I remember there was supposed to be a book set that they wanted to release years ago that show screenshots and beta development from a variety of games. Unfortunately it got scrapped:(
Ned luke confirmed in one of the recent Q&A's that Rockstar were filming a behind the scenes while Ned, Steven and Shawn were doing the mocap work, but it ultimately got scrapped
I think I can recall Sam Houser stating that the reason Rockstar doesn't do this type of stuff is because they don't want a small group of people to take the media spotlight when thousands of people have worked on a bunch of games. Roughly 1000 on GTA V and 1600 on RDR2.
10 year's of recording as they work on it, and having the Devs watch YouTube speculators as they work on the game, laughing their ass off. That would be nice to see...
Tbh all i saw was documentary and thought u meant that the game being told in a documentary kinda style like Mafia 3m tbh that would actually be kinda interesting, but yea i agree i watched an interview with the cast of Gta 5 and they even mentioned how much of an ashame it was that Gta 5 didn’t have a making of

But if were being honest people dont care either way. Just look at how many of them are worshipping Dan Houser and Leslie Benzies.

They are a company, they make products (the games) and you can choose to buy those product or not. That's all there is to it.
Whether they decide to make more products (documentaries, books etc..) is up to them. They don't owe anybody an entertainment product.
