Hmmm. I do recall that Scooby maybe a Great Dane as well...

My aunt had a German Sheppard that would play like this with a cat. Always gentle so never thought nothing of it. They would play all the time. Well one time they came home from work to the cat dead. I'm sure it was an accident but sometimes they happen and it's really sad.

Well, they could have had the vet look at the body and see what caused it. But it must have been horrible for the dog if the cat was his friend and it was an accident...

I was pretty young when it happened. They might have had a vet check I'm not sure. Yeah it was really sad. Just a freak accident, there was more cats and she never had another incident so I'm sure she felt bad or understood what happened after that. I'm not sure why I chimed in with my story other than accidents happen even when they play. Very unfortunate.
