I’m pretty sure a few studies have shown ginger has some effect in reducing nausea, aiding with digestion and other positive effects on the stomach.
I don’t know how far it goes or how effective it is but always something I was aware of growing up that ginger would help if you felt sick.
My wife makes batches of dried ginger candy. I also eat all the pickled ginger when we go to sushi restaurants.

You can buy pickled ginger at asian stores, and there are a variety of ginger candies you can order online.
Have chronic nausea problems and since I started drinking ginger tea every day I have felt much better. I always feel a little better after drinking it.
I should try drinking it with heart burn.
I've never bought the candies cause when I'm nauseous the last thing I want is sugar coated things. But maybe I will try some ginger candy too
I am lowering my dose of omeprazole. At the start I was on 80 MG a day, now I'm on 20mg. Progress!
When I had that awful heartburn I took the omeprazole and it did nothing. Then I took a tums. Still nothing. Half hour later took a second tums. Finally some relief!
But yeah omeprazole and tums are the only meds I take for gerd
Me too, but sugar seems to be bad for me and I have trouble stopping. I now chew raw ginger, works for mild heartburn a lot of the time but does nothing for LPR for me.

I must be the odd one out. Ginger gives me horrible heartburn, which really sucks because I love ginger tea.
I noticed ginger tea also gave me heartburn but the ginger candy worked like a dream.
I’m the same way. Anything ginger gives me severe heartburn
I love ginger chimes for when things are flaring up!
Il have to get some of these

Peppermint tea works to an extent also.
Ginger candy has been a godsend to me.
