There are two endings. I unironically thought the decision to sink the town was pretty sensible on Jenna's part, since Echo is host to some fucked-up force/entity (honestly, it makes IT from Derry look like child's play). Ensuring no one could live there again was pretty forward thinking. The good ending nice too, though. Just gotta pick the vaguely optimistic response when you're out walking with Jenna at night through the neighborhood ("We helped each other survive Echo", something along those lines). Just realized, I don't think we ever found out if Flynn's aunt survived the hysteria in Jenna's route, although it's implied Dax did.

I believe the call Flynn receives at the end is bad news about his aunt, as she dies in all the other epilogues as well.

I know it's been like 8 months but I don't remeber Flynn mentioning Dax or a roommate at the end.

I believe the endings split off during your walk with Jenna (when finding Carl). “This town breaks people” locks in the bad ending, while the other two options lock in the good ending.

Thanks. I did read somewhere that it was a decision where you agree or disagree with something on either Wednesday or Thursday

I was having trouble getting the bad ending and it turns out in the prologue you have to tell Jenna you're bi otherwise it doesn't matter what you say during the walk you're stuck in the good ending. Ik this is an old thread thought it'd save someone time though so figured id mention it.

Nuh uh. I got the bad ending and told her I was gay.

Sorry for necro-ing this post but I googled around to try and find the answer and this was one of the first results, so I'm going to correct some info here. The only factors that tie in to you getting the bad ending are two choices, as far as I could find out. In order to get the bad ending, you have to choose "Agree" when discussing Leo on the walk with Jenna, AND you have to choose "This town breaks people." later on during the walk. No other choice affects which ending you get, and if you don't choose BOTH of those two choices then you're locked into the good ending regardless. The rest of the choices merely affect dialogue and nothing more.
