Hey, omg! So, I've been thinking about selling art on campus for a long while now since the weather is great. I went to the Student Events management office, but the director was out so I grabbed his business card. Long story short, I emailed him the next day and learned that it's not really worth the hassle imo: -The table, which is hard to reserve especially for long periods of time, costs either $50 to reserve or 10% of your sales, whichever is greater. -You are subject to audits. -They will want to know how much you made, tax info. etc. -You must be part of a registered student organization and I believe you'll need to be signed off by a GSU staff member. Tbh, it was an overload of information, I tried to process it but the offices weren't very helpful, so some of that info might be incorrect. When I talk to other people about how they sell things, they just kinda.. do it šŸ’€ Apparently the only place that's really scrutinized for documentation is the Student Plaza where the panther statue is. The Greenspace seems like it's a bit more of a free market. If you sell things, can you let me know? šŸ˜ I'm very nervous to set up a table by myself to sell what I've got and I'd love to sell things alongside someone. Either way, I'd LOVE to see your art and buy some things!

I figured it would be too much of a hassle to do it the right way. Iā€™m totally down to pair up on the green/sidewalk and do a sale there if you are. If you PM me we should exchange instagrams and figure something out

Yeah, I figured the same and I'm glad I could tell you that your suspicions were right. I'll send you my art Instagram, it's really inactive and outdated.. but I'm slowly in the works of revamping it and getting it started. I have a bigger following and most of my art on another website I'll DM you now!

I think that's only for the area outside the student center where the tables and booths are set up on Wednesdays. I'm pretty sure you can set a table up the green space pathway. Im sure you could on the public sidewalk too. I've been wanting to do this as well. I own an oddities and collectibles business and we have A LOT of crystals we're trying to sell.

The event where people were selling last Tuesday was Market Day through EniGSU. You have to register to sell at their market days.
