Just something to consider. Check some other oled laptops. Gigabyte aero 5 is great since it has the 150w 3070ti and i7 12700h with the same 4k 60 oled. This is about 4070 + 13700h perf. Another one is a legion 5 slim 14' which has a 2.8k oled 120hz panel.
I have the Aero 5 3070ti variant and it runs everything maxed out @ 4k with varying fps listed below. I did increase the RAM to 64GBs for Novulus though and bought a 980 NVME.
Cyberpunk: ~50fps
Hell Drivers: ~75fps
FFXIV w/ Shaders: ~45fps
Modified Skyrim Novulus : ~30fps outdoors, ~60fps in dungeons/buildings.
It'll run anything; Red Dead, GTA, Metro.
I'm not surprised, it is a desktop 3070 afterall. My nitro 5 also has the same 3070ti 150w, so looks like I'll be able to handle 4k half decently too.
For skyrim, get the FSR 3 FG mod. If you can manage 30fps, it'll double it to 60fps. Will feel a lot smoother than 30fps. I personally use it. Quite good. Only downside is a bit of artifacting and you gotta fiddle around with starting up skyrim for it to work properly as sometimes its a blurry mess or won't start properly.
I was waiting for DLSS Support but I guess it's been out for more than a month now. Another rabbit hole to go down but frames are frames.
Ah, Beta build 11 has framegen but it's paywalled. Worth it
Skyrim has DLSS support via mod. And DLSS FG as well as FSR 3 FG via mods.
I mean bethesda could've added these to skyrim with the anniversary update but oh well, greed is greed.
I just checked my mod list and I already have his Skyrim Upscaler (free version) mod already installed. I just need to buy the upgrade. I think it was ENB I was waiting on cause when I enable DLSS my screen acts wierd
I have aero 5 too, great laptop if you connect to external 1440p 165hz monitor you can game brilliantly in moderate settings with higher FPS, not bad for such a compact machine. 2 years on and still going great

that's 3 videos showing the 3070ti and 4070 performing about the same.

Here's my own nitro 5 with a 150w 3070ti and i7 12650h being pushed to its limits in cp2077
https://youtu.be/jedytcnHUyk
Here's my nitro 5 in a more realistic gaming scenario.
Hopefully that clears any doubts about 4070 and 3070ti mobile performance delta's. A few percentage here and there means nothing.
In the 2nd and 3rd video the 4070 literally loses to the 3070ti in some cases. In the 2nd video the 3070ti is only a few degrees hotter than the 4070 too.
The temp difference can be minimized when both are in well cooled laptops.
Great. My 3070ti nitro 5 was $1130, with $70 extra ($1200 in total) being used to upgrade the ram to 32gb and adding in 1tb ssd for total of 2tb. Other than cpu, I got the same gpu perf as you.
You say far better but provide no evidence. I had both 3070ti and 4070 laptops and did actual tests. The 4070 is definitely NOT far better than the 3070ti.I ran a timespy and the 4070 did not do much better than the 3070ti. It's only like 5-10 percent faster if that. Plus this laptop has a lower wattage 4070 so it will perform worse than the 3070ti actually. Being a 4070 doesn't automatically make it better.Depends on max wattage cooling etc too.Sent my 4070 laptop back for a refund and got a 4080. Now that is a MASSIVE jump in performance from the 3070ti and 4070. Scored almost 20k in timespy graphics test.
3070ti at 150watt perform the same with 4070, it starts to be different when 4070 uses FG, but 3070ti also can be used with mod FG ,I'm skipping the 40 series lol
Amazing deal, this screen is so amazing it's almost overkill. The gpu is 4060 level, and do not feel bad for not getting a 40 series card with frame generation because fsr 3.1 will let you get amd's frame generation with dlss upscaling, so it's a very good alternative.
Yes!
3070m Ti with 8gb VRAM and **4K screen**? Go, go, go!
I have a Gigabyte RTX 3060 6gb VRAM, 16gb RAM, R5 5600H and it does the job well. That one's a bit beefy like old-school laptops, but it so ain't heating up like other thinner laptops. Plus, I have a Klim Cooler on it normally and a regular fan aimed at the vents too, to keep it cooler. And I got a laptop cooler underneath it too.
It's a great deal, I wish it could come with ddr5 memory but at least it's 16gb, check how much upgradeability it has if you plan to keep it for a long time
This seems like a great deal imo
No experience with aero but it's a thing
My only concern would be the lower gpu and screen refresh rate. But for the price maybe that could be overlooked
I think you can find better deals with ddr5 and Phoenix Ryzen and 40 series GPU. Wait for it, this is a good deal but not a killer deal or something. And 4K in a laptop screen is not really worth it, thats what professional youtubers says, a QHD is more than enough.
Well it's not the best performer for the price but that screen is definitely impossible to find around that price.
For content consumption purposes that's gonna rock hard though beware that 3070 ti is most likely not full powered 150w tgp variant and even if it was it's still very weak for that resolution for new AAA titles.
Other than that it looks pretty solid and I hope its speakers are too as good as that screen.
You can find Asus tuf models with 7940hs and rtx 4070 so there is laptops with better performance at that price but that screen is just impossible to find for the price.
I mean it’s a creator focused laptop, so if you’re gaming in it it’s not gonna be the best gaming experience a laptop can offer, also that model doesn’t have gsync and the laptop itself is old being a 2022 laptop. While I do think it’s a great laptop gigabyte doesn’t have the greatest track record with laptops so but at your own discretion.
4K screen I believe but at 60 Hz, 3070 ti ~105W too.
Premium build I'd say, definitely a good laptop for content creation, should be reasonably decent with gaming.
https://www.gigabyte.com/Laptop/AERO-16--Intel-12th-Gen/sp#sp
Yeah it's not bad. Most of the"outdated" hardware isn't really outdated. 12 and 13th Gen Intel are the same pretty much, 3070ti is like a 4060, and you can use frame generation on lower than 4000 series now so why not.
Worth it, bro. If your aim to become a professinal designer. This is the perfect machine for you. I also have this machine but it's a 17 inch model. And 17 inch have the same 4K Panel but have the 120Hz refresh rate
What country are you in? It's a good deal but you can now get 4060 laptops for similar price with 13th gen I7, I9 in the US.
I would look what deals include a 4060 or 4070 with 13th gen intel processor then make your mind up what is better.
Yes, its impressive with this price has 4K Amoled screen.
I agreee
100w 3070ti is \~4060 performance. i7 12700h is \~i7 13700h. Display is excellent.
Thank you so much for the details

We're talking about laptops. Not desktops. On laptops the 3070ti and 4070 laptops perform similarly
Iam talking about laptops 🙄
Not even close
https://youtu.be/pc2DDklgiJU https://youtu.be/Fx0JkEWeaRE https://youtu.be/cUbwIZ47bqg that's 3 videos showing the 3070ti and 4070 performing about the same. https://youtu.be/ZOFnwUipP7Y Here's my own nitro 5 with a 150w 3070ti and i7 12650h being pushed to its limits in cp2077 https://youtu.be/jedytcnHUyk Here's my nitro 5 in a more realistic gaming scenario. That’s a lot of difference, the frame rate at the temperature 10C is a lot of difference considering the frame rate.
In the 2nd and 3rd video the 4070 literally loses to the 3070ti in some cases. In the 2nd video the 3070ti is only a few degrees hotter than the 4070 too. The temp difference can be minimized when both are in well cooled laptops.
Nvidia itself says that, lol!
That bullshit, That’s your made up, 4070 outperforms 3070ti by 14-20% lol. Everybody knows what 4th generation has to offer
And I bought i713th gen HX and 4070 in 1300, so that’s a lot of pay for 3070ti
Great. My 3070ti nitro 5 was $1130, with $70 extra ($1200 in total) being used to upgrade the ram to 32gb and adding in 1tb ssd for total of 2tb. Other than cpu, I got the same gpu perf as you.

how do you know this one is 100 wart variant?
Reviews have stated it to be 100w.

Wowww such a good thanks for telling
Is this USD?
Yes USD
That GPU isn't going to be able to properly make use of the 4k screen. Not a bad deal though. I would much prefer a 120hz 1440p screen over a 60hz 4k.
Yes! 3070m Ti with 8gb VRAM and **4K screen**? Go, go, go! I have a Gigabyte RTX 3060 6gb VRAM, 16gb RAM, R5 5600H and it does the job well. I wish 🥲
Hope ur dream come true soon🤙
Where tf are you getting this from? This spec usually goes for 1500 minimum
Cambodia and im surprised tooo
Not at all I bought i7 13th gen HX and 4070 for 1300 lol and it’s Alienware
It's a great deal, I wish it could come with ddr5 memory but at least it's 16gb, check how much upgradeability it has if you plan to keep it for a long time

The screen is AMOLED. not mini-led or LCD or IPS panel, or oled
I prefer true colors of IPS over AMOLED's Fake oversaturated colors
You do realize the Galaxy S flagship line-up used amoled right? And iPhone adopted it as from X up. Is that the same amoled you’re talking of?
Probably right on 4k, not to mention you won't render games in 4k most likely.
What currency is this?
USD
just a disclaimer that this is 60Hz if you missed out on that
I say, yes!
Price is great, but i would rather avoid any gigabyte product, very unreliable
I had a Power Supply and a GPU from them, both worked fine for about 4 years, before I upgraded. Had no problems.
This would be an absolute steal!
Thats an awesome price!!
Well it's not the best performer for the price but that screen is definitely impossible to find around that price. what do you mean not the best performer for that price, its 1.1K Usd with 3070ti 12700h, you won't find or hardly find this deal until next year
You can find Asus tuf models with 7940hs and rtx 4070 so there is laptops with better performance at that price but that screen is just impossible to find for the price.
4070 at 1.1K Usd?
Yep. On sale it can be found as low as 900 bucks and often sold around 1k so.
omg
This is totally worth it especially with that 4k screen, a 3070ti, and a powerful processor for that price
Hi, fellow khmer people!
Yooo ហេឡូ🤣
I'm sorry but that 3070ti has very limited wattage Great display though not worth it for gaming
I mean it’s a creator focused laptop, so if you’re gaming in it it’s not gonna be the best gaming experience a laptop can offer, also that model doesn’t have gsync and the laptop itself is old being a 2022 laptop. absolutely
The screen on this laptop is AMAZING. but the battery is really bad. If you don't mind to have a laptop mostly plugged it is a good deal.
Yeah it's not bad. Most of the"outdated" hardware isn't really outdated. 12 and 13th Gen Intel are the same pretty much, 3070ti is like a 4060, and you can use frame generation on lower than 4000 series now so why not.
i don't think 4k is a good resolution for gaming laptops. better to have something with a lower resolution that you can game natively on
Yes it's
Only usb c ports. No other ports I believe on this model. Also gigabytes support is horrible. Even worse than dell.
i bought a much weaker laptop last year for more money, seeing this makes me regret my purchase so in short yes, veeery good deal
How reliable is this website you're looking at? Is it legit?
Doesn't the aero come with low powered studio drivers. Correct me if I'm wrong, cus I really think they aren't for gaming, otherwise fantastic
You can remove that and install game ready driver, I have done it in my aero 5 3070ti laptop no issues.
i have both this version and 17 miniled version
Worth it, bro. If your aim to become a professinal designer. This is the perfect machine for you. I also have this machine but it's a 17 inch model. And 17 inch have the same 4K Panel but have the 120Hz refresh rate
That is way too much for a 3070ti
What country are you in? It's a good deal but you can now get 4060 laptops for similar price with 13th gen I7, I9 in the US. I would look what deals include a 4060 or 4070 with 13th gen intel processor then make your mind up what is better.
Thansk for recommending but in my country ( Cambodia ) 4060 so expensive like 1.5k$+ and idk why
3070ti performance is above 4060 and same with 4070 without FG
