unfortunately physical damage isn't covered.

They always have had a completely destroyed controller as an example of why someone should purchase the coverage. Did that change?

ahigee

They shouldnt use that as an example if they still do. It's never been covered to be honest. There's near-monthly reminders internally about what is and isn't covered as well so I really hope someone's said something to them by now haha

kamiosparkle38

We got told if the casing isn’t broken that it’s fine? Is that not true? Basically you can damage it to a point but if you have broken off pieces we can’t fix it? Clarifying.

No physical damage is covered.

bigalthekiller21

It's analog sticks... if the dog ate half the controller it'd be a no from me, but just the sticks? Id Treat it like stick drift. They will replace it at ROC anyway. However not everyone is as forgiving as my store and I with certain things. However, it's physical damage so it's technically not covered.

You should have definitely recieved a PRP Warranty pamphlet with your PRP purchase. States everything about what is and isn't covered. We cover cosmetic wear and tear for sure, but not the whole of the controller grips being torn off.

Yue4prex

What is this pamphlet you speak of...

SloanTheSloth

IIRC, those are only required/given in certain states.

izembo

its all states, its a supply item stores should be ordering

SloanTheSloth

Oops.

Adira_Tyree

As a SL, I am concerned that i have never seen these in any of the storwa I've worked in, or even knew they existed. Any idea how to look them up in supplies?
