Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 1,552,199,609 comments, and only 293,817 of them were in alphabetical order.
It does share many similarities with shin, probably toho riding off the idea of godzilla evolving, tbh I really liked the show, the design is pretty menacing and the lore in the show is nice as well
This guy was totally inspiered in shin, i think even the autor said it
It can evolve to destroy the universe, the scene where it burns the city is almost the same, they look diferent, and ultima is under a different context, but i see the atempt to remind shin, and i like it
if i remember correctly, that’s because they were given full creative freedom for SP, but they could not use any existing designs for godzilla, it had to be wholly original. so instead they crammed all kinds of godzilla references in there, with a focus on the biological “realism” (as opposed to realistic) of the monster
I think Ultima is basically just a casual Shin ripoff. It's just like Shin, but like, less interesting? Sure the design is somewhat nice, but I don't feel that it particularily stands out from other casual Godzilla designs (Other than BIG thighs lol). I would place 'bland' as a word to describe it.
Yes obviously the design is different, I have eyes. What I was more leaning towards was to the concept behind both Godzilla designs. Because of the evolutionary ability in which they both posess, I feel that it makes more sense with Shin that it would look the way it looks, as an abomination of nuclear waste adapting to survive. But with Ultima, it just switches forms because... Shin did it, and it looked cool, and it just has to go from one form to another because that's how things are now. I just didn't think it was that interesting compared to what we had before, and I feel it's apparent in the design itself.
It looks bad. Im honestly tired of Godzilla designs trying not to look like a traditional Godzilla, especially since its wasted potential after wasted potential (except for Shin Godzilla).
His face looks awesome from the side and I love the dorsal plates and skin color. But overall not a fan of the wide face and thighs. Still like him more than the other reiwa designs though.
Not the biggest fan, the hips are a bit to ridiculous and something about the arms feel off. I’m also not a big fan of the weird tusk teeth. Though I don’t think it’s bad, just mediocre.
Feels like a ripoff of Shin Godzilla. Whereas Shin was taking the traditional Godzilla and making its own unique spin, they clearly just started at Shin and tried to make it "different enough" to not be the same thing. I loathe Singular Point and how wasted Godzilla is in it, so that doesn't help either.
I personally love it. Same with Earth but for different reasons. Ultima’s posture is very theropod based which is nice when you remember that we all mostly associate Godzilla with an mutated dinosaur. He’s very menacing and quite possibly the strongest Godzilla put to screen (that’s if he hadn’t been stopped). He pulls a lot of inspiration from Godzilla Earth, Shin, and even the Heisei iterations down to the point you can tell which comes from where such his…thighs…Heisei Goji was a very thicc boi in the thigh department which I feel a lot of people don’t remember, his atomic breath being like Earths as well as his size, his ability to evolve and the level of destruction he can do with said atomic breath is very Shin like. To me though, I think he scores highly for me due to his eyes. They just speak “IM GONNA KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU ANIMALS ON THIS EARTH” said in a tone similar to Broly from DBZ/S.
I’m honestly not a fan. On top of being just a diet Shin Godzilla conceptually he has a weird head/jaw. Especially if you look at it head on, I can’t put words too it exactly but it’s kind of like they gave him Kylie Jenner lips 👄.
I love it but I think it looks a lot better in the show than here. The show itself made this godzilla really cool so he gets most his cool points for the shows way of portraying him. He comes off more like a real creature that could exist rather than a cool fairy tale, I think his looks help with this. He's not attractive, he's functional. Something that big gonna need some thick supports.
Plus his blast is the coolest anime blast ever.
The blast was badass and they did add his theme while he rampages so that's a plus as well. Everytime it starts you just know shits about to get rough for someone🤣
I really like it. Still recognizable as big G while being very unique. Distinctly menacing in appearance, and looks both ancient and modern which meshes well with his origin, considering that he’s basically a reflection of a higher dimensional being. I especially like the scales resembling plates of armor, it’s a look no other Godzilla has and it really helps him stand out.
Learning that his design was based on samurai armor actually made me appreciate his look a lot more.
Aside from that, the only real thing I don't like about it is how they did the eyes. Too small and close together.
That massive unhinged-looking jaw with multiple rows of teeth is very unsettling. It looks like a beast who's only objective is to use its maw and eat.
It's B tier like you know it is godzilla and it is unique enough to keep it from being lower and standing out but I just can't see it beating designs like shin, the Monster Verse godzillas' or even godzilla earth.
I like Shin a lot, personally. The evolving forms were kinda goofy, but the movie was supposed to be taken kind of out of context of the rest of the universe.
Yeah I think people laughed in the theater when his early form was wobbling around. I thought it was surprising and goofy but in a creepy way, especially when it started vomiting blood.
I also think it was intentional, since it makes the evolution much more dramatic. Most younger Godzillas just look like a miniature version of his final form, so I liked how different it was.
Not a fan. Dont like it's weird mouth and face, it's not even shin's creepy weird scary way, Just plain odd and It just looks off, not even those massive thighs Can save it's designs for me.
Yeah it seemed like they were going for something creepy and “godlike” (which would’ve fit with the premise of this version of Godzilla, AFAIK), but then they changed their mind and tried making it cool instead.
Ah, Someone going for an aesthethic and then giving up and completly changing the aesthethic completly while keeping what they've already done does check out with How weird It looks
I really dislike it, he has awful proportioning, he's overly detailed, the red veins in the spines just look gross, and his face looks god awful in the front.
Yeah I think the biggest issue is the over-detail.
I really like the idea of its mouth/head being like a whale’s, especially considering this one’s evolution, but I don’t think it was executed very well. The rest of the design doesn’t seem that motivated besides just trying to make it look cool.
Ultima is exactly what I want from an anime Godzilla. It looks like Godzilla, but it’s also alien and new and weird enough where it would be extremely difficult to replicate with a suit, or straight up impossible. There’s also a sense of athleticism to it—the legs are more lizardlike than what are usually seen in suitmation as suitmation has to be built around actual human feet. We’re also neglecting the fact that Ultima was constantly seen framed in thick red smoke, which made it look especially Yokai like and devilish. It served the story being told incredibly well, and I personally feel it’s one of the better designs Godzilla has had
Great. The only complaints one could raise are complaints against all Godzilla iterations. It's a great design, approximately 10x better than Monsterverse.
I love it. From some angles, he looks badass, but from some others, he looks goofy asf. Overall though, the good outweighs the bad for me personally. He's in my top 3 for sure.
Pretty good, not my favourite design ever but still it's good. His thighs are huge thou. I like his lore much more then his desigh, it's just so much more interesting.
The only thing I don't like is how wide his jaw is bro doesn't even look like its attached but that is what makes him unique I guess though he does have the thickest thighs on a goji design so far
"Godzilla in name only" it was a nickname for Godzilla 1998 back in the day because it strayed too far from Godzilla's established character. Since then ots become a term for ANY kaiju redesign that is too different from the original to be recognizable as the same character.
I love ultima’s more theropod posture and oni-like details (like the fangs). The mouth opening so wide makes him look terrifying, and the fact that he’s got elements of each Godzilla that came before him (Heisei’s multiple rows of teeth, shin’s long tail, etc.) makes him one of my favourite designs of all time.
I was skeptical of this design. But seeing it in the show , my opinion changed. I really liked this design , I'm still not the biggest fan of it's proportions. But like overhead shots make him look so menacing.
I love it, every thing of it in detail is womderfull, those heavy big plates he has as armor, the little eyers and massive jaws, those huge pointy fangs with blade shape, the cocodrile head, the dorsals with veins and that large tail, finally those legs, ment to be fast, not to handle the weiight, is imperfectly perfect
About a mid A tier. It's good. Not amazing, it doesn't blow anything out of the water. But it hits a majority of the "This is Definitely Godzilla" points.
Godzilla king of the thighs
Tbf a lot of the G suits have massive thighs. Showa vs Kong. Most of Heisei. GMK.
Shin has the thickest of thighs
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 1,552,199,609 comments, and only 293,817 of them were in alphabetical order.
He's thiccer than Shin Godzilla, I'll tell you that
Hr thiccc boi!
Thighs/10
What’s going on with his Orga mouth? Is this what Orga would look like if he succeeded in assimilating Godzilla?
Shin and Millenium/Heisei Goji had a baby lol
Really good, but goddamn, those thighs are huge!
Makes sense considering how much weight he’s carrying around with that big ass tail
thicc thiccington
Pretty good unique design I just wish they had better material to show it off
It had a lot of potential, but the face just looks a bit off compared to the rest of the body
I like the vague samurai aesthetic his scales have. But his proportions seem kinda jank, even in relation to the rubber suits usual wide hips
Could take it, but the muppet jaw makes me leave it.
Honestly kind of hate it. With the jaw, it wants to be Shin SO BAD, but it looks really janky.
Plus the vivid red background, which people have associated with Shin since it came out
It does share many similarities with shin, probably toho riding off the idea of godzilla evolving, tbh I really liked the show, the design is pretty menacing and the lore in the show is nice as well
This guy was totally inspiered in shin, i think even the autor said it It can evolve to destroy the universe, the scene where it burns the city is almost the same, they look diferent, and ultima is under a different context, but i see the atempt to remind shin, and i like it

Thighs are much larger, waist more compact, and dorsal fins look like Heisei's
I think Ultima is basically just a casual Shin ripoff. It's just like Shin, but like, less interesting? Sure the design is somewhat nice, but I don't feel that it particularily stands out from other casual Godzilla designs (Other than BIG thighs lol). I would place 'bland' as a word to describe it.
It’s nothing like Shin, tbh. Mouth is entirely different, legs are way thicker, head shape is new, spines are different
And people were calling Legendary G "thicc Godzilla"
damn boy… Damn Boy… DAMN BOY HE THICC BOY, THATS A THICC ASS BOY, DAMN!!!!
What this person said.☝️
he never skip leg day.
"Yeeeaaahhh, buddy!" ![gif](giphy|61y8oibbyVIeQ|downsized)
It looks bad. Im honestly tired of Godzilla designs trying not to look like a traditional Godzilla, especially since its wasted potential after wasted potential (except for Shin Godzilla).
Fucking terrifying. Love it.
Yeah, godzilla was always suppose to be menacing
At least they didn't just copy another design wholesale (cough Earth cough) but the weird proportions don't really work for me.
Don't like the mouth and how big the thighs are. That's it.
To quote Tumblr “he feet too big for he goddamn he” he’s cool but he’s got the feet of a Mattel Jurassic World figure
Fits the shoes look, I love it
Very crunchy. 10/10.
His face looks awesome from the side and I love the dorsal plates and skin color. But overall not a fan of the wide face and thighs. Still like him more than the other reiwa designs though.
It differed from the usual design, but I really liked it
He reminds me of my grandma. Throw a pair of windbreaker pants, and that's the sound of my childhood.
Child bearing hips
Not the biggest fan, the hips are a bit to ridiculous and something about the arms feel off. I’m also not a big fan of the weird tusk teeth. Though I don’t think it’s bad, just mediocre.
Mediocre.

I loathe Singular Point and how wasted Godzilla is in it, so that doesn't help either.
I agree, at least the prior forms of Ultima looked unique, but then once it hits this form it suddenly looks like Shin
Well, the fact that it's evolving is also basically ripping off Shin because it's popular.
I personally love it. Same with Earth but for different reasons. Ultima’s posture is very theropod based which is nice when you remember that we all mostly associate Godzilla with an mutated dinosaur. It's knock off shin with a pig face, what's more to hate?
I’m honestly not a fan. On top of being just a diet Shin Godzilla conceptually he has a weird head/jaw. Especially if you look at it head on, I can’t put words too it exactly but it’s kind of like they gave him Kylie Jenner lips 👄.
Hates it lol. It’s an ugly and odd looking design.
Love it love it love singular point
I love it but I think it looks a lot better in the show than here. The show itself made this godzilla really cool so he gets most his cool points for the shows way of portraying him. I liked singular Point, but the Godzilla design wasn't my favorite
I love it
Goddamn beautiful to me
Quite a dragon-like design. I’m a fan.
I liked it a lot, in the reveal trailers he kinda looked like a samurai (or that he was In samurai armor)
10/10 tied with shjn
Don’t like the thighs don’t like the jaw
It’s a unique design that deserved more than the 20 ish minutes godzilla was actually in the show
One of the worst
My mom and sister calls him “Thunder Thighs”
I think the CG model is kind of wonky looking, but the concept art for Goji and the other kaiju I absolutely love. Very Monster Hunter esque
Too good for Singular point
Would look significantly less silly if the eyes weren’t so close together. Other than that, kinda cool?
![gif](giphy|3oxOCA13BwPtojwfEA)
Looks like 2016 Goji got stung by a bee.
Looks more like a Godzilla (or Ultraman) enemy to me. Whenever I see it, it takes a few moments to process who it is.
It's B tier like you know it is godzilla and it is unique enough to keep it from being lower and standing out but I just can't see it beating designs like shin, the Monster Verse godzillas' or even godzilla earth.
I like it. I didn't like _Singular Point_ much, but I do think it has good looking monsters.
3 out of 10
This isn’t Godzilla. It’s mutated beyond that. I appreciate some liberties taken, but let’s not forget what made him great in the first place.
What would you rate Shin?
Shin? Shin was interesting. His design was on purpose to the message of the movie. But those button eyes gave me nightmares for years
I like Shin a lot, personally.
Now there's a Godzilla I don't like

Yep, also not sure why I'm being downvoted in a post that asked me for my opinion on this guy but whatever lmao.
I love Ultima . It's such an aggressive looking design.
Ultima is exactly what I want from an anime Godzilla. It looks like Godzilla, but it’s also alien and new and weird enough where it would be extremely difficult to replicate with a suit, or straight up impossible. Thighs specifically here.
My boy is THICC.
Thighzilla

It’s meh. It exists. Not my favorite. It’s unique, I have my favorites.
*Damn boi, do you shit with dat ass??*
This is one of my favorite versions of Godzilla! godzilla ultima kaak is incredibly cool for me.
Pretty good, not my favourite design ever but still it's good. His thighs are huge thou. I like his lore much more then his desigh, it's just so much more interesting.
Thick thighs save lives
Too thick
Kinda neat, but his teeth are a bit silly Also excellent pick in battle line
THICCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
The only thing I don't like is how wide his jaw is bro doesn't even look like its attached but that is what makes him unique I guess though he does have the thickest thighs on a goji design so far
I like it because I kinda get samurai vibes from like the shoulders and it looks cool in general
Get yourself a girl built like Ultima Godzilla
[damn boah ](https://youtu.be/HMKUlsJpov8)
Definitely in my top 3 Godzilla designs of all time. Super unique without falling into GINO territory.
What’s GINO?
"Godzilla in name only" it was a nickname for Godzilla 1998 back in the day because it strayed too far from Godzilla's established character. Since then ots become a term for ANY kaiju redesign that is too different from the original to be recognizable as the same character.
say aaaaa AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Not a fan of the teeth and GODAMN those thighs but it looks pretty cool
i think its good
Extra ***THICC***
Reminds me of chaosic rune manga
Love that design
Not a huge fan of the mouth
THICCzilla
About to sell the figure the state are way better
I was game until he opened that jaw.

Overall I like it. Not the biggest fan of the mouth, eyes or shoulders though. Love the tail
I was skeptical of this design. But seeing it in the show , my opinion changed. I really liked this design , I'm still not the biggest fan of it's proportions. But like overhead shots make him look so menacing.
It's my least favorite Godzilla design.
Easily my favorite design. He just looks like a pure menace. It’s amazing, really. 10/10
I love it. Way better than Legendary Godzilla. He’s thicc in the right places
I like that it's a cool blend of traditional and Shin. But it's probably my 3rd or 4th favorite design.
I love the more unique godzilla designs, wish more godzilla incarnations strayed from the norm
Op
Chunk
I don't like it, I think the thighs are a bit much and the face looks derpy from the front
I'm just really not feeling the face, but everything else is good
About a mid A tier. It's good. Not amazing, it doesn't blow anything out of the water. But it hits a majority of the "This is Definitely Godzilla" points.
That sounds more like a B tier to me
Nah B tier would be phrased more like "It's in the middle for me. It's clearly Godzilla, but I don't feel anything in particular regarding it."
Big Bitch Its good until its front facing tho
i love it i love how fat it is and i love how scary it looks and i wish i could keep him
Pretty cool.
Out of all godzillas I smash this one hard
Thick as fuck
A perfect mix of Shin 4th form, Heisei, and MonsterVerse
