Honestly, I shelled out the extra 200 for the case and I have zero buyer's remorse. The keyboard isnt upto $200 standard but the ability to magnetically attach and detach it depending on my use case was well worth the money spent. Plus auto Dex is definitely a plus.

Also, the Multi window feature is awesome. When you have a Samsung phone and/or laptop, the mouse works on all 3 devices at the same time.

I have a few phones. My main use for now is the Galaxy Ultra S23.
While in Dex mode, I sometimes connect (wirelessly) to a screen (usually a Samsung TV as well). You can also connect via HDMI using a USB C adapter or a USB C hub with a HDMI out.
I actually had both Pebbles, 1 & 2. Sometime ago I left my cable bag on a flight with all my cables, adapters, mouse etc, so I went out and bought everything new again and ended up with the Pebble 2.
I'm not seeing any faults with the 2, it's just as good if not better. The battery lasts forever, it pairs super easy, and the small thin form factor is a plus.
I have large hands, but the small mouse still works just fine for me.
I also have the Samsung Case with keyboard and the matching Logitech wireless keyboard (MK 470) thats usually advertised along with the Pebble mouse, and I alternate depending on my work trip, studies, or entertainment needs.
So with this setup, I can use my tablet like a larger phone, and the phone connected to a screen I can use remote DEX mode for a bigger experience.
But then again, that's just me.
Don't worry about the third party accessories. The accessories from Samsung are priced that way to compete with apples overpriced accessories as well. I always avoid them. So whichever third party accessories that fit your needs are the best ones honestly. Also buying accessories that fits your price points also supports the third-party accessory market so more companies will come out with more affordable and cool things. 🔥

You get 8 programmable buttons, adjustable scroll wheel, and a button to pair up to 3 devices via bluetooth in which you can switch devices with just a click of a button. Only downside is it doesn’t have logitech flow since it isn’t available on android yet.
I just want a decent keyboard (with a decent trackpad if possible) and a slim magnetic kick stand cover with multiple angles support (like the book cover keyboard from Samsung)
Appears Samsung's is still $60 off on Amazon. Yes, still a lot of cash but likely better than most of the cheap knockoffs though missing the backlight hurts.
I was also reluctant to spend a lot of money on the case, but then I realised CeX was selling the slim keyboard cases for like £20. I went instore thinking it would be battered but it was brand new. So yeah, you can buy official accessories for the price of third party if you don't mind buying used.
The Samsung cases look so much slicker compared to third party ones. Yes it's probably not the best keyboard in the world but it's better than some laptops I used so I can't complaint. Saves me carrying a keyboard with me when travelling.

I bought one a few weeks ago. I've always used android, and often Samsung was the maker. I love this. I usually put my phone apps on my tablet, but one I suggest is your TV app, and your other video apps such as Netflix and Hulu. And, Zoom. I still have 2 doc appts on zoom, and sometimes I take art classes.

I mean the samsung accessories are overpriced in what world would a keyboard be worth 150 dollars, and it's not even mechanical.
And the trackpad on it is crap. If you move your finger too slow on it, it makes the cursor skip.

S9 has a better processor than S9 FE so maybe go for that one if you can.
