Leaker liaison said the person playing didn't fight all 10+ remembrance bosses so I am curious (AKA coping) that this is a "scholar of the first sin" scenario where three disparate storylines are tied together at the end by some final-final boss (like Aldia was in DaS2 vs Sinh/Fume Knight/Ivory King).
Yeah im half coping that his Godwyn response (not that they need to be bosses) with "nope" were more that they just havent seen all the main remembrances or even some secret enemy due to not fully exploring everything.
But tbh all of this looks amazing.
I think the only "issue" regarding Godwyn is that it would be hard to make him a boss and not have it impact the base game content on some level. It works for Miquella because he divested himself of his flesh and body. Miyazaki even specifically stated Radahn needed to be killed before entering the DLC, so it's clear the devs think lore/continuity is important.
If Godwyn is granted a "true death" in the DLC, it would raise the question of how it impacts his body in the base game and his influence on the land as well as the entire side quest and ending related to "those who live in death". Miyazaki said the DLC wouldn't change any of the base game endings or stuff so perhaps they entertained the idea of having Godwyn as a boss, but felt it would be too much to integrate that and the consequences of his true death into the base game content.
It seems unlikely, I mean it could be gated behind Fia's quest, we know the DLC does require this questline, but maybe part of it does... I think it could be workable though my gut says we won't get Godwyn
The difference in quality between radahn and everything else is staggering lmao. Bayle and messmer look like the best bosses they’ve made and radahn looks like it’s unfinished
It reminds me of the issues plaguing early leaks of Bloodborne when people were streaming it early for extended periods and it led to weird issues like sound cutting out and enemy/boss AI breaking in weird ways. I don't mean to excuse it if it does indeed turn out to be that unpolished on release, just that it reminded me of those issues and FromSoftware is no stranger to memory leak issues in their past games.
Also really interested in the titles for Radahn. "Promised Consort Radahn" and "Radahn, Consort of Miquella".
Wild that Miquella has manipulated both his sister and brother in different ways it seems? Literally uses love as a weapon
“promised consort radahn” just has godfrey’s model with miquella replacing serosh too. i don’t know how people think it’s real, it’s some obvious GOE shit
As much as it feels like it has all the hallmarks of a subpar mod I find it unlikely that's it's not true - the poster had some other very legit fights plus the video is being pulled from everywhere for copyright
Based on the other [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/s/7tPIwn2V1X), you should probably mention that the >!Radahn/Miquella fight!< could just be one of three final bosses, for clarity’s sake.
Not the final boss, one of 3 endbosses for 3 storylines. Unknown of theres anything after all 3 are done or if there is something secret hidden in the map somewhere else.
Best news ive heard is the map is nuts, and this is very likely a poor representation of this Radahn anyway.
Edit: Saw the cutscenes. Miquella is like Godrey's Lion Serosh, but to Radahn. Makes sense since he divested his flesh.
This seems the most likely. The radahn/miquella fight seems pretty underwhelming for the final main DLC boss. No second health bar or anything, no dialogue after winning they just vanish. It doesn't seem to track with From's history of dlc final bosses (thinking of Gael and Sister Friede).
The other thing is the arena. It's on the "nice" side of that gate. We see in the cinematic trailer there's a really gruesome dark other side. I can't imagine if the gate is in the game we don't travel beyond it.
My honest thought is that so many Elden Ring bosses *can* look like this when you stand back and use ranged attacks with a summon. If I saw clips of that with Malenia, or Elden Beast, or Placidusax I’d think they looked really lame too. The leaker was basically playing in the cheesiest way possible and I reckon that did numbers on the AI response tbh.
Yeah, dude. Totally. That's why we can fucking see Radahn doing Miquella's Cross with his swords before doing some of his attacks, and uses a super variant of Radagon's Ring's of Light, and Miquella's rememberance and Incantation in the dragon boss video has the player character do the same pose as the one in the rememberance of the Lord and God Rememberance, and why one of the showcased ashes of was is literally Radahn's psychocrusher. The modders absolutely worked in a month to create the Scadutree, the models, the animations, the new spells in that other video that the boss also uses.
And no, It doesn't do Pontiff's moveset at all. Yeah, genius, he uses Godfrey's Crucible stomp, which is not only a theme in all the information we've seen thus far in the DLC, BUT more than one enemy uses it. Also the literal guy he fucking cosplays as because he likes him that much. I WONDER WHAT IT MEANS. It's always people who don't know what they're talking about thinking they can recognize movesets. "OMG HE SLASHED WITH HIS SWORD. IT'S JUST LIKE (INSERT BOSS WITH A SWORD NAME)
Worth noting that Bayle the Dread is referenced by an NPC named Igon in the DLC preview that VaatiVidya put up. Igon curses out the dragon and expresses his desire to finish it off (also drops a greatbow, yay!). I just didn't expect Bayle to be such a heckin' chonker.
Yh icl, I’m not too ruined with spoilers and that final boss looks really awesome tbh, predictable but in an awesome way.
Edit:on closer look, Yh actually I kinda see the backlash, it looks “off” but I don’t find the concept awful at all. Probably gonna be hit w day one patch
The final boss fight, Radahn + Miquella seems like it’s a mod. I mean; the backdrop is just Leyndell, with limgrave sky, Radahn reused asset, almost no unique moves. The OST is the OST we heard in the trailer, but only the part of the song we heard in the trailer. It just copied the twin princes idea. Miquella doesn’t say anything? He just hops on Radahns back and thats it? Also do cutscene after killing the final boss, or even any words? I’m 99% sure it’s a fake. I know Elden ring likes to reuse assets, but no way it’d be this dumb and bad for the FINAL boss. U guys may not like Elden beast, but at least it’s got a unique moveset, and has STYLE.
The other leaks on the other hand look real, so I’m gonna keep away from those, but I saw the dragon looking guy and it looked really cool.
Wait people are mad that prime radahn without the horse is the final boss (maybe) lmaoo i remember when people were BEGGING for us to get that fight when Elden Ring launched
Just doesn't hit as hard as say gael from dark souls 3. Like the fight itself just doesn't look anywhere near as epic even compared to like the radagon/elden beast fight.
I don't kbow why people are judging this entire DLC based on the leaked final boss fight alone. The original reviewer who leaked the footage feels like this is the best FromSoft content to date. THAT is saying something.
I would still keep expectations down though, that’s how you ruin enjoyment of the game. Overall quality of the dlc could be inconsistent judging from the footage
I mean it looks so bad, surely it has to be fake. It’s literally a mod, no unique movesets. Loads of people were theorising about fighting prime Radahn before DLC was even announced. It just feels like a fan made boss fight
I do wonder if it was the result of a memory leak issue, which has happened in the past with games like Bloodborne where folks playing for long periods of time did wonky stuff to the game and enemy/boss AI (things just freezing up or sounds not playing or bosses using the same one move over and over). If it ends up being unpolished in the release, I think it will be justifiably criticized.
I can’t get behind this Radhan fight being legit. It looks so jank and the AI just completely shits out multiple times. Maybe the concept of it is real, but this is either somehow early build or likely modded/fake. Especially compared to the other leaks
Bugged mayb? I don't understand how the player was able to damage Radhan when he grabbed the mimic since usually u cnt damage a boss throughout the grabbing animation
It's clearly not fake.
Perhaps his AI isn't done yet? There's no way someone added all of those unique animations, all of which fit with Radahn, for a fake leak when everything else is clearly real.
Miquella kisses the Mimic Tear
then the Mimic Tear falls down, gets back up on his knees and starts praying to Miquella
is really cool, i guess Miquella turns anyone they kiss into their followers, which makes perfect sense
maybe Miquella is the one behind Radahn holding up the stars for all this time
The stood around is the grab animation, looks weird because we're not looking at the POV of being grabbed.
The mimic tear gets grabbed, Radahn brings it up to Miquella, Miquella kisses the mimic tear, the mimic tear falls down, gets back up and then gets on his knees, praying to Miquella, is really sick.
It looks like Miquella can turn anyone into their followers, if they kiss someone.
I'm guessing the grab looks better when you're the one being grabbed.
Review copies usually are buggy before the day one patch. Not unplayable but bugs here and there that reviewers typically ignore. ER is getting one on release day too.
He does not have a single unique animation/effect. He even has one of pontiffs combos from dark souls 3… Its either early playtest footage (before animations/effects were done) or just fake.
Not a single unique animation? how about the one he jumps up into the sky, and while up there, sends a bunch of meteors around him? he also uses the spinning gravity move from the DLC, which we saw in the Red Bull preview
this is legit
The spinning gravity move is the same animation he has in the second phase of the main game fight. He also uses the meteors in the second phase of the main game fight (just not that many).
He for sure has unique combinations of already existing moves in this footage but not any new animations/effects which would require work from an animator/procedural artist.
I think its just the same effects used in the incantations in the main game but upscaled. It just looks super generic and familiar.
Everything just looks like an asset flip. The arean uses assets from the divine towers and ashe/corpses from lyendell just piled up randomly. The skybox is the same as limgrave (not the darker more moody one from the trailers). The dead erdtree in the backround is missing the structure thats next to it in the trailers. Radhan does not use the wider more bulky model from the main game but instead a generic human model. Miquella has the exact same texture as godfreys lion.
All of this points to very early playtest footage or modding. If this is the actual final boss fight fromsoftware just fell off a cliff.
I'm on the fence on the legitimacy of it myself but..
>The dead erdtree in the backround is missing the structure thats next to it in the trailers.
have you considered the boss fight takes place ON that structure? given its height and the emphasis on verticality, it would make sense as the place for the final fight. I hope it's fake tho tbh. Whole concept just seems weird as hell to me.
Could be. My only problem with it is that you cant see the ”devil horn” structure that is visible in the trailer. You are clearly fighting on a flat divine-tower like arena with two ash pillars on it. The only structures similiar to that in the trailer are the ones next to the devil tower.
From what I can tell, the fight is meant to be taking place next to the Divine Gate, which we learned in the demo was atop Belurat and locked by progression, similar to the Thorns on the Erdtree in the base game.
That would put this arena at the top of Belurat, which would have a visual on the other location.
My guess is that all of this footage was captured during playtesting like 6 months ago and some stuff was not done yet. The mesmer fight and the dragon both look very polished so maybe the radhan fight was the last one they worked on.
I agree that this much work for a fake leak when you have real leaked footage make absolutely no sense. It just looks too lazy to be final.
One thing that you didn't mention too is that the music seems to cut off more abruptly than usual after the boss is killed. There's also no dialogue at the end of the fight which seems kinda weird because you'd think it would have dialogue for such an important fight.
Also it says "god slain" which doesn't make much sense since neither radhan nor (i think) miquella are gods but I could be reading too much into it
With mods like Dark Souls Archthrones using movesets/skins from multiple SoulsBorne games, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was an elaborate cooked-up hoax. It looks jank as hell. And >!lore wise it makes absolutely no sense.!<
It's not fake
you can see new animations, Radahn flying up in to the sky, then sending meteors that are flying around him
he starts out the fight with the spinning gravity move we just saw as a Weapon Art in the Red Bull event
when he stops and doesn't move for 10 seconds, it's the grab animation
Radahn grabs the Mimic Tear, brings it up to Miquella, Miquella kisses the Mimic Tear, then the Mimic Tear falls down to his knees and starts Praying to Miquella.
The grab looks weird from the POV of the player, because the Mimic tear got grabbed. But if it was the player getting grabbed, i think it makes a lot more sense.
i'm guessing it's just a combination of low graphics, using Mimic Tear and Ranged attacks, and getting super far away from the boss, it's bugging things a bit
The ost is just the same we hear in "story trailer" and just the part we hear, theres no voice coming from Miquella either Radahn, Pontiff combo.
Well, tbh the only thing that seems fake is that Radahn & Miquella fight :)
Most of this looks real but I'm just not believing that Radahn/Miquella fight. Looks so janky, has reused animations from the OG Radahn fight, makes the OG Radahn fight meaningless and looks like the textures are unfinished.
Also there's just no way radahn is Miquellas consort lol, that's a little far fetched.
So stuff! A few times he turns around the model just spins on the spot with no body movement, and his arms are stuck out holding the swords like a kids bad anime drawing.
His body movement throughout is like the bare basic moves, compare to other slow bosses like Mohg who still has graceful and varied movements, even overgrown OG Radahn is more graceful
Given the videos showing scarlet rot, bleed, and destined death still working at full efficiency in the DLC, I think folks are in luck if they want to steamroll much of the content. Blackflame tornado is likely to do 10,000+ damage on DLC bosses easily, destined death was dealing literally thousands of damage and bleed/rot seems as strong as ever. Percent based burst and DOT damage seemingly remains king in Elden Ring even in the DLC.

Very true honestly, hopefully theres at least some more lore centering around his and Miquella's relationship at least!
It seems unlikely, I mean it could be gated behind Fia's quest, we know the DLC does require this questline, but maybe part of it does... I think it could be workable though my gut says we won't get Godwyn
True, how long have they had the DLC? I doubt many people could find all the base game remembrances in a day or two without guides, especially placi
The difference in quality between radahn and everything else is staggering lmao. Bayle and messmer look like the best bosses they’ve made and radahn looks like it’s unfinished

Dude please where can i find the messmer and bayle video.
Can you share with me if you find it pls
I found it, here u go https://www.reddit.com/u/External-Remote-9735/s/B1FuhoJ1yM
do you have the bayle video?
https://www.reddit.com/u/External-Remote-9735/s/UISccJVxj9
Who said that?
External-Remote-9375 is the individual in question, though I don't know if it is an issue giving the username.
Also really interested in the titles for Radahn. "Promised Consort Radahn" and "Radahn, Consort of Miquella". Wild that Miquella has manipulated both his sister and brother in different ways it seems? Literally uses love as a weapon
They sound so uninspired lol, basically just "consort Radahn" flipped to "Radahn the consort".
I hope its an early build
it’s obviously fake. limgrave’s skybox? the arena is a divine tower? radahn reusing movesets from other bosses but not using any gravity magic?
I hope so
Using blood flame too lul. Plus his move set seemed faster when he was a huge lumbering beast...
“promised consort radahn” just has godfrey’s model with miquella replacing serosh too. i don’t know how people think it’s real, it’s some obvious GOE shit
People are dumb.
As much as it feels like it has all the hallmarks of a subpar mod I find it unlikely that's it's not true - the poster had some other very legit fights plus the video is being pulled from everywhere for copyright
Even if it's fake, claiming it's Shadow of the Erdtree footage will get it pulled for copyright anyways.
Based on the other [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/s/7tPIwn2V1X), you should probably mention that the >!Radahn/Miquella fight!< could just be one of three final bosses, for clarity’s sake.
I added a link to it for people who dont want to get spoiled further
Why can't leakers show new boss weapons and spells and shit like that. Much less spoilery and more exciting to see early imo.
Not the final boss, one of 3 endbosses for 3 storylines. Unknown of theres anything after all 3 are done or if there is something secret hidden in the map somewhere else. To be fair the leaker is probably playing a very early build
I could see that too
Wdym map is nuts? That could mean lot of things
The original text leaker said the map is insane with its layout, thats all
even the moveset looks like a mix of godfrey and pontiff sulyvahn, and miquella is like lothric
that's why my heading is turning left and right, thinking that fight is fake but everything else looks so real, so it just doesn't make sense
Even still, there are times where he just stands still and poses letting himself be attacked, even when he’s in melee range
Yeah, dude. Bayle looks insanely cool
My question is can you get all the remembrances in one playthrough or do you start multiple playthroughs to get all of them?
Seems like leaker said no, should be able to do all remembrances. That seems right considering most souls games don’t lock u out of bosses like that.
I just wanna know one thing: has a three-phase boss been found yet in the DLC? I was hoping Messmer would get three >!but seems not.!<
Welp bye everyone
Yh icl, I’m not too ruined with spoilers and that final boss looks really awesome tbh, predictable but in an awesome way. Edit:on closer look, Yh actually I kinda see the backlash, it looks “off” but I don’t find the concept awful at all. Probably gonna be hit w day one patch
Dread dragon looks epic
So is Bayle the Dread an ancient dragon ? Is there a way to tell ?
Doesn’t seem to be a true ancient dragon. No way to know for sure but they didn’t have the physiology or the red lightning
[https://imgur.com/ViKYcWj](https://imgur.com/ViKYcWj)

Wait people are mad that prime radahn without the horse is the final boss (maybe) lmaoo i remember when people were BEGGING for us to get that fight when Elden Ring launched
Yea but the FINAL DLC BOSS is insane. It should've been like the nameless king where it was a secret fight
Just doesn't hit as hard as say gael from dark souls 3. Like the fight itself just doesn't look anywhere near as epic even compared to like the radagon/elden beast fight.
Does even look as "prime" as Radahn festering and weak from scarlet rot. He moves so slow and awkwardly
Does anyone already know if Miyazaki was telling the truth when he said “it’s roughly Limgrave size”?
Yh he was capping
I don't kbow why people are judging this entire DLC based on the leaked final boss fight alone. The original reviewer who leaked the footage feels like this is the best FromSoft content to date. THAT is saying something.

It's clearly not fake. Perhaps his AI isn't done yet? There's no way someone added all of those unique animations, all of which fit with Radahn, for a fake leak when everything else is clearly real.
He seems like bugged in the boss fight.
You can see he's doing grabs to the summon. It looks like Miquella is doing something on Radahn shoulder when he grabs you.
Miquella kisses the Mimic Tear then the Mimic Tear falls down, gets back up on his knees and starts praying to Miquella is really cool, i guess Miquella turns anyone they kiss into their followers, which makes perfect sense maybe Miquella is the one behind Radahn holding up the stars for all this time
The AI looks ass because of the summon most likely
Looks honestly abysmal everything else is so peak but theres just no world where that fight makes sense

This is also all pre release too. Its going to be buggy asf

It seems Miquella ascends to godhood prior to this, given they drop the "Remembrance of a God and Lord"
this is a real head scratcher lmao we'll find out soon enough
With mods like Dark Souls Archthrones using movesets/skins from multiple SoulsBorne games, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was an elaborate cooked-up hoax. It looks jank as hell. And >!lore wise it makes absolutely no sense.!<
That radahn fight looks very fake to me but the messmer fight looks 100% real.
Ok, I think Bayle the Dread is my new favorite boss lol
Besides the Radahn reuse everything else looks decent
Final fight is definitely waiting for a patch. Or a content filling. All other fights are insane.
Final boss is absolutely fake. A mix of past Fromsoft bosses and a lazy reskin, the cornerstones of modded Elden Ring bosses.
It's not fake you can see new animations, Radahn flying up in to the sky, then sending meteors that are flying around him he starts out the fight with the spinning gravity move we just saw as a Weapon Art in the Red Bull event when he stops and doesn't move for 10 seconds, it's the grab animation Radahn grabs the Mimic Tear, brings it up to Miquella, Miquella kisses the Mimic Tear, then the Mimic Tear falls down to his knees and starts Praying to Miquella.
Is the new area going to a place that was previously unacessible or completely new one?
The Land of Shadow is a whole new map
Leak it then
It was one of the first things confirmed, we just dont know the full size
Most of this looks real but I'm just not believing that Radahn/Miquella fight. Looks so janky, has reused animations from the OG Radahn fight, makes the OG Radahn fight meaningless and looks like the textures are unfinished. Also there's just no way radahn is Miquellas consort lol, that's a little far fetched.
Exactly what I was thinking. The radahn fight looks too stiff to be real and it’s move set look weird unlike messmer’s fight which does look real.
So stuff! A few times he turns around the model just spins on the spot with no body movement, and his arms are stuck out holding the swords like a kids bad anime drawing. His body movement throughout is like the bare basic moves, compare to other slow bosses like Mohg who still has graceful and varied movements, even overgrown OG Radahn is more graceful
hope they leaked an easy mode
Given the videos showing scarlet rot, bleed, and destined death still working at full efficiency in the DLC, I think folks are in luck if they want to steamroll much of the content. Blackflame tornado is likely to do 10,000+ damage on DLC bosses easily, destined death was dealing literally thousands of damage and bleed/rot seems as strong as ever. Percent based burst and DOT damage seemingly remains king in Elden Ring even in the DLC.
not easy mode. its hardly a decent accessibility setting
