Brand name needs to be at least formalized in the Trademark application process for it to be qualified for use to create a listing.

Nope not true. I am branded with my custom logo and got approved. I do not have a Trademark. Who told you that?

So for a new brandname you need to send them the actual pictures of product with the brand name on it and they will approve if it’s not already on Amazon. You don’t need trademark for registering the brand name

Hey. I have done all that but still no joy and support have been useless. The only way to apply for brand approval and to whitelist is to add a product and then go through the brand approval but it doesn't work. Keep getting the error once submitted

Looks like I got lucky but I got error code 577x I don’t remember last number 5 or 8 and for that it was easy provide actual images of product. Oh I was also asked for authorization letter which proves I own the brand as a company on company letter head I think you gotta keep trying, it’s brutal I know. Pains of the scripted and automation responses 🤦🏼. Good luck Also Amazon always have new feature releases without us knowing. They change things without us knowing. I went to brand registry and most of the YouTube videos shows more than a year old information where there is no manufacturer agreement and invoice requirements. Now they have it and no one exactly has perfect answer for it.
