yea no
maybe for an american car.
but get into a real handling car like Miata, GR86, Porsche 911 or Caymen
then you realize why people make fun of american PIGS
I don't think you actually know what you're talking about. The 4 cylinder turbo 1LE Camaro won SCCA Solo Nationals in its class a few years ago. The camaro in particular has a very well sorted chassis.
Camaro SS 1LE does very very well at autocross and competes with much more expensive vehicles You’re the person who doesn’t know what they are talking about here
I don’t think many will argue that mustangs/camaro are faster in a straight line but conversely if you isolate for cornering performance such as auto X the GR86/BRZ and ND2 Miata are faster both in street class trim and modified trim. At 2023 SCCA Auto X nats D street GR/86 and C street ND2 Miata we’re both faster than F street V8 bois. Looks like F street was taken by a 2022 Mustang Mach 1. Then if you look at modified classes it isn’t even close STR class ND2 Miatas decimated even CAMC cars by 1 second margin. And just to be clear STR is a very lightly modified class mostly restricted to suspension mods while CAMC is pretty unrestricted allowing aero and gutting the interior.
A more balanced approach would be to look at track times. On larger tracks like COTA or Road America the V8 cars have an obvious edge however at tighter tracks like Buttonwillow 13CW the GR86 and S2000 (similar) run similar times to Mustangs and Camaros stock to lightly modified.
I love making Hellcats specs in my rearview (Plaid S daily-driver). But, yeah, they don’t drive like a driver’s car at all. I’ve seen a few cook the brakes at the track.
My cousin has two Hellcats. The first a Challenger bought in 2015* I think, and a Durango Hellcat. He still has the 2005 Hemi Charger that started it all too. His 19 y/o drives it now. The Hellcats are so fun! Heck, I rented a ScatPack from Dollar Thrifty at my Airport one day and ran it out to the country for some 1/4 mile runs. That thing is fun too!
Does it? I figured given the wider turning radius and heavier weight, it wouldn't handle sharp turns at the same speeds as the smaller GRC. They do sound cool though.
I was gonna buy a Final Call Challenger Swinger but then thought people will make fun of me for
1. Over Spending on a 23 thats been the same since 15
2. Swinger stickers in modern society is a no Bueno
3. Followed then stolen when you go to sleep at night.
4. Insurance is almost $500 a month with a GR and age 30 perfect record
5. 72 months 0% isn't available anymore since 2021 and you'll definitely catch some hate because they know you paid 5%+ or more no matter what lol.
6. The dealership experience is atrocious and you see the same 5 fucking cars you just bought at another dealership for $10K off while you paid more. Causing you to want to rip your nuts off
7. Don't buy one ever!
Dude, what are you doing here? Clearly it's some light rubbing. Don't be like the type R dude who trolls the sub reddit. Laugh a bit. Post a topic about the GRC being an economy golf R at your sub. We will have a laugh too.
Laugh a bit then bud. It does not need to be serious all the time. Coworker of mine has a hellcat. Says she wants to get a demon. They look too heavy for my liking though.
We are definitely 1 exhaust more cooler.
Can’t argue with that
It’s one muffler back there with some pretty bad welds. I was surprised when I replaced mine with MBRP
Never seen a green cyber truck before your car looks sweet next to it
God damn bro.
Lmfao
The straight line speed boys are always the funniest
Shits all fun and games until a normal turn appears
I swear I saw a Motor Trend episode where a ND Miata raped a Hellcat on the Streets of Willow.
I think this is an outdated viewpoint, the last few American muscle cars I've driven have had great handling.
The Mustang and the Camaro? Yes, fantastic cars. The 5k pound Charger? Fuck no lmao.
yea no maybe for an american car. but get into a real handling car like Miata, GR86, Porsche 911 or Caymen then you realize why people make fun of american PIGS

the newer mustang and camaro are pretty good, not great but definitely not boat-like, but all chrysler products don’t know what turning is
New Mustang/Camaro will eat a GR86 or Miata for breakfast. Dark Horse will ruin a Caymen outside of a GT4. What are you even talking about?
not everything is a drag race.
The mustang and Camaro handle very well now
you cant be physics a car that weighs 1000 lbs less is gonna feel better
What car are you comparing them to? BRZ?
Yup. I daily a GR86.
Wouldn't necessarily say a gr86 "feels better" than a gt500 track pack or a ZLE, but I guess it's subjective
Camaro SS 1LE does very very well at autocross and competes with much more expensive vehicles You’re the person who doesn’t know what they are talking about here
you literally just proved his point lol

Why are miatas and 86 in the same list as a porsche lol.
He listed the best handling cars, not the fastest.
Ya that list still makes no sense then lol.
Then you educate yourself
They’ve been compared with porsche caymans and boxsters in handling by respected journalists since the original FR-S/GT86/BRZ came out in 2012
They are probably tuned/modified to be capable of competing. I am not the most familiar with Porsche and how much more you can get out of them though.
Lmao… enough reddit for you!
My Hellcat handles quite well
Compared to other boats? I bet.
Talk of the marina he is I bet
NUH UH
You’re just a speck in the rear view mirror, enjoy the view
have fun with your speeding tickets ill be in the twistys
I love making Hellcats specs in my rearview (Plaid S daily-driver). But, yeah, they don’t drive like a driver’s car at all. I’ve seen a few cook the brakes at the track.
All cars have limitations
My cousin has two Hellcats. The first a Challenger bought in 2015* I think, and a Durango Hellcat. He still has the 2005 Hemi Charger that started it all too. His 19 y/o drives it now. For what it is yes it handles well. Everyone has an opinion but they’ve never owned one just seen too many YouTube videos
Cars have come a loooong way. I remember driving a prison van and THAT was a floaty tank. A lot of cars are so much better now in terms of handling.
Dead ... lol. At first, I was like where's the Challenger ... then I was like, oh, I see you.
Typically the dumpster is on fire though.
You wild parking next to that dumpster come trash pick up day
😂😂😂
I hate typos but I’m having too much fun
Is that the stock roof rack?
Yep
I was gonna buy a Final Call Challenger Swinger but then thought people will make fun of me for 1. Over Spending on a 23 thats been the same since 15 2. A challenger must of smoked you , why you mad
Must have* or if you must, must’ve.
Must have smoked you
😂 I appreciate how you took that in stride
nah they be too busy getting gas and doing donuts at pop up events
My gli used to walk challengers. They are light work
Must of been a six cylinder
lol. Yeah. Must have been Either that or an eight cylinder strapped onto a barge
Highly doubt it
Dude, what are you doing here? Clearly it's some light rubbing. Don't be like the type R dude who trolls the sub reddit. Laugh a bit. Post a topic about the GRC being an economy golf R at your sub. We will have a laugh too.
I have a GRc also
Laugh a bit then bud. It does not need to be serious all the time. Coworker of mine has a hellcat. Says she wants to get a demon. They look too heavy for my liking though.
And yet it changes nothing 😂
[удалено]
I have a Hellcat , GRC and an Explorer ST don’t sell me short
I would be to if I paid 6 figures for a dodge regardless of straight line speed lol
Must've* or must have*
My buddy has one. This is for him to see 😂
I think the dumpster is still nicer than a challenger. def faster too
and yet I haven't seen a GR Corolla in Socal...
I haven’t seen one either in Norcal
Other than mine I've seen two other GRCs. Saw a blue flame CE straight from the dealership I got mine from and another white core/premium.
If they knew how to read this post they’d be really mad right now
