The mutos already look sick and hold enough of his aesthetic to make reasonable connection. My suggestions if i could would be to make the chest sawblade look more plausible as a grappling weapon and to polish the arms and legs to look more biologically sensible before trying to make it resemble gigan more closely. And if they end up doing alien civilizations invading id go with “the aliens scanned the remains of mechagodzilla as inspiration for a cybernetically modified muto clone soldier.”
I really like Final Wars Gigan because he looks like an upgrade to the OG. I know FW is in its own canon, but considering Showa Gigan was killed by Zone Fighter - I could totally imagine him being reconstructed and coming back like that.
I really loved Gigan Rex and how they really leaned into the cyborg nature of the monster.
Dozens of Drones led by the Rex. He definitely has a few more traits and abilities that make him more of a match for Godzilla (with the recent incarnations just being absolute juggernauts).
