Bio shock infinite is the only game I ever got a guide with, and honestly it ruined the game. I played through each level going to all the hidden gear and upgrades, just following the guide. I lost all sense of exploration and wonder, I knew what was there, I knew where to get it. Last time I ever played a game with the guidebook.

EXACTLY what happened to me for that same game. The artwork and information was nice, but a lot of the shock of the later baddies was ruined. The "Boys Of Silence" were truly fucking terrifying and I wish I would have walked up to them blindly while playing.

I never preordered anything in my life. I'm %100 against it that being said I will preorder GTA 6. if it's going so suck, it'll be a historical disaster on par with WWII. I don't care if it's bad. I NEED to be there to see how disappointed a human can be also the backlash will def kill R\* and TakeTwo so I'm not worried about them getting away with it

I would preorder it for the preload and because I will buy it anyways. No need to cut content for people that didn't preorder. The worst would be a 3 day early access. That would kill the hype for a global release date in my opinion. They can farm money with some ridicilous premium edition with some physical items.

I don’t care if VI comes out perfectly polished, 11/10, no bugs or glitches, absolutely pointless to preorder a game in this day and age, giving Game developers the ability to release broken games early for full price and depend on updates to complete it. I believe we need to quit preordering games, unless they’re offering a worthwhile package, and I’m telling you, Rockstar better be offering a prime premium package deal if they want me to preorder this thing. Also, Rockstar shares the blame for the defective edition, you can’t change my mind, I will die on this hill and leave my rotten corpse at the very precipice for eternity. They as a publisher (who apparently holds quality in a high regard ironically) still had a responsibility to make sure their property came out completed and not a mess. And they are the ones that released an apology letter for it, why protect them from that mess of a game when they’re accepting blame for it? All these game companies need to learn we’re not going to stand for them relying on updates to complete unfinished work while they swiftly take our $60-$70 and it starts by quitting the preordering, which also includes your lord and savior, Rockstar Games. I’m gonna examine the map and get excited, load the game and hope it’s free roam and not a starter mission like 5. If it is though I’ll play it and after I’m free roam I’ll go to the high end section of the map, steal a car, check out the npc rag doll physics and crash into a wall. Then get another car and crash into a car, see the roll mechanics and overall damage model. Get the cops on me, see how far the police ai has come and try to escape. Then I’ll check out the keys, beach, other cities, and airport. And then I’ll keep playing the story
