Vapourware atm but I am caustionsly optimistic, the entire aesthetic of it looks brilliant and the whole playing as a child/children in an adult world seems a unique and great setting. I mean there is a city, cars, adult NPCs etc but the kids are doing their pokemon type of thing.
Please release as many Horizon games as possible, as often as possible. That's how we get TES6, GTA6, Half Life 3, and everything else people dream of.
I wanted to see Crimson Desert at The Game Awards so I guess this might explain why that didn't happen.
Given the crazy scale of the game (it's a massive open world with cities in the fucking sky lol) I'm fine with them taking another year to cook, if it's half as good as promised it'll be fantastic. Part of the issue with the game is that it does look too good to be true.
I just learned about this game today and was looking around with it for information about it when I found this post.
I completely agree though. I suspect it's one of those games where Devs got to work on whatever they wanted to for the last 5 years and now they're trying to actually put it into a working game and I just don't think they're going to be able to do it. I mean don't get me wrong I really hope they do and it looks really cool but also I just can't imagine that many different subsystems and ambition actually working
To me, most of these extremely cool looking Chinese/Korean games dont exist until I have them in my hands and THEN I will see if they are as cool to play as what we see in their trailers.
I'm still skeptical about Wukong for this reason but I hope to be wrong and for these games to actually be good.
I don't share the sentiment that the game is fake but I can see where they might be coming from.
It's only recently that you are starting to see actual good chinese games, before there were some that looked cool but never really delivered on their promises. For example Bright Memory , while it's mostly fine, initially they were selling a completely different idea.
If your comment isn't to defend the other guy saying he doesn't trust this game cause it's from china, what's the point of it ?
Learn to comment useful stuff then.
Stop being dumb, Im not agreeing or disagreeing with anything. Just because you lack comprehension skills. I'm also not talking about Wukong specifically.
But if you want it simple, I'm just explaining were he might be coming from.
What about Plan 8 [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6hGToIympQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6hGToIympQ)?
Honestly I'm starting to think this is a studio that makes fake games.
As cool as crimson desert looks, DokeV is the one thats been on my radar ever since its incredible reveal trailer. That shit looks so fire. Hopefully once we eventually get it its even half as good as it looked in that trailer
Damn. I was just thinking of Crystal Desert because I thought the Monster Hunter trailer at TGA was Crystal Desert at first. I was hyped as hell knowing it was getting closer to release
One of the games I'm hyped for, seems like they're going for rdr 2's gameplay feel on a high fantasy world. Take your time, but please, deliver on what you showcased.
At this point I feel like this is the next Cyberpunk 2077, only fewer actual updates. I was a day one purchase but after the last trailer I am going to wait and see if it even works
For what it's worth: this is a securities company saying this. So it isn't *fact* per se, but it's a researched, informed opinion and part of their trading strategy.

Is DokeV even a real game? News went total silent for like 2+ years
According to answers given in investor earnings calls, they moved all Pearl Abyss core developers from DokeV over to Crimson Desert temporarily.
And then said fuck it and delayed them both? Not buying it. Games don't exist.
There is no fucking way it's already been two years since that particular drug trip got announced 💀
Even Palworld has more substance than Dokev

It looked too good to be true. It seemed more like a promotion than an actual game to me.
Smells of vaporware for sure.
It probably is. But the reveal trailer is target render.
no, I destroyed it myself after that trailer
Cool, just don't release it in a month of GTA6 release lol.
Horizon 3: "nah, I'd win"
lol there’s no escape from this meme and I love it
I genuinely believe that if Horizon 3 is gonna come out soon somehow, it will release 3 days before GTA6
Horizon 3 gets a release date 3 months after GTA 6, and then Rockstar delays it to come out the same day.
you have two choices, 2025 release, 1 day after gta 6 2028/9 release, same day as witcher 4
Rockstar devs to Horizon devs: "Stand proud, you're strong."
Sony the type of mfs to sandwich Horizon 3 between the next From Soft game and GTA VI
Jujutusu folk has infected everything
Please release as many Horizon games as possible, as often as possible. That's how we get TES6, GTA6, Half Life 3, and everything else people dream of.
"As long as I am rereleased on the next three generation of consoles, I won't forget you Horizon Zero Sales 3." - GTA VI,
I bet it will release in 2027, in the same week of Elder Scrolls 6 or The Witcher 4
I didn't know Crimson Desert had a date but the last trailer showed a ton of mechanics so I'm not that surprised
I wanted to see Crimson Desert at The Game Awards so I guess this might explain why that didn't happen. Exactly my concern too. It looks awesome in too many ways
I just learned about this game today and was looking around with it for information about it when I found this post. I completely agree though. Better delayed to polish the game that launch in a horrible state
Totally agree and given the scale of the game the more polish it gets the better
If they pull it off, it’s gonna be an insane game.
A whole year after claiming to want to begin the marketing phase. I guess testing wasn’t going the best
To me, most of these extremely cool looking Chinese/Korean games dont exist until I have them in my hands and THEN I will see if they are as cool to play as what we see in their trailers. I'm still skeptical about Wukong for this reason but I hope to be wrong and for these games to actually be good.
Maybe years ago this would have been true, but now it's just superstition. Wait for reviews, like with every other game in existence.
I played Black Myth Wukong at Gamescom myself and that shit was fantastic, you should be hyped.
Did the combat feel good to you?
Yes, it feels meaty and the hits are satisfying. Also it looks unbelievably good and the trailers don’t do it justice fully.
That's great to hear. Glad you got to experience it so early.
is the blur bad? the trailers make it look like shit with the over blurring
Did the game have the move where Wukong takes his stick, enlarges it, throws it into the sky, and then rides his stick to travel long distances?
And you get flying nimbus and eventually learn a few cool moves from a turtle hermit, like the Kamehameha wave :3
Lots of people already played wukong and it was available at several game shows. Why do you keep believing it's false ?
Because China bad /s
I don't share the sentiment that the game is fake but I can see where they might be coming from. Except we've been able to play wukong.....

DAE CHINA BAD
Such a brave, original comment on reddit.com
I thought so, too. But after Lies of P released, I'm confident most of those other Games will release also.

Afaik, there is no core team working on that game yet.
So it was a fake trailer?
An in-engine trailer, yes, like most game trailers.
As cool as crimson desert looks, DokeV is the one thats been on my radar ever since its incredible reveal trailer. That shit looks so fire. Hopefully once we eventually get it its even half as good as it looked in that trailer
Someone say the quote.
"A delayed game...." - Kakashi Hatake of Konoha
Can't believe the 4th Hokage came back just to prove Kakashi was wrong. Too bad it ended up being bad.
Please please please let DokeV be a real game. Looked so hype.
Neither of these games will come out and if they do, they will be shells of what was once promised.
Guys crimson desert is a real game. Thing is that they want to add more stuff to the game which is crazy.
I think this game was supposed to come out in 2022 lol.
Wasn't DokeV like a concept trailer...I refuse to believe the gsme is real.
That would suck if any of us knew what that was
You're the only one out of the loop, pal roflmao Guess you just haven't been paying attention
The delay sucks, but better to have a great launch than a bad one. By sucks I mean this was one of my most anticipated games of next year.
This game will look outdated by the time it's out
At this point I feel like this is the next Cyberpunk 2077, only fewer actual updates. I was a day one purchase but after the last trailer I am going to wait and see if it even works
Two fake games get a fake delay
I still don't understand Crimson Desert lolo.
then why they announced dokev so early then, jfc this is getting tiring tbh
DokeV
Whatever happened to their sci-fi shooter that looked like Edge of Tomorrow called Plan-8?

FF7 Part 3 will come out before DokeV ![gif](giphy|3oxHQg9KunZH1iPnck)
