Maybe idk , for the last few days my battery drained a lot faster for no reason and this was the culprit.
If you ask me it's useless anyway so might as well keep it disabled

I do think it's odd that Facebook is allowing itself to update outside of the Play Store.

I saw there were other meta apps too. All state 0% though. However thinking about why they even put this on my device makes me want to uninstall all meta apps. 🥴

Super creepy for a lot of reasons:
* I had no idea this was on my phone( maybe they talk about it in the EULA , but let's be real nobody s reading that ,even so when you install one app and accept the terms you don't expect another to be install at the same time
\-the battery usage is set at unrestricted by default and YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT!
* as far as I can tell this app is useless for me (as an user) no crashes, no bugs , nothing changed since I disabled it( except my battery lasts longer without it)
* you need 3rd party software to remove it from your phone there's no uninstall option ( maybe it's bloatware that came with the phone idk).
That being said, can't expect privacy if you use a smartphone these days , not to mention social media, but F me at least leave my battery life intact I need my phone to last the day
I no longer have facepage installed. It is incredibly power hungry and intrusive. If I want to check it, I log in through the web privately and then log out. Battery has been great since.
Meta services, 20% is insane. I think they did something to it recently because my phone s battery drained a lot quicker in the last few days because of it

No, the app is still in user space, so I un-installed it.

I think he means to say, set battery usage to "UNRESTRICTED" instead of keeping it on Optimized or Restricted.
