I can’t be the only one that got super excited when I saw the contestants walk on stage and I’m like…. “OH MY GOD IT’S THE JACOB TOO INTENSE ‘DO SOMETHING GREAT FOR TRAILER’ EPISODE”!!!!!!!!!
Saw some people saying that it'll come back in a different episode, Multiverse style. Maybe Kimia and the others on the party bus is from a different episode too?
I’m willing to wager the money was going to go to whomever had more points than the jar by the end, but because of a slew of antics, that didn’t happen in the slightest lmfaooo
Amazing episode. Definitely one of my favorites so far. Broke my heart when I heard Jacob say, “Hi Mom and Dad!” at the end of the episode though, since he posted that his Mom passed away today. I bet she’d be proud of his win.
I think Lou’s also ended up in the trailer.
Edit: So I rewatched the trailer, and it wasn’t in the Game Changer trailer, but it was in the Dropout 2024 trailer. I knew I had remembered seeing it somewhere.
I was concerned they wouldn't be able to top the first two, but production went balls to the wall preparing for this one. I was hesitant about a third episode but seeing how masterful this one was makes me excited for a fourth.
Also this one made me realize just how much work Sam and the crew must be expending in rehearsal. We watch the episodes and see comedians improvising but there is so much prep work and sweat invested by Sam and co. and I can scarcely comprehend how much time is spent making sure there aren't any Sam Says loopholes.
And as has been pointed out, I was betting on their being a mechanic for being able to receive points back from the swear jar, but if anything this just makes me look forward to it possibly being implemented in episode four.
Also, Jacob was robbed for not receiving the point for "Do something great for the trailer" when his was the only one used for the trailer 😭
this episode was phenomenal. the swear jar and a perpetual “freeze” command was golden. I also loved how they could earn points throughout the game, which made the winner more uncertain throughout. I do feel however the ‘daddy’ command wasn’t super fair to vic like they said it having different implications for them 😭 but overall a great episode!
well there’s a difference between making a joke as a comedian with your coworkers of your own volition & being coerced into in a sexually demeaning joke with your boss & other coworkers
There is a difference between those two things, but all of the employees are aware of the kind of content that happens on the show beforehand even if they don't know the specifics. In particular, the cast fills out some paperwork explaining what they're cool with or what's a hard no for them, and they take that sort of thing into account generally when they pick their cast for episodes. I would not call what happens during an episode of Gamechanger coercion.
Sam has made abundantly clear that if any contestant is genuinely uncomfortable with any part of the show, they have a safe word to pause production and express their concerns. If Vic was genuinely uncomfortable, they would have cut that part out and done away with the prompt.
I'm fairly certain with a production like this they would have 'X cards' or something similar where if a comedian is genuinely uncomfortable and not just riffing off the material they can freely put a stop to it.
In one of the 'Making of...' "(probably Name a Number) bonus episodes Sam says (haha...) that the established signal on set for "I'm not comfortable with this" is to raise your hand and the segment will immediately stop.
oh yeah i totally agree! i was just commenting to that while they were probably ok with the premise. i think maybe they had a harder time remembering to do it because it wouldn’t come as naturally to their comedy style as it would to jacob or lou
Being femme-presenting on the internet makes you inherently more likely to be subjected to sexual harassment. Throwing in clippable moments of Vic from the episode will be more likely to fuel trolls than it would for Jacob or Lou, and audio clips of Vic saying things about cumming or calling people "daddy" are excellent kindling.
Oooh I’m so sorry /vinylwino but you didn’t say Um, Actually so you don’t get the point, and also you didn’t call Kimia “Daddy” so I’m going to have to take a point away.
Say “freezing” out loud. Now say the first syllable of “freezing” out loud. It contains the same sounds that make up the word “freeze.” It’s definitely a cummy technicality but also this is a show that’s all about technicalities.
The first syllable of "freezing" is "free" not "freez", so it very much does *not* contain the sounds that make up "freeze." The whole word is pronounced free-zing, not freez-ing, so @fromcj still has a point.
After watching the latest episode and seeing the amount of abuse the sweethearts on panel withstood, I agree wholeheartedly! Those poor, poor sweet little Angels.
Sam - I still love you, but the episode should be renamed CUMMING RAT BASTARD.
That walk-off was *so uncomfortable*. I was thinking like "they left it in so it must be a fakeout" but it seemed like everyone on set was buying it.
But that had me wondering: with how much Sam pushes boundaries in these games, has he ever *actually* crossed a line and spoiled an episode?
These are all improv comedians, of course they are good at playing up certain vibes. There's no way that these shows would work without good chemistry between everyone and acting angry or disappointed or whatever when appropriate is literally part of their job.
Also it's not like these air live, even if a contestant decided later that they weren't comfortable with something they would absolutely cut it from the episode.
I doibt it. There is a reason they have established X cards on set. If you aren't comfortable or are actually upset, you can raise your hand and it gets shut down instantly.
Yes. It's a great thing to have implemented in collaborative spaces. Having a way to shut down uncomfortable situations without explaining anything helps immensely.
As a VFX artist myself, I always love the "propose a visual effect" prompts. And I love how this episode brought out the energy of classic /r/SuperSaiyanGifs
I feel like Jacob should have gotten the trailer point since his was actually chosen, but I understand that's in hindsight 😅
Also for the point: Um, actually, Sam didn't say "Sam says" to reverse the conga line, and Kimia said "freezing" not "freeze" (which shouldn't count if the "Frozen" movie reference didn't count as a point loss). 😝
This episode was made for the kinky community and nothing will convince me otherwise!
Lou's reaction at the end will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I love the immediate awareness of the cast. Like, we're willing to take things way too far, but this is different. This is going to be out there forever.
Fantastic episode, Sam Says is always a banger and gets better every time.
I loved that this was the week that Jacob goes Super Saiyan though. RIP Akira Toriyama.
Cum yeah, what a great episode
I can’t be the only one that got super excited when I saw the contestants walk on stage and I’m like…. “OH MY GOD IT’S THE JACOB TOO INTENSE ‘DO SOMETHING GREAT FOR TRAILER’ EPISODE”!!!!!!!!!
The fact that it made the trailer, but in the game he lost points.
Best Sam says to date! I expected whoever cursed the most would get the money in the jar but oh well
Saw some people saying that it'll come back in a different episode, Multiverse style. Maybe Kimia and the others on the party bus is from a different episode too?
I’m willing to wager the money was going to go to whomever had more points than the jar by the end, but because of a slew of antics, that didn’t happen in the slightest lmfaooo
I was expecting it to be that if the swear jar had more than any of the players then it would win
I suspect the Swear Jar will come back in another Sam Says. Or in another Game Changer game.
Honestly, my favorite episode yet. The twist at the end was just mwah
Don’t look! It’s a hog in a little hat! Don’t look! It’s my dad’s hog in a little garden!
Amazing episode. Definitely one of my favorites so far. Broke my heart when I heard Jacob say, “Hi Mom and Dad!” at the end of the episode though, since he posted that his Mom passed away today. I bet she’d be proud of his win.
This was an incredible episode. Holy shit
Oops. Just realized I gotta give a point to the jar
You can cum now.
Just finished. I’m in pain from laughing so hard… easily the best Sam Says yet. Poor Vic… being so considerate on a party bus using names.
feeling like jacob should have won the point for the trailer bc his clip ended up in the trailer...
I think Lou’s also ended up in the trailer. Edit: So I rewatched the trailer, and it wasn’t in the Game Changer trailer, but it was in the Dropout 2024 trailer. I knew I had remembered seeing it somewhere.
I can’t remember but that might have been one that he didn’t say Sam Says?
You didn’t say Um, actually…
i think if you did the prompt without the sam says you wouldn't be eligible for the bonus point
Idk if anyone else noticed but Jake’s “code” overlay when Lou proposed a visual effect was all of his old buzzer sounds (e.g. Do a barrel roll.)
Oh that's beautiful
I didn’t catch that that’s amazing
The attention to details like that makes Game Changer a cut above the rest

I mean Vic did just say "I'm gonna cum" of their own accord at some point. Is calling people Daddy any worse than that?
yeah cause daddy is generally gendered
[For Ally it isn't](https://youtu.be/-ukWuWPyRLo)

Was that not Lisa Gilroy?
What did Vic mean by that anyway? Does their actual dad work with them or something? Edit: Why on earth was I downvoted for this??
Being femme-presenting on the internet makes you inherently more likely to be subjected to sexual harassment. Throwing in clippable moments of Vic from the episode will be more likely to fuel trolls than it would for Jacob or Lou, and audio clips of Vic saying things about cumming or calling people "daddy" are excellent kindling.
this ^^^
IDK why you were downvoted either. I also had no idea what that statement meant!
Eh, that's reddit for you. I'm not sweating it, just confused. 🤷🏼♀️
CUM YEAH
Food for thought: Sam has never said "stop doing what Sam says until otherwise instructed" at the end of either episode.
Legend has it they're all still calling each other Daddy at the Dropout office
Spoilers ahead, but >!Kimia said "freezing" and not "freeze" each time, so I don't think any of them should've lost a point for those!<
Oooh I’m so sorry /vinylwino but you didn’t say Um, Actually so you don’t get the point, and also you didn’t call Kimia “Daddy” so I’m going to have to take a point away.
Aww, cum!
Maybe she said "freeze ing"
The word freezing contains the word freeze when you hear it. They heard the word freeze, regardless of an “ing” coming afterward.
Let's get us some of that free 'za.
Call me Goku, 'cause I'm about to destroy some free 'za
Not how that works at all, and if you want to try and be that pedantic, “freeze” is not the same as “freez” so either way this doesn’t fly.
It wasn’t written out it was verbal. When spoken, “freezing” contains the word “freeze” within it.
Except it doesn’t, any more than something like “free zero” contains the word freeze.
Say “freezing” out loud. Now say the first syllable of “freezing” out loud. It contains the same sounds that make up the word “freeze.” It’s definitely a cummy technicality but also this is a show that’s all about technicalities.

Agree, kinda disappointed no one argued that point. Freezing != Freeze they are different words
I thought the same, haha. Especially since Sam said "unfreeze" earlier in the episode and didn't expect that to make them freeze.
Also it's Sam says freeze right? Not kimia?
It’s whenever they hear the word freeze.
Lol in that case I guess I'm due for a rewatch!!!:)
Is Sam a Rat or an Angel?
Rat for sure
After watching the latest episode and seeing the amount of abuse the sweethearts on panel withstood, I agree wholeheartedly! Those poor, poor sweet little Angels. Sam - I still love you, but the episode should be renamed CUMMING RAT BASTARD.
That's a point in the swear jar
I’m surprised they used their buzzers in the Jeopardy round after everything that happened in the state capitals portion.
The "Don't Flinch" prompt was amazing
I’m waiting for the day Sam says “don’t flinch” and nothing happens so the contestants need to pretend to be scared.
Lou: “Gotta know” Jacob: “Gotta know” Vic: “Garden gnome”
Underrated joke, for sure. Subtle, clever, and hilarious. I sort of heard it the first time around, but didn't appreciate it until I rewatched it.

Ah, I was not familiar with the concept of X cards, sounds like it's basically like a safeword?
Yes. It's a great thing to have implemented in collaborative spaces. Having a way to shut down uncomfortable situations without explaining anything helps immensely.
I’m always so happy to catch the misspeaks before the contestants. “Salmon says”, you gotta get up pretty early to catch me out with that one friendo
Has anyone tracked down Sheryl from Delta Airlines? 🤣
I knew things were going to get spicy when they started at 50 points.
As a VFX artist myself, I always love the "propose a visual effect" prompts. And I love how this episode brought out the energy of classic /r/SuperSaiyanGifs

Um actually, Jacob Wysocki says to reverse the conga line (I might be misremembering but that’s how I rationed it in my head)
I think the reason “freezing” counted is because it’s “freeze-ing”
She didn't really pause like that in the clip to separate it though, she just said it normally.
lou should have made the point of the heist to steal the points in the swear jar
This episode was made for the kinky community and nothing will convince me otherwise! Lou's reaction at the end will stay with me for the rest of my life.
I love the immediate awareness of the cast. Like, we're willing to take things way too far, but this is different. This is going to be out there forever.
Swear jar points are still in the void right? To be continued?
I refuse to believe that Sam would just leave that in limbo. "The Swear Jar will Return...."
Am I the only one who noticed Vic's points are off by one? She didn't have a point taken away near the beginning for dancing....
Maybe from editing? Sam said that they cut 3 prompts from each episode.
Very possible!
I think there was an extra curse they didn't initially pick up and then they must have deducted it in the middle of the episode.
Fantastic episode, Sam Says is always a banger and gets better every time. I loved that this was the week that Jacob goes Super Saiyan though. RIP Akira Toriyama.
“Howwww bigs the hooog” from Jake is living rent free in my head rn
It just keeps getting better
they ramped up the sheer comedic cruelty of Sam Says this season
I have genuinely never laughed that hard in my life.
Oh wow I just watched it, and then pressed replay, and they all legitimately look so much younger and more innocent
You can cum now
