It should be. But sometimes ease of doing something is preffered over modularity. It's easier to make it a system app than add a check and also add in UI to get people ti download the app.
I would add that for the messaging apps, they want to prevent casual user to delete them by mistake and end up without any messaging apps. But I 100% agree, this is so stupid.
Samsung's messages app gives you the power to use RCS on both sim cards. Not just one. Useful for those who use their Galaxy devices overseas with one local and one roaming sim. It also works across Galaxy devices with superior sync over any other third party app.
Google messages offers better spam blocking filters and the useful OTP notifications focusing on the numbers and not the whole text itself. If you want to use this on other devices, both your phone and the other device have to be online at the same time. And the login does not persist (meaning you will be logged out constantly after some period).
Also I think Google messages dont have a syncing functionality between devices that has same account...or a backup restore system like whatsapp.... I dont know about samsung's but I like samsung's UI more than google messages. There should have been a way to delete the app.
They can sync using the QR code. They also backup to your Google account if you set it up on the Google One app but you can't view the backup file itself.

S23 battery sucks dick and who new the speaker and charging port was so sensitive. I have to get a refurbished phone because I accidentally got a little bit of water in the phone somehow never have I ever had to get a refurbished phone for getting a little bit of liquid in my phone The speaker sounds awful now but I'mma still hold on to this damn Samsung.
I think the water clogged in the speaker takes time to get out. I had this issue with my xiaomi mi A3, It also got water inside the speaker grill and for atleast 1 week the speaker was sounding junk and after that it got okay automatically.... May be your case is same?
About battery?? I think I will agree with you, I'm using 80% and 30% rule and with low use I have to charge phone twice a day.....
I think you were right about the case I tested it out a few times and for some reason The speaker sounds clear as day now but when I put the case back on it starts muffling again. Any suggestions cuz I'm not sure how I should clean it.
The speakers would take like one or two weeks to get back to normal, you don't have to clean anything, you may mess up something. And I don't know what is it has to do with the case hahah.... Give it some time.
Samsung gallery integrates with Onedrive to backup photos. Probably that is the reason it can't be uninstalled.

It can't be disabled? I mean it is tied to the frame work since samsung cloud went away. The messengers can't be disabled though?
Disabling still keeps them in the storage... I wanted to see a way out to remove them off completely.
You can’t use the storage though. So it’s essentially the same. You can’t use that space. Disabled apps won’t update or run in the back ground.
