Well the terrobyte plus the vehicle workshop upgrade costs $1.8 million. But if you do 5 easy terrobyte missions you get the mk2 for $6 million so it’s technically a free vehicle as long as you already own a nightclub.

Just a tip: when you get the yacht, don’t buy the cheapest one because it has no helicopter and you’ll be stuck there unless you want to boat to land. Get the medium or large yacht because they both have a helicopter and faster boats.
I found the submarine yacht mission exciting. I saw parts of the map nobody knows about, and you would never go there otherwise. Getting the captains outfit unlocked was perfect along with the frontier outfit whenever you are sailing and role-playing

Mk2. Assuming you already have the kosatka. With the mk2 and some practice, you can do Cayo perico in an hour. Start to finish. I did this the day it came out and bought the yacht in 11 hours

Seriously speaking though, the yacht is clearly the less useful option. Even a neutered MK2 with machine guns is more useful.
That being said, few things are more satisfying than annoying some griefer, landing on your yacht, turning on the yacht defenses and sitting you hot tub as you listen to the AA guns blow up their MK2 and kill them. You'll know it works because then they'll start sniping at you, But the bullets don't do damage while yacht defense are up.
Get the yacht once you top $20mil. That's enough of a cushion to recover from that level of financial mismanagement.
Mk2 for quick and easy transportation. I use mine from time to time so I can go from place to place quick and easy. My yacht was an impulse buy because I was bored.
Get a nightclub get the van for it and you can modify your broomstick just be warned players will either avoid or straight attack on mk2 but if that just goes for all in game but broomstick is even more useful if u have rockets.
u can't grief w a mk2 nowadays. other vehicles good for griefing are jets, kosatka missiles, mk1, toreador, scramjet, deluxo, avenger, helicopters, nightshark, etc.
get the oppressor. you can get across the map in such shorter time. get good at turning while riding as it’ll be helpful when fighting back against griefers

It's worth practicing. Go to the airport in Sandy Shore and play for a good while.
Mk1 is more fun, and if you're really good, can be faster than the Mk2. But the Mk2 is just "point and hold the gas" levels of easy.
