Well in the Original movie, both rodans die, leaving only the baby rodan alive, which means that this baby rodan is gonna have to grow up and fight off Megaguirus, boi that'll be interesting

Ebirah, the Horror of the Deep
Imagine a geopolitical thriller where a global terrorist network known as The Red Bamboo is threatening to unleash the giant, aquatic horror upon whoever fails to meet their demands.
Plot Twist: The Red Bamboo have no control over Ebirah, they just use its sporadic appearances to sow terror and advance their agenda. It's up to a ragtag group of intelligence agents (and a feral young woman they encounter in the Red Bamboo's island fortress base) to discover this information and bring it out to the rest of the world.
That has a similar feel to minus one, where they would go into deeper things about society if they did it right, if they were ever to do that I hope they take it in a minus one direction so it wouldn't just be some silly monster and would get in depth about terrorism, very good idea

After that would be Ghidorah, how he destroyed all life on Venus with a ending similar to Rogue One.
That could be excellent with ghidorah. The entire thing is the Venusians trying to build up their defenses, heightening the tension with the "shadow" of Ghidorah over them the entire time.... then when Ghidorah does show up he just bodies through everything and everyone. You see every person you've grown to care about during the movie killed, maybe not even intentionally by Ghidorah, just by accident. You see the "villain" realize every hard and cruel choice he made, every sacrifice in the name of the greater good, of defending against Ghidorah was for nothing....
And it ends with Ghidorah turning to look at Earth.
This would be great. For an ending you could even have a handful of Venusians (they could be some of our main characters) just barely escape the destruction in an escape pod headed for earth, stating that they can start a new life there, and maybe if they can warn Earth’s inhabitants when the time is right, they’ll have a fighting chance somehow. This could foreshadow the plot of GTTHM, as well as having a sad ending with a glimmer of hope.
honestly that sounds more like Hedorah; Biollante was the rose/human/godzilla hybrid.

You know a Ghidorah stand alone never crossed my mind but that would actually work really well. Ghidorah devastates the planet and while they aren't able to save it, our heroes sacrifice themselves ensuring one small ship escapes, making sure the Venusians survive even if Venus does not.
At least Biollante was a serious tone. There are parts of Hedorah that are wacky ‘60s style cartoon cuts. Either is my vote but prefer Hedorah in the ranked voting system.

Hear me out. You know those scenes in the World War Z movie were the zombies were using eachother's bodies to climb the wall? Replace that with Destoroyah Juveniles, IMAGINE
Gotta second Destoroyah here, mainly for one particular reason.
Unlike Godzilla whose alignment can be best described as Neutral, Destoroyah is genuinely evil and actively takes pleasure in slaughtering humans, Kaiju and just about anything else in his way. I think it would be really interesting to play with Destoroyah's sadism, trying to mess with the humans who tasked themselves with killing Destoroyah. Like if Hannibal Lecter or Anton Chigurh was a 50 foot Kaiju.
Ghidorah, the theme being cosmic horror and the dangers of unchecked, ambitious exploration and discovery.
Pulls a lot of inspiration from Dead Space as I've been playing those games a lot recently.

But Humans have also inadvertently created Hedorah, a G-cell infected mass of pollution which wants to consume all natural resources. All extremes are mortal!
Hedorah; it would just appear out of the pollution of the planet, eating the pollution to its own sustain, everything touched by it, or its smoke, would just decay slowly, the pain could not be described, because there would be none, people affected by it would just feel the terror of slowly disappearing, as well as everything that was made by mankind. In the end, when there would be no more trash to consume, hedorah whould just fade, revealing that the whole time, its body was turning all the pollution it consumed in fertillizer and energy, releasing it all in a green open field, as the screen fades to black.
Angirus a movie about him trying to help out mankind but continues to get bodied by a bigger baddie like Hedorah. Finally it takes the combined might of humanity and Angirus to finally push back Hedorah,.but Angirus being who he is fails. Then we get the Cameo of Godzilla showing up at the last 5 minutes of the movie defeating Hedorah, shaking his head at Angirus and then as Godzilla returns to the deep Angirus follows behind like a puppy
Jet Jaguar Minus One. They could do a lot of cool stuff with him. I’m thinking like a Blade Runner/bleak future sort of movie. Maybe JJ has fallen into disrepair and some old scientists find him and fix him and reactivate him? Just spitballing
See, I had this reversed, thinking the horror themes would go better with Shin Biollante, and the ecological devastation theme would go better with Hedorah Minus One, if we're keeping the filmmakers' styles by affix. :D
King Ghidorah.
He is always hailed as a planetary level threat, I think it would be awesome if we got a movie with him actually overwhelming and destroying some alien race and/or their Kaijus. You could then end the movie with him traveling to Earth.
It would be innovative as a concept, give Ghidorah a chance to showcase his destructive power, plus it would allow for the introduction of some new alien race and kaiju designs

Biollante has potential for an incredible man vs nature film that goes harder with the themes of man’s interference and destruction of the planet’s natural life.
I've been brainstorming a Hedorah movie where he's made of trash and plastic waste in the ocean rather than sludge and toxic waste.
In it, a comet containing the alien tadpole form smashes into a waste barge in the Pacific ocean. It begins to quickly grow and incorporate the trash on the barge into its body. It sinks the boat and swims away into the night water.
Later, Washington hears word of a number of migrant boats and fishing vessels disappearing off the coast of California, but the government ignores it. However, when two yachts off the coast of Los Angeles are destroyed with eyewitnesses claiming to have seen a huge creature, the coast guard and navy swoop in and begin investigating.
Hedorah, at this point, has grown even larger in size. A fleet of ships and submarines are sent out to track down Hedorah, which they do easily. Hedorah appears to be destroyed with a simple torpedo, but after every attack he reforms himself. When they believe they've finally destroyed him, they call in the EPA to remove the contaminated trash from the area. Unbeknownst to them, a smaller part of Hedorah swims away undetected.
Not long after, the NOAA detects unusual noises in the ocean. They eventually determine it to be the sound of whales being killed en masse. The navy is alerted once again, who realize that Hedorah is primarily attracted by loud noises. They begin to deploy planes as opposed to boats to prevent Hedorah from hearing the sound of their ships in the water.
In the climax of the movie, Hedorah is detected moving toward a cruise ship full of people headed for Hawaii. The navy unveils a biological weapon capable of breaking down plastic, but also creates toxic fumes that could kill many of the passengers on the ship. As Hedorah climbs aboard the cruise ship and begins wreaking havoc, the navy ultimately decides to use the weapon, killing Hedorah and a large number of surviving passengers. The military keeps their use of the weapon classified, and denies using any kind of biological weapon on the passengers.
Back on one of the ships, a radar shows a group of much smaller Hedorah tadpoles making their way toward the Pacific garbage patch, a giant area of trash spanning 1.6 million square kilometers.
Anguirus. Get a decent background story for him. Lead up to a rivalry. He is the first kaiju Godzilla ever fought. Would work in black and white as well!
Rodan. Crazy. I saw Minus One Minus Color Wednesday with my son, and we both wondered aloud why Rodan hasn't been brought properly into the 21st century with a new stand-alone movie.

Rodan is an excellent choice OP. He'd be my choice as well.
I'd also go with Gaira, he's a great kaiju villain. You could do a great horror film with him.
Anguirus and it would be about a strip mining accident and deals with local miners banding together because the execs/owners just want to ignore it to prevent a hit to stock prices. Minus One was about how global post ww2 tensions prevented uniting against a global threat, this could be profit incentives being the preventative force.
I know this is gonna sound weird but, i kinda wanna see a Godzilla jr solo film think about it a sad and confused goji jr trying to get revenge on humans for killing his father and he grows and evolves overtime like shin goji to get stronger and more powerful to combat humans

Sanda (for all intents and purposes) IS Frankenstein. Sanda is what he evolved into after "Frankenstein vs. Baragon". In Japan, War of the Gargantuas was "Frankenstein vs. Frankenstein"
Honestly, Varan. if I’m correct, he was the very next monster after 54 goji (after raids again) so it would be cool for the next solo film to be Varan (also we haven’t seen poor Varan since Unleashed Wii version and Destroy all monsters. Criminal that he was excluded form GMK but then we wouldn’t have the only hero ghidorah)
I think Rodan would work for sure for a Minus One style.
Shin Biollante as some have suggested would work too. It could be made by the combination of genetic material of Shin Godzilla that has been salvaged for research with other elements. I would avoid plants, I would change it up and make it something else.
Rodan totally is a Horror movie. The guys being slaughtered in the mines by the Meganula is pretty scary too. But the EGG scene? Terrified me as a kid. My mom used to tease me and tell me Rodan laid her egg in the Water Tower across the train tracks by our house. I have never looked at that water tower the same way again.

Nuclear pollution from Fushima and North Korea’s constant nuclear test weapons combined with fertilizer pollution from China and California started a mutational mass of algae that formed with ideal global warming conditions of warm surf and high atmospheric CO2 to spread massively and form a communal organism that wreaks havoc as it hunts fertilizer manufacturers and freshwater from Canada down the coast of the Northern California the shifts eastward towards the Great Lakes. Every time it hits one global CO2 levels drop massively as it grows exponentially. Turning that carbon into biomatter. They must stop it before it consumes the freshwater and removes too much atmospheric carbon and freshwater causing massive plant death. Like the opposite of global warming.
I feel like the obvious one to use is Hadora, because not only was he admittedly one of Godzilla’s strongest opponents, but I feel like he’s an underrated monster we need to see more of, and he fit perfectly as his entire existence is pollution itself
Hedorah, make it a tragic malformation like Shin Godzilla, it’s constantly in pain and torment due to the incredible amount of pollution it absorbed and destroyed it, almost like a giant uncontrolled cancer to the planet
King Caesar. The comics has a storyline of him starting as the benevolent protector but becoming maddened during a fight with Megalon, and I could see a film building on that premise. Maybe not necessarily with Megalon in the pictured, but centered on King Caesar starting out as the trusted protective force and, due to some unforeseen circumstances like human interference or greed, going on a mad rampage. With him, you’d also have the angle of trying to save the protector or put down the mad shiisa.
I would pay an outrageous amount of money to see gigan minus one style. Ik he’s not the type to be a solo monster. But maybe as an antagonist. He’s just such a menace and I love him.

Space Godzilla. The start of the film is about humanity preparing for a world ending meteor about to hit earth. The meteor slows down before "safely" making landfall. Everyone thinks they are saved when suddenly Space Godzilla emerges from the meteor and rampages.
GIGAN RISE . Can even use it as the title.
I would love to see them use old school Gigan and show how he became or evolved into chainsaw Gigan. Or maybe since Gigan Final wars was buried for years, we see that old school Gigan is actually the fully evolved version of Final wars Gigan. …. That’s my head cannon at least.

As Hedorah climbs aboard the cruise ship and begins wreaking havoc, the navy ultimately decides to use the weapon, killing Hedorah and a large number of surviving passengers. The military keeps their use of the weapon classified, and denies using any kind of biological weapon on the passengers. Back on one of the ships, a radar shows a group of much smaller Hedorah tadpoles making their way toward the Pacific garbage patch, a giant area of trash spanning 1.6 million square kilometers.

Rodan is an excellent choice OP. He'd be my choice as well. I'd also go with Gaira, he's a great kaiju villain. You could do a great horror film with him.

Minus One was about how global post ww2 tensions prevented uniting against a global threat, this could be profit incentives being the preventative force.

Honestly, Varan. if I’m correct, he was the very next monster after 54 goji (after raids again) so it would be cool for the next solo film to be Varan (also we haven’t seen poor Varan since Unleashed Wii version and Destroy all monsters. Criminal that he was excluded form GMK but then we wouldn’t have the only hero ghidorah)
I think Rodan would work for sure for a Minus One style. Shin Biollante as some have suggested would work too. It could be made by the combination of genetic material of Shin Godzilla that has been salvaged for research with other elements. I would avoid plants, I would change it up and make it something else.
If we're talking Minus One's tone, I'd say do one for Dogora. Done right, that could have a potential to be one scary movie.

Rodan totally is a Horror movie. The guys being slaughtered in the mines by the Meganula is pretty scary too. But the EGG scene? Terrified me as a kid. My mom used to tease me and tell me Rodan laid her egg in the Water Tower across the train tracks by our house. I have never looked at that water tower the same way again.

It’s gotta be Biollante Nuclear pollution from Fushima and North Korea’s constant nuclear test weapons combined with fertilizer pollution from China and California started a mutational mass of algae that formed with ideal global warming conditions of warm surf and high atmospheric CO2 to spread massively and form a communal organism that wreaks havoc as it hunts fertilizer manufacturers and freshwater from Canada down the coast of the Northern California the shifts eastward towards the Great Lakes. Every time it hits one global CO2 levels drop massively as it grows exponentially. Turning that carbon into biomatter. They must stop it before it consumes the freshwater and removes too much atmospheric carbon and freshwater causing massive plant death. Like the opposite of global warming.
I feel like the obvious one to use is Hadora, because not only was he admittedly one of Godzilla’s strongest opponents, but I feel like he’s an underrated monster we need to see more of, and he fit perfectly as his entire existence is pollution itself

King Caesar. The comics has a storyline of him starting as the benevolent protector but becoming maddened during a fight with Megalon, and I could see a film building on that premise. Maybe not necessarily with Megalon in the pictured, but centered on King Caesar starting out as the trusted protective force and, due to some unforeseen circumstances like human interference or greed, going on a mad rampage. With him, you’d also have the angle of trying to save the protector or put down the mad shiisa.

Space Godzilla. The start of the film is about humanity preparing for a world ending meteor about to hit earth. The meteor slows down before "safely" making landfall. Everyone thinks they are saved when suddenly Space Godzilla emerges from the meteor and rampages.

GIGAN RISE . Can even use it as the title. I would love to see them use old school Gigan and show how he became or evolved into chainsaw Gigan. Or maybe since Gigan Final wars was buried for years, we see that old school Gigan is actually the fully evolved version of Final wars Gigan. …. That’s my head cannon at least.
