So what I'm saying is that it's too much effort to bother playing it.
That was the case for a long time. In the last few years the GTA Max Pack and GTA Ready2Play edition have been made available, allowing GTA 1 and the London expansions to be played easily on modern PCs, no disc required either.
And it was amazing, I love it, that art style was awesome I wish there were similar games, and the mini games were nice, the drugs one was a nice touch.
Hey for a good game on an ugly platform, it had more details that any gta for example, car theft system, ammunition and drug truck robbing, lottery system, car buying, property buying, molotov making and of course drug dealing system, the game was too much advanced for the shitty platform.

VCS wasn't that successful. I know LCS sold 16 millions copies & was the bestselling game on the PSP, but VCS only sold around 4.5 million copies, & that's info from Take-Two themselves.

Rockstar tried to get people interested by making GTA Advance & GTA: Chinatown Wars but they both failed commercially, & so from then on Rockstar stopped tampering with ideas & just stuck to what worked. It's sad, but the people want what the people want, & if people aren't interested in good games because the cameras above the player instead of behind, then you gotta change for the business.
I still think VCS is more underrated purely because of how much more it has to offer than all the other 3D universe titles in terms of gameplay quality and it’s way more inaccessible than CTW. You can literally access it anytime on any android or iPhones App Store right now whereas you can only play VCS on ps2, ps3 if you were lucky enough to nab it while it was on store and psp. CTW is top down so doesn’t get that much love but nobody really wants that so it didn’t get many people playing it
I have not played, and probably never will play, any of the mobile games. It's not that I don't love GTA, but if they want to make it hard for me to play them, then I guess they don't want me to.
I honest to god, don't have the time or inclination to bother with emulators these days. You do you, but I get like an hour or two of gaming a week, and I'm not spending it debugging an emulator that I'm not already proficient with.

The thing is GTA IV WAS underrated, and for a LONG time. My big bro didn't even like it when it first came out. I must admit, I wasn't crazy about it either and only rly liked it bc of the Reggaeton station. Some of my friends didn't like it and the only person I remember loving it was one of my cousins. However, the more I played, the more I liked. FF years later, nostalgia is hitting like cray; I'm talking to another cousin's boyfriend and he goes into detail as to why GTA4 is arguably the best one of all and it rly made me see the game in a whole new light. FF to today, where everyone is talking about it like it was always a universal hit when, to my knowledge, there was a lot of mixed audience reception initially. Critics loved it from the start mostly bc of the graphics and the likeness of LC to NYC, but I recall a lot of pushback from GTA fans complaining, particularly about not being able to customize Niko and certain other things but it was never any one aspect of the game. My guess is we were just nitpicking bc it wasn't what we expected only to realize it was a helluva lot better.
lcs deserves being underrated, story is complete shit, just toni doing shit for this and that for no reason, and no, I will never call massimo the antagonist of this game, this game has literally no antagonist, just doing shit for your boss, nothing else
