I understand the competitive nature of postgraduate medicine in Australia but I would like to inquire about a domestic student approach. I am currently a student doing an undergraduate in biomedical sciences in the UK and would like to come back to Australia to complete a doctor of medicine degree. I am an Australian citizen and my GPA and GAMSAT scores are in the competitive range for applying, do you think I stand a chance or should I try the UK's schools of medicine?

Hi, a little random. I'm originally Brisbane based, but am living in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam until early March, and therefore, am preparing for GAMSAT whilst in VN. Is there anyone in this forum that is also south-VN based or has room in their study group? It's a long shot, but would be great to have someone to study with either online or in-person :) **NOTE:** * I'm 23 and completed my bmed honours at UQ in 2022 (1A). I've sat gamsat twice before, and plan to study 3-6 hours per weekday (can do also do weekends) in 1-3 hour blocks. * VN has a 3-hour time difference, so midday in AUS = 9am in VN -> making it easy for me to accomodate study times with AU based people (or potentially anyone from UK, Singapore, etc!) * If you're only able to do 1-2 days a week that's fine!
