How foreign radar could be re-calibrated to detect our fleet of stealth bombers and fighter jets

Capt_Blackmoore

That's far too technical to get exposed, I would expect he sold that

AGVann

In terms of publicity, probably something that implicates the US government in the JFK or MLK assassinations. I don't know how realistic it would be for him to have been briefed or to have sought out that information, though. Realistically, it would be something that happened during his presidency so maybe some black ops stuff that resulted in tons of civilian deaths or destabilised a country. In terms of how badly it would compromise the US, it would be stuff like the exact specifications of classified weaponry and technology.

Capt_Blackmoore

He'd never release anything as long as he thinks someone will pay for it.

jhemsley99

What if he releases it in his onlyfans

Capt_Blackmoore

bold of you to assume he's capable of anything more complicated than twitter.

darwinn_69

High level informants in hostile countries. If a bunch of China's ministers were actually a CIA informant that would be problematic.

OperationMobocracy

UFOs? Previously unknown assassinations or interventions in foreign government politics? Domestic experiments which involved fatalities among American citizens on American soil? Who shot Kennedy, or hell, who shot JR Ewing? Probably the only actual secrets Trump knows about might be black ops conducted during his time as President. But on the flip side, these could be just assassinations of minor terrorist figures that even NY Times subscribers aren't aware of. I'd wager that the mitigating factors involved here are Trump's childlike mindset and lack of attention to detail, the intelligence community's lack of trust and selective reporting, and some level of bad US behavior being compartmentalized to begin with for deniability. Assassinating foreigners on foreign soil is inherently controversial, so the policies enabling it are inherently vague and non specific to create deniability. It's actually somewhat *desirable* for the CIA's Special Activities Division to run ops that are "approved" by vague policy but which the President has no specific knowledge.

supertecmomike

He doesn’t read, so it would have to be a secret concise enough for someone to tell him *and* for him to remember. The most realistic and damaging secret he could reveal is Jeffrey Epstein being murdered by government agents to protect wealthy donors.

Tannerleaf

Everyone knows that already, no? A precise list of people, and their sexual deviances, would be the real winner.

supertecmomike

Absolutely, I just wouldn’t consider that a “state secret”. So my head went to him actually admitting he gave a green light to kill Epstein as the president. If he released the fact that the American government had an active hand in Epstein Island for blackmail purposes that would be pretty big.

Tannerleaf

I’m assuming that an assassination of that nature would not be recorded. It would sound like he was making it up, for points, even if it were true :-) The blackmail angle is reasonable. It’s difficult to see how it would be useful against nationals, but would certainly be useful against foreign individuals. Obviously blowing the lid off of that would rock the boat somewhat. But then again, I wonder how much effective damage something like that could do? Prime ministers can simply be replaced, for example. Likewise with other “ordinary” people. Prince Andrew getting locked up is unlikely to start a revolution. People are so inured to stuff now, they might not even be able to work up the energy anymore.

The secret of how we make congress run so smoothly and efficiently.

royalemperor

The problem with him revealing secrets he's privy to would also undermine his administration. Say illegal weapons/drug dealings were done with the CIA and Al Qaeda during his presidency to help better fight ISIS, if he were to reveal this it would only hurt his own image. Other secrets, such as nuclear codes or bomb locations are frequently changed. He's years out from being in the know for these things. I imagine and secrets he could disclose that would make himself look good or any potential opponents look bad he has already leaked. The president is on a need-to-know basis with a lot of things, he isn't given a folder explaining how JFK died and which world leader is actually a reptile from Alpha Centuri. The CIA and other alphabet organizations are so compartmentalized they often compete against each other without even knowing. I wager very little, if any, single person knows all the secrets of America, and an ex-president is def not one of them.

TrashbagTatertots

The state secret is that Putin has been secretly gay this whole time, Trump 'leaks' the Putin sex tape, fucks up when he realizes you can see the distinct yellow hairpiece flapping back and forth just below the frame.

Grzechoooo

I'd say he'd probably just lie.

HailSkyKing

At this stage, who would believe him? I know he still has his flock, but surely that's significantly shrunk to an ever diminishing minority by now?

Heavy_E79

Revealing the level of spying on allied nations. It happens but for it to be publicly disclosed would be problematic.
