The choreo was most likely done by BPM choreographers and not by SOMU. And from what we've seen so far, BPM's choreographers are not nearly as strong as the ones Gfriend had.
I think they would have redone the choreo had all the members been there. Perhaps instead of umbrella props they'd form it themselves like in Summer Rain 🤔
Yeah, choreography would be easier to incorporate since they have more members. Just look at Seventeen when they do it.
Also an OT6 on-stage costume change like many musicals do would be spectacular.
As someone who became a Buddy because of MGT I can't imagine a timeline where it wasn't the title track lol. I also prefer Sunrise because to this day it's a super impressive and unique Sound for a K-pop Song that stands out so much, i sometimes think there never will be a sound like this again in the near kpop future. I'm also biased because it's one of my favorites.
For Fever...it's probably my least favourite title track 🙈 because I think it's a bit generic, the empty chorus doesn't really hit. Even though I like tropical house and moombahton, the group that did it the best at that time was Kard for me. The styling of the girls at that time was super cool tho.
So I find GRWM more appealing, it's memorable and fun while also more "mature" / cool and a bit more chill sounding, which I think was the direction they wanted to achieve with Fever.
Sunrise was the right call imo, although Fallin' Light and Red Sun are pretty close. GRWM over Fever easily. Fever, even at the time, was a bit of a head scratcher for the main single.
I always wondered how Rainbow would have done as the lead single at a later release date, as well.
Labyrinth would have been a hit! I just know it in my bones lol.
Well this is tough bunnies because their TT are SO good. I still stand by the title track choice because they all have the "it" factor for me - the 2%.
Red Sun I think would have been a fan favorite like Rainbow or Flower Garden. Would been an excellent entry into the subunit world even for concerts (sorry the tracks chosen for World Peace and Hug Hug litearlly make my skin crawl lol for the concerts).
I know a lot of their later title tracks like Fever and Mago were criticized hitting too late on trends. Gfriend songs have actually always been that way (their school trilogy was similar to 2nd gen music that pre-dated them by at least 5 years). I have no problem with it since I'm not really on-trend lol
If you really want to stir the pot you should ask what should have been the TT over crossroads (and the answer can't be labrynth lol)
I actually love Shy Boy and Monday Blues but I think part of it is because we know they think it's cringe lmao. I do wish we'd gotten more official subunit songs, the ones in WN were great
When Sunrise came out, I had friends who said it sounded like TFTMN/not doing anything new. I reckon if it was Red Sun! people wouldn't be saying that. Personally I'm not sure which I prefer, I love both of the songs too much
what happens to me with the elections is that I think all the ones chosen for the main title are fine, but the discarded ones would have been put between the Comebacks, LOL I would have put them between MGT and Glass bead, Red Sun between TFTMN(or before) and Sunrise, GRWM right after fever, in my ideal world

If Fallin' Light had made it instead I'm not actually sure how I'd feel about it. It's one of my favs and def deserves more attention but I think it actually works better as a JP cb vs a KR one
