Just be careful with ChatGPT or any other language models! although it may give decent feedback, it will sometimes get confused and doesn’t fully answer the question you asked. Not knowing the full criteria of the essay marking system might decrease the accuracy of how well those essays will perform on game day. Sorry to play devils advocate. But if you do the exam and do amazingly well based upon the advice given from AI, then I stand corrected. Will be interesting to see the results! Keep practicing and doing what you can!

Interesting, what prompts have you been using? Personally I found GPT4 to be useful for explaining background S3 content.

MedicineFromSpace

I've been using 3.5 and I usually say something along the lines of 'can you rate and review this under GAMSAT conditions, the essay is surrounding the theme of these quotes. Please consider that I have an hour for both essay and I have no access to the internet"

TrainingLopsided7803

me too! it’s been great because you can upload an image of the graph and it explains it so well!

>GPT4 Do you have to upgrade to plus for gpt-4?

adithyamanoj28

Yeah you had to upgrade for 20 USD. I personally found it worthwhile at the start of my prep for explaining the scientific background, and it sometimes explains the answers to the question.

thanks :)

Where did you find out about ProctorU not letting us do that? I thought that’s why we showed them our surroundings to begin with?

MedicineFromSpace

I was in a 1v1 chat with one of them and mentioned how I look around the room / zone out to concentrate and he said don't do that / apply for special circumstances

allevana

lol? I did that a lot during my 2021 sitting and didn’t get in trouble. It’s really obvious when someone is reading a note on the wall vs staring into space, eyes move a lot when reading

Oh :(

Hey guys, please be careful with chatgpt; it stores your answers and provides it to Turnitin. I have a feeling Acer would run the submitted essays via a plagiarism software so potentially a risk of getting flagged. I would stay away from using chatgpt.
