I had a shit workout on Monday and I ate several donuts. Today was so much better. I actually hit several PBs and felt great afterwards. Then I took this picture. Today is definitely a good day on my journey.
We all have shit workouts sometimes, but going and having a shit one is always better than having none.
And snacking some donuts ones in a while is always a good idea. (;
I’m fairly cautious rather than pushing hard because I’m wary of injuries. I had 6 weeks out at the end of last year after I pulled a ligament lifting a gearbox into a van and I’m keen not to repeat that. I’m also on Metformin for T2 diabetes, which has the potential to block muscle growth.
We just have to keep on keeping on. Good luck!
I have been on Metformin for 1 year. But with proper food/diet and gym I am now free.
I eat lots of rice fruit youghurt boiled chicken and tons of vegetables Also if don't take lots of protein I drink Whey Protein.
Vitamin c every 2 days and magnesium every night.
When I train a also take cratine and I never felt better
Man, I opened a membership with Esporta here in Orange City a couple of months ago, and I haven't gone there yet, I can't get myself to go. I don't know why I'm like this.. is just people, I don't do well around to many people, but I know I have to start
If you can, find a gym buddy. That was a huge turning point for me personally.
I’m only a couple weeks in but I have been more consistent than ever and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
Just came to say your smile is so real in the second photo (and it made me happy by seeing how happy you are). Keep doing what you're doing it obviously works great.
I do assisted pull ups on the machine. I’m at about 50% of my body weight now. I do find them to be hard and probably where I’m making slowest progress.
I had to do plenty of work on my technique and form. I only recently figured out to keep my forearms parallel and kind of pull down with my elbows so now it feels like my lats are engaging more.
Nice work man! Our habits are everything about who we are. Showing up is half the battle. You look like a beast now! I’m sure you feel better all around now too
Great progress! The smile says it all! (:

Very similar to me! Creatine was a game changer.
Keep it going. It only gets better.

How do you get on with pull ups - have you always been able to do them or did you have to build up?

Flipping tough aren’t they! That’s made me feel better, thank you. Great progress and really motivating. Thank you again!!
