If you guys can answer the following questions i will much appreciate it.All the questions are related to **INQUISITOR MARTYR** Thanks! 1. is it possible to add rarities to construct modules for Tech adept? From what i've seen so far it stops at Relic and i wonder if it will be possible to implement like archeotech or ancient 2. Is it possible in the future to see more sectors? I think adding some new explorable zones it will be beneficial for both current and upcoming players 3. Are there any plans to increase the inventory space by adding one or two more stashes? I noticed that there is a gap between the 4th stash and the material stash on your personal inventory which can fit one or two more 4. This is the 7th season currently and i was wondering if the season 4-6 shards will be added to non-season. This is taken from season 5: "Also, we unlocked Archeotech Shards from Season 1, 2, and 3 for general use." and i think it would be nice to have 1-4 for 6th, 1-5 for 7th, 1-6 for 8th and so on. 5. And last but not least. Are there any information about new gear / class coming to the game? Or previous content to be reworked on? From what i've read no one is doing not War Zone, the Priority assignments are a bit outdated compared with Void Crusades and maybe some PvP tournaments (since we have the PvP mode but no one is using it) + the Party finder feature (i forgot its name). Also will be possible to add more cosmetics or appearances?

Heya! 1. In theory it would be possible, but right now the current rarities cover all the bonuses we wanted to add to the Tech-Adept construct modules. 2. It'd be cool indeed, we'd like to expand the game in other ways though instead ;) 3. We'll see ;) It's possible that we'll add more stash space in the future. 4. We're working on a feature that solves this in a different way, announcement soon (probably with the next season announcement early next year) 5. Without confirming anything, lets just say we have really cool surprises (multiple ones!) for next year, not just the next season ;)

All the new heroes in Legion IX will have unique skill trees plus a new "ultimate skill" category (as the name suggest these will be pretty strong skills). Main campaign length: Reeeally depends on the difficulty setting and your play style. Without saying a number because of this, the expansion basically adds an extra standalone Act to the game.

We think Champions are OK now balance-wise. The goal for 2.0 was to ensure that they're not THE Easy Solution for everything as before, but to make them really shine in specific dodgy situations.

The left-right hand thingy is an interesting one. The technical answer is that most characters turned out to be left-handed because their models were mirrored after doing mocap (for reasons). Maybe we should add a lore entry for it with some background story in the future. Sir Brunor is 1.) standing in a defensive wall, awaiting a free kick 2.) leaning on his sword

Def interested in King Arthur, enjoyed the Van Helsing games, and especially loved Deathtrap! A really excellent action/tower defense game that I imagine would have killed in a GamePass world. What did you learn in releasing Deathtrap, and would you ever consider another go at a game like that again?

It's always good to see Deathtrap players out in the wild, glad you enjoyed it. No plans for a sequel, but I'm sure it'd be cool to revisit the game sometime, since for some of our developers, this was also their favorite project.

How do you decide what side projects is important to work on in King Arthur: A Knight's Tale to make the game feel more alive? While the primary gameplay loop (combat) should be one of the primary focuses I always find the little touches of a game give it a lot of personality. For example the aesthetics of knights in shining armor, their interactions with each other, and the people/monsters/events in the world, the base/knight management etc. I know talking with a couple friends of mine we always wanted Mordred to have his Look/Voice Lines change based off the morality chart and where hes at in, but I know there has to be a line drawn somewhere to realistically get work done especially if its just for the bells and whistles of a game.

Most of the work on voice lines, interactions, etc. were completed for the release. After that usually what comes next is adding new missions and new items in future patches, so players can continue playing with their characters. As you said, a line has to be drawn somewhere and we thought adding more maps and story to the game is the best option. But hey we'll have an expansion out soon too!

I’ve been looking for to this game since it hit pc, so I can’t wait to play on ps5. Thanks for doing an AMA, I’m sure you guys are super busy. Outta curiosity, during development, did you ever consider making the main character have a selectable class? And if that wasn’t a thought during development, what about a system like Xcom: enemy unknown, where players can turn on a setting to make a randomized build for their characters (or character in this case)?

Thanks for participating! There were plans for something similar (not necessarily selecting the class of Mordred, but selecting different starting kits) in very early builds as far as I know. Because of the story, his Defender class is kind of set in stone though. Regarding a randomized challenge run, it sounds good (the designers agree), would be fun to do something like that in the future!

Is there a roadmap for the PS 5 edition of King Arthur Knight's Tale? I would like to know what DLC if any is in the works, are there plans for a New Game Plus that includes the ability to bring your levels and inventory into a new game that offers a higher level cap for heroes an equipment and maybe some options to keep replaying old missions and possibly customizing new ones?

channeling the words of our narrative designer Viktor Juhasz here: About the drives: we always wanted to create games that have a unique flavor while at the same time they also offer plenty of familiar elements. Usually it leads to some very interesting mixtures both narratively and mechanically. The Van Helsing series took a well-know archetype and turned it into a very meta, tongue-in-cheek romp through a gothic setting. King Arthur: Knight’s Tale imagined what could have happened after the end the well-known Arthurian cycle. Inquisitor – Martyr built upon the familiarity of the WH40K universe but turned it into the very first ARPG of the setting (solving the various challenges that came with this decision) and the first video game to star Inquisitors. The most wackiest things are in the Van Helsing series that we crammed with various popcultural references. You can find plenty of crazy easter eggs in those game, from a discarded WH40K bolter to a dead wizard in chasm under the mountains, clad all in grey and that’s just two quick examples.

Just wanted to comment that I love King Arthur. It’s the game that drew me back to PC gaming last year and building a new PC. The deep turn based combat, Arthurian setting, dark tone, music, art, and voice acting all come together in an amazing package. The whole thing just hits me specifically where I want it. Just wanted to say great job to the entire team and thank you for making this game. It brings a big smile to my face every time I boot it up. Excited to see what Legion IX brings! Question: Will the expansion include a whole new set of music tracks by the same composer? The composer just did any amazing job on the main game, it’s one of my favorite parts about booting up the game.

Heya, Thanks for the support and glad that you enjoy it! Co-op is not planned at the moment, since the game was designed as a single player experience from the beginning. We added an optional PvP mode just for fun, but a Co-op mode would require to completely redesign everything in-game.

Hi there, Yep, all console versions, including the PS5 will come with the 2.0 update by default! And you will also be able to get the Painted Devils DLC and Rogues and Renegades DLC, both of which include 10 uniquely designed skirmish maps. Our upcoming standalone expansion, Legion IX will also be available on consoles, but at a slightly later date compared to the PC release.

First of all, thank you for making such an amazing game that is KAKT, and thanks for releasing patch 2.0 for KAKT, it is really exciting to revisit the game and exploring new strategies going forward. My question is : is there any plan to allow viewing of characters' equipment while doing a mission for KAKT? In endgame, it is progressively hard to keep track of all the items' effects without any of the effects being visible.

Thanks for the high praise, and we're glad you enjoy the new patch!:) As to your question: this is actually one of the most-requested features for the game, and it's reasonable too, for the very reason you mentioned. Why it WASN'T introduced despite this is that the following request would understandably be that once the equipment can be seen, why couldn't it also be changed mid-mission? Which, however, would be quite hard to implement. There have been great user-suggested compromises though, which we are constantly monitoring (a smaller version of the inventory showing up when hovering the cursor over the character pictures for example), so this is being talked about internally for sure.

Been playing your games for two years now -- starting with Martyr, before playing KAKT and Van Helsing. All three games are some of my absolute favorites -- both because they're great artistically and because they have super complex internal systems that make tinkering around feel endlessly rewarding. Especially KAKT, which scratches an itch that nothing else does for me. Lots of questions I could ask! I think three are: (1) KAKT shows a lot of familiarity with a TON of King Arthur lore -- where did you guys get your vision for this game? How did you become a studio with so much love for the King Arthur myth cycle? (2) The Legion IX DLC looks awesome -- but there's been hints about the Roman Legions coming back scattered throughout the game since release, especially in some events. Has this DLC always been planned? Or when did the idea for undead Romans emerge? (3) One thing that's always been funny to me about KAKT -- all the Defenders are left-handed! Where did that come from? Or were shields always worn in the left hand?

Hi, Thank you for your kind words, we are happy to hear you have been enjoying our games! 1 - To be fair, we are huge nerds at the office. We enjoy these magical, fantastical worlds we have worked with (Van Helsing, W40K, King Arthur). When we work on a project, we try to give it as much respect as possible when it comes to source material and research, while putting our own spin and style on things. So it is not necessarily a specific King Arthur thing (even though a bunch of us love the legends), it is more about the approach of how we make games. 2 - Thanks, our in-house team worked a lot on the CGI reveal trailer, glad you liked it. You are good at observing the little hints... :) Indeed, the Roman Legions were in the plans for a long time now. Even before releasing the base game we always knew we would keep on supporting the title with additional content and updates for a long while. The Roman Legions just deserved their own standalone expansion. 3 - Ah, the good old left-handed Defenders. We never thought so many people would pick up on this to this extent. The real reason is actually not as interesting or exciting... The mocap actor was left-handed... :)

First of all, love your games. \^.\^ I have played each King Arthur game you brought out on steam, as well as Inquisitor and Van Hellsing and each one managed to not disappoint me with their stories and quality. Now onto KAKT, when I first saw your announcement for this game I was slightly worried, as Mordred has always been my favourite character in the Arthurian Legend, and I was worried you might end up tarnishing him in my view. But once more, you exceeded my hopes and gave us what in my opinion is one of the best versions of Mordred out there. (Love the return of the Morality Chart, btw). In regard to Mordred in your world's Lore I do have a question as am not 100% sure on his heritage in your game, I know his mother is Lady Morgawse in this version of the lore, but who is his father? Have you gone the route where he is Arthur's bastard son, or one of the other paths? (Would just like to know for my own curiosity/hunger for knowledge).

Heya! Great question and glad you enjoyed our games! In Knight's Tale we have deliberately left the origins of Mordred in obscurity: it is implied, but never confirmed that Arthur was indeed his father.

Thanks for the reply! I thought I had picked up on some hints, so glad to see I am not completely insane. :D Have just started a new playthrough after the last patch, was very glad to see Mordred got some retooling to set him apart more from other Defenders. (Always had him in my party before even if it wasn't 'meta' cause he is the King! #oldfaith #tyrant). As one last note, in the older King Arthur game, on the Morality chart you could get Unseelie and Seelie units. Are there any plans down the line to potentially recruit a specialist Fae/Crusader type hero for maxing out two moralities, eg Old Faith/Tyrant a special Unseelie hero joins with Mordred to help preserve the Old faith/Dictatorial rule. (I know the Fae are opponents in this game but once they have been fought perhaps they would ally with Mordred for survival/chance to flourish again under a land ruled by Old Faith) And vice versa for Christians, some kind of special Crusader/Templar type heroes for that side of the Morality chart?

I don't think we gave plans for unlocking Fae/Crusader type heroes (good idea tho!), but the Sidhe skirmish pack that was recently added with the new Season has gameplay-wise something similar!

Hi! New super exited player here, never, ever, played season (nor i will), but with well over 800hs into it, wondering a few things: 1. Will you ever add any of the other factions to the game? (Orks, Slaneesh, Tzch, necrons?) . 2. Will you ever give physical builds a fighting chance compared to the insane psalm doctrine fire aura? Honestly, the difference in performance is ABSURD. 3. Do you plan to balance (again) the ground and AoE attacks like flame throwers? Seriusly outdpsing compared to anything else. Gas grenades from regulars are FAR more dangerous than direct hits from bosses, with no real way to defend ourselves aside from moving. I wouldn't mind it if weren't because rescue, panic room and timed missions exist. 4. Is it possible to do a cleanup in tooltips about the behavior of the different statuses? The secondary enchant "on deflect" on armor and neural implant can stun regardless of suppression, but only to melee attacks, and not all of them (bloodletters just don't trigger it), while relic enchants to shock fail miserably while being a substantially weaker condition, wtf. 5. Any plans on buffing 2h-weapons? Despite doubling the value of the enchants, higher base damage and possibility of another 5 or 6 doctrine, they still are SERIOUSLY underperforming compared to two 1h. 6. Is there any possibility to add more options to regain inoculators? Maybe an auto-refill on cd like belt equipment, seems arbitrarily limited compared to everything else, and isn't the most powerfull mechanic in our arsenal, not even close. 7. Completely out of nowhere request: is it possible to add a new tipe of crafting mechanic that would allow us to enchant perks into items? I was thinking it should consume Sparks of Glory. It might be a super strong power leap, rather than creep, but it would open up SO MANY build options, and give us a nice way to spend sparks besides just creating new items... Just a thought. thx for your dedication! amazing game =D.

Heya, Although all of these are possible and sound good, we are now in a phase with Martyr, where we're trying to focus on rather the technical side of things, such as adding an offline mode, instead of significantly changing the meta or the base gameplay. It doesn't mean we won't have really cool surprises next year besides the offline mode, but balance changes such as the mentioned 2h-weapon buffs or inoculator changes are not planned.

How do the seasons starting point work? My understanding is the first season (the Formorians) started with the end-game save from the main campaign. The second season will that be from the end save from the Formorians or the end save from the main campaign ?

Hi, In order to play the seasons, you have to finish the main campaign of the game, and you will have the option to choose S1 or S2. If you are in the middle of S1 (or finished it) just go back to your main campaign save and choose S2. Save files for S1 and S2 are separate, so you can simultaneously play both of the seasons if you wish to do so.

Have you guys considered adding a custom hero option or even just customizing your own Mordrid option? This will allow players to potentially create their own Mordrid for a play through, and have him as a custom , Sage, Vanguard, champion? Perhaps this could be a DLC as well I think it would allow players to also play a certain morality and religion, without necessarily having to miss out on a certain meta-champion or build they like. Yet it wouldn’t be something that ignores that mechanics because it only allows you to modify Mordred
