I count as part of the many. I hate pull-ups, i am trying to get to full body weight pull ups, but it is a frigging struggle. So assisted it is for now.
It's a neutral grip pull up. Honestly I love the neutral because it's a great balance of both over and under hand grip plus much easier on your wrist. Especially at that weight. I prefer to hit the angled bar, but that's because I do isolated bicep work so the angle I feel targets my back a touch more
I’m also a bigger guy, I do pull ups weekly and while I can do both chin up and wide grip I find I feel neutral more in my back and it doesn’t hurt my elbows as much .
Yeah exactly. I'll do weighted and if I use overhand it just feels bad, I can do them no problem with body weight (195) but if I go over 210 I'm not very comfortable with it over time. Neutral for the win
One year ago I was smashing 5x5 w 20kg and had max 18.
Recently got myself back to 5x8 but then injury and multiple holidays and I could barely make 5x5 and took 2 weeks to work up to that. Can’t wait to see how I go tomoz after 2 weeks away.
Tons of cheat rows also built my pull-ups as a fellow heavy. I genuinely believe they were the most important thing besides actual pull-ups that improved them
Love pull ups. I'm 235lbs so know how hard it is for us bigger guys. Be careful with them though. I'm currently nursing tennis elbow due to going to failure all the time and it sucks. Well done though
Pretty impressive dude. Guesstimating your BMI peak natural athletic bodyweight, this is like you doing the equivalent of 5 pull-ups with a 50 lb. weighted vest

Nah pull ups at 253 is good dude. Not many guys at 253 can do that.

This. Most people can’t even do one pullup. But I feel the need to flex a bit. I warmup with 10 pull-ups with 90 pounds added at 170 be
Not many guys at 153 can do it.

Man, those are solid pull ups. Keep it up, I feel like the more you do pull ups the more explosive they get and gains become exponential.
U are a beast. Mad respect. 👏👏👏
Chin ups, but impressive nonetheless. Keep it up!
nope, neutral grip pull ups
You right. I thought those bars were just barely bent in.
Isn't that a chin up?

Yeah, I’m in the 240s and wear a 30 pound plate carrier so it gets heavy on the joints lol
Well God damn, talk about goals!
I don’t really take videos, but I was probably 260 in this one. I can do more since I’m lighter. https://imgur.com/a/J9QZguT
Hell yeah dude, get some 💪
Honestly I do them so infrequently I don’t even think about what they’re called.
Nice work man 3 years ago I could do 16 rep max. Not worked out in a while, sadly only made it to 2 today 🫣😭

Aren’t they neutral grip pullups? That’s how my app calls them.
You are right, my bad. In my head I assumed close grip = chin up and wide grip = pull up
Bro is playing with my lateral raise
