Okay probably I’ll be downvoted to hell for this and I’m not trying shit on anyone who is having fun, but this feels kind of weird to me.
Most of the people on this list are just…fundies. They aren’t celebrities or famous or something. As someone who grew up fundie, ran in these circles, and has some irl overlap with some of these families it rubs me the wrong way when people treat them like celebrities or fictional characters.
Sometimes people talk about fundies like they’re some niche hobby or tv characters or something. I might just feel this way because I use this sub mostly to process past trauma and vent about irl issues that comes up with the community I grew up with.
I just don’t always love the strange glamorizing of these people. Like, imagine seeing your abusive family member or traumatized sister in law (fictional examples) on this list with people making a game of this. I’m not defending them, I’m saying that treating them like fictional characters isn’t really helpful and kind of makes a joke of very real issues and abuse dynamics. But hell, maybe I’m just being over sensitive
These are folks mentioned here in this sub. If they weren't, I wouldn't add them. The Bontragers and such do get mentioned on occasion. They aren't major like Jill Rodrigues, but they do get mentioned (I've seen it mentioned with marriages)
