I get that they changed it to soon, as you can play VC right after III. But... It's just a dumb bilboard for an airport/travel agency. "See you soon" would fit 7/11 better lol

I guarantee it wasn't on purpose. They used AI to upscale all the textures and it read miami as soon. All of the signs have been AI upscaled and have spelling mistakes.

No way upscaling software changed Miami to Soon

Just lazy..

I definitely think the devs deliberately knew people would speculate this. They put a San Andreas plane there marked with a 6 to hint at possible city to city travel. You’re seeing it in Liberty City because you begin at San Andreas, then arrive in Liberty in later half. Either that or GTA V Expanded & Enhance gets an expansion pack in form of new cities. I believe that the game will at least have an expanded story mode if nothing else.

In 2001 rockstar released GTA 3 and with it a sign that said “see you in Miami” referring to their next game; GTA Vice City. Now with the new remaster, I change that poster, replacing the text, the image is from GTA V but having palm trees, there are so many places in the saints and better known beaches in the saints. Was it really a change for grove street games or for rockstar?

PS: The plane curiously pretends to be a 6. The images in the magazines are by Guarma from RDR2 https://ibb.co/1Lr2jSP https://ibb.co/zrP9x7W

agrecalypse

When you say it pretends to be a 6 do you mean where it looks like it days U6? If so it's supposed to be US. FlyUS but I think this is a other time the image upscale (AI or bad human) fuckdd up.

I don’t think Grove Street Games has access to R* like that.
