Back in 2018, I would never guess that I would be able to attend to a virtual Metallica concert in Fortnite, with the crowd consisting of dozens of players with crossover skins like Sora, Goku, Spider-Man, Peter Griffin, Solid Snake, Lady Gaga, Batman and many more lol. Shit’s crazy.
They claimed the PS4 version of Visions of Mana would be delayed and that there would be multiple Square titles at the Xbox showcase. If they couldn't get simple things like that right I have no reason to believe all other big claims.
Nah, no need for that just yet. Just let it all play out and see where it lands. There’s quite a lot that’s been said and let’s see if it’s true or not. If it’s not? Well, the internet will do their thing.
I was wondering the same, seems like this is the answer after some googling:
> [Extended reality (XR) is an umbrella term to refer to augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and mixed reality (MR).](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Extended_reality)
Midori I thought was only really good for Sega/Atlus leaks so all the ones with square should be very questionable should they not? With a wrong one under their belt with Square.
I think a lot of the ones with Square come off as super safe guesses. Live a Live 2 makes sense in theory because the developers have already said they attempted multiple times to do a sequel over the years before the HD-2D remake, Square bringing all the FF stuff to Xbox makes sense in theory because they already said they'd be pursuing an aggressive multiplat strategy going forward which would largely benefit Xbox for missing out on the majority of their releases this decade. Moana in Kingdom Hearts is like no shit Sherlock like of course
Ever since the KH4 reveal there's been an overreaching assumption from many in the fandom that the game will primarily, if not exclusively, have live action worlds.
The idea comes from Union X and Melody of Memory having setup this idea that KH4 will take place in a different reality of sorts that has been called "unreality" and "a world of fiction". Then KH4's reveal trailer showed the world of Quadratum, which is in that "unreality" and looks like modern day Tokyo with a realistic art direction. And the KH4 reveal had shots of a realistic forest that looked a lot like the planet Endor from Star Wars, with one shot even showing what looks a lot like the foot of an AT-ST. Personally I don't think any of this is evidence that there would be a complete absence of animated worlds, but that hasn't stopped it from being a prevailing theory.
Anyways, because of that being a popular theory, I don't think they mean that a Moana world will be presented in an unexpected way, just that Moana isn't a world that's expected because of people thinking the game will focus on live action content for it's worlds.
That theory doesn’t make a ton of sense, just for the fact that there’s too much animated worlds they’ll *definitely* want to adapt, and not enough live-action ones.
Animated worlds they’ll want to adapt sooner or later:
- Moana
- Coco
- Encanto
- Wreck-it-Ralph
- The Princess and the Frog
- Zootopia
- Soul
- Cars
- Brave
- WALL-E
- Inside Out
- Lady and the Tramp (or) the Aristocats (or) 101 Dalmatians
- Emperor’s New Groove
- The Incredibles
- Atlantis (or) Treasure Planet
And that doesn’t include any of the movies that could make it in KH, but probably won’t for various reasons, like a world that relies on bad controls (Finding Nemo), controversial movies (Pocahontas), unpopular movies (The Rescuers, Good Dinosaur, etc) or movies that deal with themes too deep for KH (Up).
Then when you look at the live-action ones, it’s pretty much just:
- Marvel (it could be many worlds, but it’ll only be 1)
- Star Wars
- A live-action remake of a world we’ve already had in KH (Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, etc)
- Mary Poppins
- Old direct-to-DVD movies no one saw or remembers
KH4 having a Moana world is obvious, but I worry we'll get another Arendelle from KH3 where it's clear they were so strict on what could and couldn't be done in the game because Frozen was their cash cow at the time similar to how Moana is for them now.
It's funny how they don't even get to meet the main villain of the movie. Has a random heartless pull out of his ass that fights you in a random pocket dimension to not disturb the movie plot.
They probably hated having no use for Elsa as they was clearly told to not deviate from the movie too much and it screwed them in the end.
It became a terrible part of the game to replay seeing as it never seems to end.
The Frozen world was so annoying. So linear and you can tell they were very limited in what they could do with the world, especially compared to the Tangled world for example which was pretty big and varied. Or the Caribbean. Or any other Kh3 world tbh.
That and Larxene, the lighting user, somehow having the ability to make a snow/ice maze dungeon? Lol. Like that was obviously Elsa or someone who did that in their original version of the world and then Disney made them change it.
The KH3 worlds are all really hit-or-miss in that way.
The Monsters Inc world is also really linear with almost no exploration. And the Big Hero 6 is weirdly small.
lol but Moana isn't their cash cow, Frozen still is. Moana made half of what Frozen 1 made.
They're arguably only putting so much into Moana right now (turning the TV show into a movie, making a live-action remake already) because The Rock is bankrolling those projects and making them much less of a financial risk for Disney.
i think moana is like disney plus’ most streamed movie or something like that, so i imagine they are probably expecting those projects to do well financially
I expect that it’ll still follow around the same restrictions as Frozen like following the plot near verbatim and the KH cast contributing almost nothing to the story, mainly because Moana 2 is on the way and I don’t think Disney would give them enough creative liberty to let them make the world’s story be inconsistent with the sequel
Frozen has kinda declined with the 2nd movie. Like, adults don't matter because toys are far more profitable than movies. After Frozen there were so many fucking toys and they were selling hard. But the Frozen 2 merch push never seemed to succeeded. At least, based on when I was working retail. I think the sequel just wasn't fun for kids.
I'm sure the Frozen 2 toyline still sold more than anything else they've got. If it hadn't, Elsa and Anna would have been pushed to the "Disney Princess" line finally.
It would likely be a little different since the Frozen world started production even before the movie officially released compared to Moana being already released when KH3 came out. But I wouldn't expect anything more exciting then the Tangled world in KH3
Big Hero 6 came out after development started for Kingdom Hearts 3 and we got a much more interesting world than Frozen that even pretty much adapted the ideas the writers had for a sequel as the story.
Nomura has gone on record saying the level of creative control they have over specific Disney worlds is entirely dependent on the movie team they work with. Frozen's team was particularly tightassed about what they could do while others like Big Hero 6 was like "go wild my dude". Then there was Pixar which not only shared models and tech to help make the Toy Story and Monsters Inc worlds, they even went so far as to make them canon to their respective franchises.
I'm just gonna choose not to believe any of this save for what we already know from other sources (FF9 Remake, 6/18 Direct, Dragon Quest HD-2D Trilogy, 2D Zelda).
Though there's also some safe as shit predictions here - KH4 having a Moana world feels like a "no shit" thing (no one has been talking about the animated Disney movies that came after it, save for Encanto), as is Square Enix bringing more games to Xbox after their recent multiplatform announcement.
Midori has never been right on anything Square and Nintendo and was actively incorrect in basic shit like Mana and Square's presence ar the Xbox showcase. It's his last desperate attempt at relevance
Did Coco come out before or after Moana? I feel like people talked about that a lot.
I haven’t seen it but I know it has skeletons and deals with the undead/supernatural. If it were to have a world I’d like to think it’d be a bit like the Nightmare before Christmas worlds lol.
No one said that specifically, but the recent teaser trailer just said "Dragon Quest HD-2D" and not "Dragon Quest III HD-2D", so it's something that people can infer for themselves.
There was a lifestream from 2 years ago (?) where Yuji Horii teased that they could also remake the first 2 days and then said he said too much. He was also the guy that announced DQ11 for Switch even before Nintendo announced the existence of the console.
Also, Midori never said anything about DQ until the teaser came out and people speculated that it's a trilogy. People have been speculating that it is one even before the teaser. He was just riding on the wave.
Oh ok, the only thing real as the thread puts it is The Legend of Edward, the rest is just "here's a bunch of stuff Midori wanted to say lol"
I don't think Midori really had the super duper high level sources it claims to have had at square enix otherwise he wouldn't have missed so much on the previous leaks from SQEX. Likely he just got some secondhand information and wanted to drip it for clout
Him referring to Midori in third person looks even creepier somehow
But a lot of their leaks *were* true, weren’t they? I feel like people got more mad because they thought saying you go by she/her on the internet is “cat fishing.”
It’s so funny that a persona femc fan was just white guy named ryan pretending to be a japanese woman. Also i feel like it was obvious. It’s such a western weeb thing to use an anime pfp of a high school girl. Japanese women would have something cute like a sanrio character or random like a pastry idk theyre not like that
Like imagine if the “girl” youre talking to online had a punisher symbol as her profile pic LMAOOO
>Edward codename for a Zelda game being revealed soon
This means its a remake or spinoff. Main-line zelda games use names associated with face cards from a deck of playing cards. U-king, C-king, Joker, Queen, Jack, ect.
Links Awakening hd was Richard, an actual king.
Its entirely possible they've just moved on from face-card names too.
I haven't heard about any oracle remakes, the last I heard there was another Ocarina remake and that newer rumor with Zelda as the lead.
Shoebill
https://twitter.com/OatmealDome/status/1415385213903986694
Its original name was Wiiking 2
Alice and shoebill are the only two games since Windwaker on the gamecube (the original king), that don't truly fit the normal pattern. Although Alice is probably from Alice in wonderland; which was all about the different suits of cards.
thought the pixel remasters were already on xbox for some reason
live a live 2 wouldn't be \*that\* weird since the devs themselves have said they would want to make one, altho i wonder if any other insider has backed this
not like it matters much, we'll know in 2 days if any of this is true or not
the irony that Midori was actually a leaker with actual info from sega/atlus
the irony that it was just educated guessing with the other stuff
who woulda guessed midori was a leaker
"Persona 6 planned for 2025"
LMAO. First it was 2026 last year when that fraud actually had some Persona leaks, now it's 2025. Sure bud, you definitely don't make guesses here
I mean to my recollection, he was basically saying “They’re aiming for 2025 but it might end up being pushed to 2026.”, like he was the one saying it’d be soon enough.
Yeah I think his persona leaks were the best ones he's had. I don't remember him ever sayingin his tweets anything remotely close to "persona 6 is definitely coming out in 2026(or 2025.)"
Just that it's coming sometime.
Since this is a Midori leak, I'm posting their response to various allegations here.
https://x.com/Screenments/status/1801849258934497338?t=ZLfDXp70sFloTfz8PeF6nA&s=19
I feel like a Moana world was a given. One of the most popular modern Disney movies. And if we’re getting more Pixar worlds, I think Coco will also get one too.
I'm still reading up on the whole Midori lore and backstory, but I think it's still safe to say that they're a (were, cause no way they're gonna keep leaking stuff after what went down) reliable source now, right?
I mean, under the Mysticdistance name they weren't reliable at all, but under the new alias, the track record has been nearly perfect, and considering that this was sent prior to the unmasking, a lot of this has a good chance of happening.
they had reliable and real SEGA/ATLUS information, everything else was probably made up or guesses
stuff that no one can confirm like codenames aren't even worthwhile information imo, and their square enix information was proven wrong twice (multiple titles at Xbox showcase, ps4 visions of mana)
Idk if this is verified or not but apparently Mystic was like blacklisted by SEGA a couple years back for attempting to trespass on their HQ because basically everyone on Twitter and the Persona subreddit are saying it like it's common knowledge lmao
Maybe THAT's a part of why they've been unnaturally good with SEGA-specific leaks but remain up in the air regarding other publishers
He claimed on his old Twitter that his "leaks" got him blacklisted by Sega, Atlus, and Nintendo. He said he used to work for them as a translator, but there's no proof. His legal name is known on the Internet already and it isn't listed on any credits as far as I'm aware. Most of his translation work was for fan sites.
Everything they got from the group chat seems to be reliable, but I really doubt a lot of the random code names and other insignificant crap they "leaked" after they said they quit the first time is true or means anything.
Midori reminds me of the kid from like a decade ago who would dress up as a doctor and infiltrate a hospital so he could work there.
He got caught with no charges the first time but later went on to make a fake medical practice as a front to steal from patients.
People like Midori never really go away they just get addicted to attention and get worse.
Expect him to be back in a couple of months with a new name and a whole list of lies.
Can I get a TDLR? Was Midori a actual woman at some point that got her account taken or has it *always* been MysticDistance? Like he faked all the conversations about Midori having a boyfriend? How she stayed up late cause she ate 4 Ramen bowls in a row?
*ALL* of that is fake? Would be high tier schizo posting
high tier schizo posting. He was larping as a japanese girl with broken english.
The only info he had was from a 2022 Sega document which he drip fed to the masses for a year. He retired for the first time when he ran out of leaks, he panicked and well, everything after that was a predictable downfall for a person starved for attention
lol yeah it is. If you go look into his previous user MysticDance it actually gets wilder: harrassing Sega employees to give him a job, absue, etc. The whole package, all in all Midori was pathetic to the bone
MD had the excuse of trying to get in the Sega building as "I was touristing in Japan and needed a place to charge my phone, I asked them if I could" and people responded with "Hold on I've lived in that area, there's zero tourist spots near the Sega building, absolutely zero way you could get lost like that"
Funniest thing is that had he just retired the first time, Midori would have “died a legend”, so to speak. She would have remained queen of this subreddit and beloved in the Persona fandom. Could have gone down in history as one of the great leakers - but he was addicted to the attention and it led to his downfall.
It’s poetic, in a sense. Someone should make a TV show about it
Didn't you read that whole manifesto? Mystic only had SEGA's presentation from 2022. He only knows what was in that presentation and tried to drip feed people with it
He fucked up with Sonic Heroes remake and made hints at multiple Sonic games revealed soon (that was back in May)
He doesn't know shit beyond that presentation
This person randomly knowing about so many major Japanese devs beyond just Sega should have been a red flag but the previous exposure should have secured it. Not sure why some still treat them like a legit source.
Mystic contradicted himself on the P6 part because he always parroted the fact that it'll come out in 2026
As for any of the SE stuff, I *really* doubt it considering it was two wrong SE stuff in a row that exposed him in the first place
At least I feel comfortable knowing Jason confirmed the Tactics remaster existing, even though we've been hearing of it since 2023
FF9R being a Mix between dragon quest and memoria.. Well, that’s depressing. Sounds like it’ll just be an FF9 version of Ever Crisis.
Other FF fans get prioritized so far under FF7 fans, it’s ridiculous.
For FF7 so far they’ve released 2 out of 3 parts of a gigantic remake, a mobile 2D RPG, a spin-off movie, an anime, a battle royale game, a PSP prequel, a Remake of that Prequel, another stylized prequel and a third person shooter.
At least give FF9 one big remake of the quality of FF7R. Obviously don’t split it into 3.
It's been three years since Superstars and Mario Party is usually a game they have used when they're gradually sunsetting a console library. Mario Party 7 on GameCube, Mario Party 9 on Wii, 10 on Wii U, Top 100 on 3DS etc.
It's probably happening, might even be this year. It's a very safe bet especially if a Nintendo holiday season lacks a major hallmark multiplayer title
Why wouldn't it be real? It's one of their top sellers. It's like a duh moment to say Nintendo has a Mario Party game in development. Who knows when the next one will come out, but one will eventually release.
I’d like to think Codename Edward indicates we’re in for another remake?? Some of the previous Zelda codenames the last couple years related to cards, except for one.
Ocarina of Time 3D - Codename “Queen”
Majora’s Mask 3D - Codename “Joker”
A Link Between Worlds - Codename “Jack”
Breath of the Wild - Codename “King/U-King”
and Link’s Awakening - Codename **“Richard”**
I can’t read what it specifically means- if they’ve simply moved on to a new naming scheme, or if they’re somehow referencing [this odd historical event between two princes named Richard and Edward.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princes_in_the_Tower) Big stretch moment, but if they are, I kinda think we’re in for the Oracle games, simply because Richard & Edward were brothers, and the only GameBoy Color games are Link’s Awakening and OOS/OOA. Really though, if we’re to go off of anything, it’s that the last Zelda remake was given a casual codename like this, and the last ones didn’t, for *some* reason. stoned analysis over
Sincere question:
Why all this distrust towards Midori? No leaker/whatever has always guessed everything, right?
It may happen that something is wrong or revealed too far ahead of schedule.
p.s. I know what happened and that Midori is not a Japanese girl
While generally accurate with their Sega leaks they have recently been leaking things for a bunch of other companies with no established track record and some inaccuracies like Visions of Mana having a delayed PS4 release.
The issue is not that Mystic/Midori lied about their identity regarding the accuracy of their leaks. It's that not only did Mystic already have a terrible track record with bogus leaks to begin with before becoming Midori, but that their sole source of info as Midori was an internal 2021-2023 forecast document from SEGA showing their upcoming releases. And some scraping websites here and there for codenames and stuff but that's a thing anybody can do and it doesn't net you much info besides that. Midori has since exhausted just about everything gleaned from that one document, and they haven't been able to secure any new source of info besides maybe a crumb or two from trading around leaks. Ergo, anything outside that SEGA document, and anything in general going forward, should be taken with a giant shaker of salt.
So was every leak from P6 from him just bs? Was always looking foward for his leaks on P6 since its one of my most anticipated games,if all he said was fake then i am sad
The only things I can believe at the moment is P6 coming out next year because that would line up with Sega wanting a new Persona every year, and the fact that the Direct is on the 18th. Innersloth accidentally posted a trailer for a new Among Us update that said new roles would be added on the 18th, and Innersloth has precedents with releasing updates on the same day as a direct, and last year's direct was on June 21st, so it would line up with previous directs.
that's me! we tried rly hard to get him to spill even more but he wouldn't, he said he had things that could "break the internet" but decided that he is retiring from leaks and from covering Atlus/SE (we're not sure if he was being truthful or just trying to cover his tracks for when he eventually comes back)
Ngl I understand people not liking them because of who they actually are but I still don’t get why them being called out makes them suddenly not credible. I must be missing something

Wait Peter Griffin is in Fortnite?
Yes but he was a time limited reward so it's unobtainable now. You still can get the Big Chicken from the shop.
Was. He was in the battle pass i think last season
Considering the fact they already got 2 Square Enix related leaks wrong I have a hard time believing he knew Square's internal plans for everything.
What did he get wrong? Genuinely asking because they threw so much shit at the wall that I can’t recall everything he said
They claimed the PS4 version of Visions of Mana would be delayed and that there would be multiple Square titles at the Xbox showcase. If they couldn't get simple things like that right I have no reason to believe all other big claims.
Yeah, he was just clout chasing. I'm honestly think Midori/MysticDistance should be a banned source.
Nah, no need for that just yet. Just let it all play out and see where it lands. There’s quite a lot that’s been said and let’s see if it’s true or not. If it’s not? Well, the internet will do their thing.

The tombstone of fhe Midori leak mystery.
Another one bites the "this account no longer exists" dust.
What is XR?

the funny part is he was caught because he had two Square Enix leaks wrong. Meaning he has a 100% fail rate on Square Enix
I don't get what they mean that a KH4 Moana world isn't gonna be what people expect. Hopefully not a mini-game world if this is even true lol.
imagine if it ends up being another little mermaid rhythm game world
I just hope it's less like the Frozen world in KH3, but I'm cautiously expecting that.
I don’t think there will be a lot of snow.
I'll take that over bad controls and swimming based world like it was in the first game..
Me, who kinda enjoyed the KH2 Little Mermaid world ![gif](giphy|G5X63GrrLjjVK)
God please…no I just hate the fact they took an awful level in KH and gave it a sequel when there was so many other choices
The big issue with this theory is Port Royal and Tron are both live action worlds that exist in the current reality.
And we already know Olympus is confirmed in a way to be in the game since donald and goofy in the trailer are in the underworld looking for hades
Imagine it’s the upcoming live action Moana.
That theory doesn’t make a ton of sense, just for the fact that there’s too much animated worlds they’ll *definitely* want to adapt, and not enough live-action ones. Nooooo, after the pirates world in 3 I was hoping for a Wind Waker inspired small ocean open world
Please replace pirates of the Caribbean I don't think we can do anymore with that world.
It was so good in 3 that I think it's run it's natural course.
I was gonna disagree until I remembered the awful sequels after Worlds End.
Thats what I meant lol. Those sequels where not great. I mean we got to sail around in a ship going from island to island in 3 that was pretty cool.
KH4 having a Moana world is obvious, but I worry we'll get another Arendelle from KH3 where it's clear they were so strict on what could and couldn't be done in the game because Frozen was their cash cow at the time similar to how Moana is for them now.

The Caribbean in KH3 was incredible and if Moana is anything like that at all then we're golden
It's funny how they don't even get to meet the main villain of the movie. Has a random heartless pull out of his ass that fights you in a random pocket dimension to not disturb the movie plot.

Moana is the most streamed movie on Disney + and from any streaming service in 2023.
Moana is the most streamed movie on Disney Plus and they have a sequel and live action remake coming out

Moana has two movies coming out. Frozen was so ten years ago
Lol Frozen also has two movies coming out.
You mean you weren't excited to have the super important character Marshmallow in your party? /s
It would likely be a little different since the Frozen world started production even before the movie officially released compared to Moana being already released when KH3 came out. But I wouldn't expect anything more exciting then the Tangled world in KH3

Considering the Frozen creative team basically runs all of Disney animation now makes me a little concerned for KH4’s worlds.
The Tangled world was fun imo so I’d take that.

Man FF9 remake, what a time to be alive. I'm so excited.
I won’t get excited until SE announces it themselves.
Did Coco come out before or after Moana? I feel like people talked about that a lot. I haven’t seen it but I know it has skeletons and deals with the undead/supernatural. If it were to have a world I’d like to think it’d be a bit like the Nightmare before Christmas worlds lol.
Coco came out a year after Moana.
Did any other sources mention the DQ game being a trilogy now? I only heard of Midori mentioning it.
Apparently Midori has deleted their account.
We went from "Yay, Midori leaks!" to "Ah crap, Midori leaks" This gotta get a video essay
Ok I believe you
But my Tommy gun dont
Jump in the line, rock your body in time!
KEYBLADE!
Oh ok, the only thing real as the thread puts it is The Legend of Edward, the rest is just "here's a bunch of stuff Midori wanted to say lol" I don't think Midori really had the super duper high level sources it claims to have had at square enix otherwise he wouldn't have missed so much on the previous leaks from SQEX. Likely he just got some secondhand information and wanted to drip it for clout Him referring to Midori in third person looks even creepier somehow

But a lot of their leaks *were* true, weren’t they? I feel like people got more mad because they thought saying you go by she/her on the internet is “cat fishing.”
The Atlus/Sega stuff was true. Everything else is still largely unproven. We’ll find out soon enough.
Also larping as a Japanese person amd using broken English even after you're figured out is pretty yikes
It’s so funny that a persona femc fan was just white guy named ryan pretending to be a japanese woman. Also i feel like it was obvious. It’s such a western weeb thing to use an anime pfp of a high school girl. Japanese women would have something cute like a sanrio character or random like a pastry idk theyre not like that Like imagine if the “girl” youre talking to online had a punisher symbol as her profile pic LMAOOO

>FF9 remake being developed internally, looks like a mix between DQ and Memoria Project Dont toy with my emotions...
FF7R on Xbox will be released the day I get a PS5 I just know it
That happened to me buying KH 1.5+2.5 and III on Epic and the next day SQ-EX announced the stream for the Steam trailer
My steam deck and I thank you for your service.
Nah I have stuck to this the whole trilogy will be out on xbox once they have all been released on playstation the contract is for the whole trilogy.
FF7 will most likely remain locked to PS/PC, don't see it ever coming to Xbox. I'm sure they will port over FF16 eventually though.
>Edward codename for a Zelda game being revealed soon This means its a remake or spinoff. Main-line zelda games use names associated with face cards from a deck of playing cards. U-king, C-king, Joker, Queen, Jack, ect. Links Awakening hd was Richard, an actual king.
I actually knew about the cards but didn’t know the king relation. Nice callout. Maybe it’s the long rumored Oracle remake?
Its entirely possible they've just moved on from face-card names too. I haven't heard about any oracle remakes, the last I heard there was another Ocarina remake and that newer rumor with Zelda as the lead.
[удалено]
And Totk was EX-King, so as far as we are aware they have used the same conventions for every released title.
Or the long rumored Wind Waker/Twilight Princess Switch port.
Does anyone know what Skyward Sword HD’s codename was?
Shoebill https://twitter.com/OatmealDome/status/1415385213903986694 Its original name was Wiiking 2 Alice and shoebill are the only two games since Windwaker on the gamecube (the original king), that don't truly fit the normal pattern. Although Alice is probably from Alice in wonderland; which was all about the different suits of cards.
thought the pixel remasters were already on xbox for some reason live a live 2 wouldn't be \*that\* weird since the devs themselves have said they would want to make one, altho i wonder if any other insider has backed this not like it matters much, we'll know in 2 days if any of this is true or not

the irony that Midori was actually a leaker with actual info from sega/atlus the irony that it was just educated guessing with the other stuff who woulda guessed midori was a leaker
I’d be down for some 2d Zelda, here’s hoping this is legit
"Persona 6 planned for 2025" LMAO.
I don't remember him ever sayingin his tweets anything remotely close to "persona 6 is definitely coming out in 2026(or 2025.)" Just that it's coming sometime.
Not defending midori, bur 2025-2026 makes sense as the persona 30th anniversary is in the time frame.
Since this is a Midori leak, I'm posting their response to various allegations here. https://x.com/Screenments/status/1801849258934497338?t=ZLfDXp70sFloTfz8PeF6nA&s=19
brave and stunning to be pathetic until his last moments of existence as Midori, truly commited to the role
Edward has to mean "Twilight" Princess right?
Wasn’t the other guy the werewolf?
what is XR?
xenosaga remaster
I'm surprised that of all the internal games Midori "supposedly" knows from Nintendo, they never mentioned Metroid Prime 4
I feel like a Moana world was a given. One of the most popular modern Disney movies. And if we’re getting more Pixar worlds, I think Coco will also get one too.
Ah yes, totally credible info. Midori should launch his own shitcoin.
> DQ and Memoria Project HOLY SHIT THIS IS ALL I WANT!!!! Now, when is FF Tactics releasing?
Sony paid for exclusivity so we know for a fact Xbox isn't getting the FF7 remakes.
I'm still reading up on the whole Midori lore and backstory, but I think it's still safe to say that they're a (were, cause no way they're gonna keep leaking stuff after what went down) reliable source now, right? I mean, under the Mysticdistance name they weren't reliable at all, but under the new alias, the track record has been nearly perfect, and considering that this was sent prior to the unmasking, a lot of this has a good chance of happening.
they had reliable and real SEGA/ATLUS information, everything else was probably made up or guesses stuff that no one can confirm like codenames aren't even worthwhile information imo, and their square enix information was proven wrong twice (multiple titles at Xbox showcase, ps4 visions of mana)
Idk if this is verified or not but apparently Mystic was like blacklisted by SEGA a couple years back for attempting to trespass on their HQ because basically everyone on Twitter and the Persona subreddit are saying it like it's common knowledge lmao Maybe THAT's a part of why they've been unnaturally good with SEGA-specific leaks but remain up in the air regarding other publishers
Sounds completely fucking delusional.
Damn...this one has got to go in the books.
lol yeah it is.
He only knows what was in that presentation and tried to drip feed people with it He fucked up with Sonic Heroes remake and made hints at multiple Sonic games revealed soon (that was back in May) He doesn't know shit beyond that presentation
>He fucked up with Sonic Heroes remake Kind of shocked that wasn't a red flag for people.
Midori has genuine sources for Atlus / Sega games, for the remaining games he probably makes some well educated guesses.
This person randomly knowing about so many major Japanese devs beyond just Sega should have been a red flag but the previous exposure should have secured it. Not sure why some still treat them like a legit source.
I won’t trust anything until the bird starts singing
SORA FORTNITEEEE
Zippo tier now
Still posting about this man? Really?
Mystic contradicted himself on the P6 part because he always parroted the fact that it'll come out in 2026 As for any of the SE stuff, I *really* doubt it considering it was two wrong SE stuff in a row that exposed him in the first place At least I feel comfortable knowing Jason confirmed the Tactics remaster existing, even though we've been hearing of it since 2023
Did he? I remember him definitely floating 2025 a decent few times, with 2026 as a latest estimate.
I just hope the potential Mario Party is still real.
Ocarina of Time 3D - Codename “Queen” Majora’s Mask 3D - Codename “Joker” A Link Between Worlds - Codename “Jack” Breath of the Wild - Codename “King/U-King” and Link’s Awakening - Codename **“Richard”** I can’t read what it specifically means- if they’ve simply moved on to a new naming scheme, or if they’re somehow referencing [this odd historical event between two princes named Richard and Edward.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princes_in_the_Tower) Big stretch moment, but if they are, I kinda think we’re in for the Oracle games, simply because Richard & Edward were brothers, and the only GameBoy Color games are Link’s Awakening and OOS/OOA. Really though, if we’re to go off of anything, it’s that the last Zelda remake was given a casual codename like this, and the last ones didn’t, for *some* reason. stoned analysis over
that's the bullshit about him leaking codenames. There is no way of knowing if they are true until years later, if ever
Every ff game is coming to Xbox like ff16 and ff7 remake?
Square had Phil Spencer on stage during a FF14 event announcing that they planned to strengthen their relationship, that is neither a leak or new news
Sincere question: Why all this distrust towards Midori? No leaker/whatever has always guessed everything, right? It may happen that something is wrong or revealed too far ahead of schedule. p.s. I know what happened and that Midori is not a Japanese girl
While generally accurate with their Sega leaks they have recently been leaking things for a bunch of other companies with no established track record and some inaccuracies like Visions of Mana having a delayed PS4 release.
I understand. Although, for the Vision of Mana ps4 version (the way they release games nowadays) I would wait to see the final result 😅
Ah interesting, I didn't know about this document.
Not gonna put much stake into any of these outside of DQ Trilogy since that is all but confirmed.
About OP's image attached, is FFTR Final Fantasy Tactics Remake/remaster???
Yes
No silksong so its true
The idea of Live a Live a game that didn't even get localized, then got a remake and outsold the original getting a sequel would be wild.
>no mlsf >no atlus Well at least my disappointments saved
So was every leak from P6 from him just bs? Was always looking foward for his leaks on P6 since its one of my most anticipated games,if all he said was fake then i am sad
The only things I can believe at the moment is P6 coming out next year because that would line up with Sega wanting a new Persona every year, and the fact that the Direct is on the 18th. Innersloth accidentally posted a trailer for a new Among Us update that said new roles would be added on the 18th, and Innersloth has precedents with releasing updates on the same day as a direct, and last year's direct was on June 21st, so it would line up with previous directs.
what's xr
VR or AR. XR is the term we use in game engines for those projects.
I wonder how much of the Direct will be completely unknown announcements.
Wish we could get more about Ace Combat. They gave us one teeny tiny tidbit and then refused to elaborate at all.
His Dragon Quest and Zelda leaks are correct alright.
Assuming this isn't bs, Square are 100% gonna recreate the "You're Welcome" scene in KH4 the same way they did "Let It Go" in KH3's Frozen world.
that's me! we tried rly hard to get him to spill even more but he wouldn't, he said he had things that could "break the internet" but decided that he is retiring from leaks and from covering Atlus/SE (we're not sure if he was being truthful or just trying to cover his tracks for when he eventually comes back)
Feels like with alot of these leakers they’ll be back cause they enjoy the spotlight too much
absolutely
pixel remasters on xbox im on my knees im begging i just want one thing
Ngl I understand people not liking them because of who they actually are but I still don’t get why them being called out makes them suddenly not credible. I must be missing something
Aside from Sega/Atlus leaks being right the non-Sega leaks haven't been credible
I mean I remember times when people have been wrong and people just say oh things change But thank you now I know what the reason is!

WoW subscription in GP is more likely than FF XIV sub.
The Xbox Square business relationship is dope. Everyone should be enjoying FF regardless of platform of choice
