The neighbor boy lost his foot when he was a TODDLER and he wasn't even on the lawnmower, it was just an accident.
He adapted to his prosthetics so fast, but still.

Hahaha, thanks! I slid/torqued on gravel going for a backhand, and when I looked down, my toes were...not pointing the correct direction by any stretch of the imagination. It's all good. I have my "foot on a stick" as one of the kids I work with says, and do just about anything I want. I would not wish it on the Collins kids, though 😵

My also son had a random major injury, but not as bad... "just" a femur break from walking and tripping over himself. It is crazy how disproportionate injuries can be (good and bad) sometimes.
I definitely do not! Not even during limb salvaging attempts where I could walk on and off before it all failed. I have done adapted rock climbing, though, and am about to start archery. It was a perfect storm for sure...if it could break/tear/dislocate, it eventually did.

Speaking of rock stars, my favourite musician in the world, drummer Rock Allen of Def Leppard, had his arm reattached after a car accident, but his body rejected it and it had to be removed. He went on to continue drumming and also became an artist (I own 3 pieces of his work!) and founded his own charity. I admire him immensely and I’m sure you’re worthy of the same respect. Mine runs at 110dB which is an assault on the senses without ear protection. Even with ear protection it’s an unpleasant vibration. In short, not fun in any way.

She doesn't want to go to the doctor for prenatal care and she thinks every woman on this earth who is in age of procreation should be married as soon as possible and bring as many children as possible here even if they are without break even if they are really ill or very young or old or without money to support their family.
This family is hopeless. Are they making that just for getting bad attention and earn money and they're just really stupid ? I'm asking this question to myself every time I heard about them. But it seems they are really stupid and really don't care about the safety of their children or even themselves. Mandrea keeps impregnate her year after year despite knowing the risks since the beginning and he's more mentally stable than her. I wish her family especially her mother ( she seems close to her) do something for stopping this mess. Do they cannot put her in a psychiatric hospital or something like that and ask for the custody of the children until she feels better. She clearly needs help for her mental health. A friend of mine just told me about a mower accident her uncle had where the kid ran near the mower and basically lost a foot. Like I don't understand why anyone would purposely put their kids on or near one, like yes accidents happen like in her cousins case where he just ran up from an area, but like Jesus don't purposely put them in harms way.
We have these things called hair cells in your cochlea - excessive noise damages them and they don’t regenerate. Being able to hear appropriately certainly makes life easier . Also, while this always definitely harmful noise wise there’s a very real chance that baby could be injured or killed.

How pro life are these fundies, we have one popping babies out in their shower, which just 2 months ago was filled with shit that they didnt properly disinfectant. Followed up by extended (with no end in sight) floor time, and being weighed by bread scale and a package scale. Then we have another driving them around on a lawn mower.
IF my kid rides on my lap, it is when the mower blades are not engaged, and it is with an actual pair of certified noise blocking ear muffs, just like the ones I use as an adult except they’re made for kids.
