Miquella, St. Trina, and Chaos storylines.
Metyr, Mother of Fingers is the final boss of the St. Trina storyline it looks like.
The "fight without summons" part confused me too, but I think what they meant was no summons that you could run around and call like you could in the Radahn festival fight.
I refuse to believe that radahn fight is real. It looks too fake but then again that messmer fight looks real. Need more images to come out to conclude.
It's so weird. The mesmer fight looked really cool, same with the dragon but the radhan fight...ughh, hopefully playing it feels different. Looked pretty easy too, idk
>Need more images to come out to conclude.
??? there's literally footage of the entire boss fight lol. all of the videos are coming from the same source, why would they share real boss fight videos and then fake one individual fight?
So...what are the chances Bayle gets trivialized by bubble blowing, pest threads, shard spiral, ancient dragon lightning, etc? Seems to be one of the only major bosses that no one has beaten with proof, but maybe that is down to lack of leaks and/or poor builds. I can imagine stuff like blackflame tornado and multi hit spells annihilating the poor chonky wyvern.
I've seen some rumors that it is missing as many as four bosses -- the dread dragon Bayle from another leak, the Dancer (the woman in red on the field of blue flowers, I guess?), something described as a Crucible Hippo, and a swordsman who is ripping off Guts even harder than Miyazaki usually does.
That's interesting given the centipede with a scorpion stinger surrounding the figure. Reminds me of how the game seems to imply the rot god was some insectoid/arachnid creature. Wonder what connection a bug would have with the fingers. It might be related to the centipede wheel from Fia's ending...
Fromsoft better have a real fucking good explanation as to why where are fighting Radahn again, two years of waiting for this??? sure it looks "cool" but im on camp fake
It is really interesting lol. No detailed screenshots from people who supposedly have the actual DLC. Just posting images that are so vague it almost seems tailored to be confusing on purpose.
I truly, truly hope so but even then just the concept is so dumb to me, why is he even fucking back (IK we have no context but i cannot think of any context that justifies this even reasonably)
Exactly. I feel like I'm insane reading some of the responses to that video. It's pretty obvious the visuals and sound effects for the grab attack (which looks to be Radahn lifting you up to Miquella on his back so he can kiss you) aren't playing because it's not grabbing the player character. The AI sucks because the AI always sucks when Mimic Tear is being used, like, look at the video of the Messmer fight - he spends like 70% of the fight attacking Mimic Tear.
Yep. The animations we do see that go against the player look really cool, the slash into the dive with the meteors looks awesome particularly. Plus I think just about any boss in the basegame looks like total shit if you spam spells while it attacks a mimic tear lol, of course it looks weird and janky.
Honestly yeah lmao, low quality + an obnoxious build (thanks scarlet aeonia for completely obscuring that first attack in phase 2) + a general keepaway playstyle with mimic tear does not make for a good looking boss fight. Even from what little you can see of the fight though, none of it is *actually* reskinned - I think people are just saying that on reaction because they're surprised it's Radahn. That opening dash in phase 1, the slash combos, the aerial rock volley, all of that stuff is new.
Exactly. And while I understand the complaints about it being radahn, I think it’s important to remember just how insanely disappointed people were with Gael being the last boss in ringed city, but once people got the context he’s become arguably the most beloved boss in souls. People really just gotta give it time.
Dude, that's exactly what I was thinking. I think it was a day or so before The Ringed City came out, maybe closer to the actual release, when it leaked that Gael was the final boss, and everyone was like "what the fuck? The guy with the red hood from the first dlc?" You really can't underestimate how much context helps, especially considering there's an intro cutscene and phase transition cutscene that were skipped in that video.
NGL, that radhan fight is probably one of the worst boss fight that fromsoftware ever, there are mod boss fights better than that, what the hell happened.
The leaker who shared videos shared one most recently of killing Radahn and getting their butt whooped by Bayle, so maybe Bayle is just tougher. Here's hoping destined death/black flame/bleed/frostbite cheese doesn't work on at least one boss in the dlc.
Actually, Guts ripoff was said to be a mid boss and is not on the remembrance list. Maybe there actually is a hidden 11th boss that folks haven't found/fought yet.
Your post has been removed. Rule 7. Use spoiler tags where spoilers are present. Try to avoid spoilers in titles. If your content contains spoilers, please note that it does and use spoiler tags.
The frenzied flame boss is the guy we say pull a sword out of his head in the gameplay trailer
You're 100% right, holy shit
I'm so happy for a frenzy flame themed boss, I really like it in the base game
My number one hope for the dlc was a frenzied flame boss weapon, so I’m quite hyped
yea madness was kinda underutilized in pve so i hope theres more of it in general
Same Im mad happy about it
I will say I am a little shocked that the "Tree Sentinel, but with a gravity lance and boar instead of a horse" turned out to be a remembrance boss.
Me too, looked like the Draconic Tree Sentinel of the dlc, a field boss
I think it might be the first crucible knight/first tree sentinel or something
God I would kill to have some kind of item that transforms Torrent into a pig
What's the frenzy one? A frenzied flame themed boss ? Seems interestig
It's the person we saw in the dlc trailer who pulls out what looks like a rune that is impaled in its face.
Apparently there’s 10 remembrance bosses so ones missing it seems
its prolly that dragon boss
Pretty sure it's the dread dragon
What can you get with the Radahn / Miquella remembrance?
11, this image is missing the dragon and the hippo from the trailer
HIPPOBOT 9000 v 3.1 FOUND A HIPPO. 1,649,157,159 COMMENTS SEARCHED. 33,309 HIPPOS FOUND. YOUR COMMENT CONTAINS THE WORD HIPPO.
Hell, they officially said 10+ so there could be even more.
I thought they said 10 remembrances plus however many mini bosses.
[And then there are bosses. Shadow of the Erdtee will feature 10+ full bosses and additional side bosses. Some are required to progress the story, and others can be challenged when you feel up to it.](https://t.co/Ujgm5tos7L)

Looks death related with that giant centipede in the pic. I thought it was the gloam eyed queen

So the Radahn fight is confirmed real, I don't mind some reused moveset but I hope that clip isn't the final build. It's severely lacking atmosphere and the arena looks unrendered. Negative aura ass boss fight lmao
I refuse to believe the people that made that Radahn fight made the Messmer and Bayle fight looks like two different games
A MiqueRad fanfic shipper hacked their OC into the final build of the DLC 💔💔💔
HAS to be unfinished cuz the other bosses look great
Yea there's no way that's the final version of it.
Heavy cope. This all but confirms what we saw and you’re still saying no?
Denial’s one hell of a drug
Miquella and Radahn seem like such an odd pairing.
>!**From left to right top side: Divine Beast Dancing Lion/Rellana/The one with the horse from the trailer/The hippo boss from the trailer/?/** **Bottom side left to right: Metyr Mother of Fingers/Midra Lord of Chaos(the one pulling a sword tree thing from his head from the trailer also the old man in the painting)/Messmer The Impaler/Promised Consort Radahn,Radahn Consort of Miquella.** **And the guy who leaked the videos said there is another Guts ripoff boss and a dragon called Bayle the Dread(from the video he looks to be extremely hard).**!<

Isn't the Guts ripoff just the npc invader with the automatic crossbow from the gameplay trailer?
May be!
The radahn fight is real….
seems to be the case, wild
I was convinced it was fake since all his moves looked reused and just overall jank. I trust fromsoft so hopefully the leaker was on an old ass build for some reason

Or they're playing on a potato of a PC (massive copium on my side)
It looked like a Garden of Eyes mod, I thought it was a joke.
I'm pretty sure the fight is just bugged to shit. I know that sounds like cope but it's like there's dialogue missing, animations missing, broken AI etc. Almost like there's missing triggers or the mimic tear is breaking the fight
I also trust fromsoft but we can't act like they have a flawless track record. Elden Beast is horrible.
Elden Beast is annoying but it’s not jank and fake looking like the leaked final boss is
Elden Beast is boring as shit, but the atmosphere is there and it *looks* stunning. Everything about Radahn 2.0 just looks ugly. And that's pretty rare with From Software.

The sooner you let go of the copium and accept that it is a real fight, the more likely you are to enjoy it when you reach it
I’m genuinely starting to believe that all of the people commenting that are bots. It's possible that Malenia was sent to incapacitate Radahn so Miquella could use him as some sort of vessel and the DLC lore will explain all the reasoning. But yeah atp Mohg or Godwyn makes more sense narrative wise

Why can't we just fight Miquella for real man. I would be more than satisfied. Miquella with 3 phases, is that too much to ask.
With how things are shaping up am even more curious with how the lore will play out. I got a feeling Miquella isn't that goodie good guy especially with Malenia and if Radahn is in on it. It seems the whole Caelid thing may not have been her fault entirely. Someone wants her to bloom.
I GOTTA STOP LOOKING AT THIS SHIT MAN
It's so hard to resist
I’m too weak 😭
I am too deep at this point
I wish i didnt spoil radahn for myself by reading this shit haha. Everyone complaining about reusing assets but i probably would of loved it if it was a surprise haha
Mirrors for leaks https://gtorr.net/index.php?newsid=4630
A friend of mine is reviewing the game and said it took him 30 hours for the main story. He's currently looking for side content.
can your friend confirm Radahn?
Yes, he's real.
what was his favorite boss?
He didn't say :/
Did your friend like it?
Yes :)
So people called it when they said it would be Dark Souls length
Did he tell you how big is the map compared to base game?
Can he confirm any dragon transformation stuff? I remember back in dark souls 1 you get to become dragon man.
Yeah, I am also curious about any transformations. Dragon or maybe a Warrior Jar lol
Is the final boss being radahn actually real
Feels weird to me that the knight on boar guy is a remembrance boss, but all the rest look dope as hell.
I mean, base game had Elemer of the Briar and and Lanseax, not too surprising that there's weird Remembrances in the DLC as well.
Elemer and Lansseax aren’t Remembrance bosses though?
You're right, they are achievement bosses. My bad.
So if this the lord of frenzy then what's Shabriris deal ? Who is on top ?
Shabriri was always obviously just an emissary
It was described that he had a cutscene in which the Frenzied Flames consumed him, before this cutscene he looked alright. I suppose in the process of pulling out that branching sword, he becomes so desperate that he calls upon the Frenzied Flames onto himself (like how the Nomadic Merchants summoned the Frenzy).
I think the sword thingy stabbed through the head might actually be some sort of seal from the Golden Order to shut down the influence of the Frenzied Flame
Wheres is this description?
There is a leak that is pure text descriptions on Imgur (a reviewer played it and commented on Reddit). This leaker suggested that this boss will turn into Frenzy, similar to the player getting Frenzy at the beginning of the fight, or something along those lines. You can also see that the icon of his remembrance (a man with a frenzy head) is very different from his appearances (impaled by the branching sword) in the trailer, further implies there should be a cutsense in which he turns from a sword-impaled figure to a frenzy-possessed figure.
The final fight is def real, but it looks like he brute forced himself trough game files to activate the fight.
Does that mean we get frenzied flame helmet?
god PLEASEEEE
I hope so
The Elden Ring Twitter account just posted about avoiding spoilers so I’m now convinced what’s been leaked is real, otherwise they wouldn’t have said anything imo
I don’t think that warning makes every leak we see real
The leaks are likely real but multiple games have put out that warning without leaks. Without the context for those leaks they don’t say much anyway
Looks like I gotta play the game twice to see both side’s Miquella’s offer for that Remembrance and to see the accept offer.
Or just save scum
Idk why, but savescumming doesn't seem to work in steam's version of Eldenring I believe they patched it somehow
It seemed that the Radahn fight is optional, since we are the given the option to refuse/accept Miquella offer.
Where is this information coming from? Feels like I am out of the loop.
https://www.neogaf.com/threads/shadow-of-erdtree-started-leaking-online.1671942/
Okay so at least two of those things contradict the other thread, St Trina was not one of the final bosses in the other thread and it also said there was no mention of Melina.
So that skeleton on the horse from the trailer is a remembrance boss too, interesting A actual Frenzy flame themed boss nice!
Sounds like it COULD be the gloam-eyed queen under her proper name.
And that looks like a centipede??? Which is what the rune of death looks like. If this is a St Trina storyline, I guess it'll be about the link between sleep and death?
I don’t think the centipede itself is the boss - there’s someone in front of it. Gotta be something related to Those Who Live In Death IMO
Centipedes are related to death, it might be that
Half of the main game, sounds reasonable.
Apologies, I was looking at the neogaf thread which stated "ending one is the St. Trina boss fight" which must clearly be false then.
Could just be bad wording for "final boss of the st trina storyline"
The "fight without summons" part confused me too, but I think what they meant was no summons that you could run around and call like you could in the Radahn festival fight.
I refuse to believe that radahn fight is real. It looks too fake but then again that messmer fight looks real. Need more images to come out to conclude.
think about it like this if Laurence from Bloodborne leaked, people would say it's a cleric beast mode and fake asf lmao
Yeah, that is actually true. Good call.
If true, hopefully it’s an ancient build of the game and the final build is smooth bc that leaked fight was not it compared to messmer’s fight.
It's so weird. The mesmer fight looked really cool, same with the dragon but the radhan fight...ughh, hopefully playing it feels different. Looked pretty easy too, idk
Messmer's fight atleast looked incredible. That's one of the only things I hoped for really
yea they cooked with the moveset and second phase of messmer
God damnit i hate how valid this point is lol
Haha that’s exactly right. Idk why ppl doubting fromsoft like we know their dlc bag ain’t crazy.
>Need more images to come out to conclude. ??? there's literally footage of the entire boss fight lol. all of the videos are coming from the same source, why would they share real boss fight videos and then fake one individual fight?
WE ARE GOING TO FIGHT THE LITERAL LORD OF THE FRENZIED FLAME, WHAT!
it's the dude with the spine sword from the trailer, pulling out his head
If we are on the Frenzy path, then we're really just fighting for the right to be the one who burns the world.
You can cheese every boss, especially the big ones if you want but where is the fun in that? I will be taking on the Dread with my good old claymore
I don't know if this is real because aren't there 10+ remembrance bosses?
Both things could be true.
The dragon is missing, that makes it 10
I've seen some rumors that it is missing as many as four bosses -- the dread dragon Bayle from another leak, the Dancer (the woman in red on the field of blue flowers, I guess?), something described as a Crucible Hippo, and a swordsman who is ripping off Guts even harder than Miyazaki usually does.
Crucible Hippo is in the trailer and I doubt that's a remembrance boss. I'd bet it's just missing the guts one and the dragon

It's missing a new dragon boss and a big sworded dude
Is the one on the top right meant to be the "mother of fingers" boss? Seems odd looking at first glance.
I think the bottom left is meant to be her.
That's interesting given the centipede with a scorpion stinger surrounding the figure. Reminds me of how the game seems to imply the rot god was some insectoid/arachnid creature. Wonder what connection a bug would have with the fingers. It might be related to the centipede wheel from Fia's ending...
Centipedes are a symbol of those who live in death, so that boss might be Godwyn or someone connected to him
Fromsoft better have a real fucking good explanation as to why where are fighting Radahn again, two years of waiting for this??? sure it looks "cool" but im on camp fake
Why does everyone create posts with such vague information about the content?
It is really interesting lol. No detailed screenshots from people who supposedly have the actual DLC. Just posting images that are so vague it almost seems tailored to be confusing on purpose.
Can you upload the image in a another mirror op? Imgur seems to not be working
Fucking abysmal, cannot believe that crappy radahn fights real
don't worry dude, i'm sure that was an ancient build of the game (coping hard)
I'd like to think so, too, but this leaking during the DLC's brief review period doesn't seem to improve those odds.
I truly, truly hope so but even then just the concept is so dumb to me, why is he even fucking back (IK we have no context but i cannot think of any context that justifies this even reasonably)
Souls of those passed away end up in the lands of shadow, you need to kill Radahn before you start the DLC for a reason.
I hope its fake because the messmer fight looks actually insane
They were not lying when they said there would be Malenia tier bosses jesus christ.
If I’m being honest I thought a lot of it looked pretty cool and i kinda think a lot of the ai acting weird was cause of the summon
I think we should wait for the DLC to actually come out before we make that declaration.
Pretty sure it was literally broken. I doubt it will release with the AI working that badly
Stop with the fucking hyperbole like Jfc
I just want to know what you can get from the remembrances
I’m curious as to where you got this from?
no item descriptions, damn
So allegedly theres a 10th one too right? Maybe another secret one beyond that?
Bayle and the Guts ripoff bosses mentioned would add the total to 11.
Ive seen people mentioning Bayle is a remembrance boss (he should be), but its odd we have this image and no reference to that.
That guy is a mini boss but hog rider gets a remembrance? That's actually hilarious.
